Very central, convenient location. Room good size & clean. Beach, shops, markets, restaurants, close by. Hotel welcoming and very comfortable, not overly expensive for Honolulu. Bus Tours pickup point was 5 minute walk from hotel. We are mature age couple and liked this hotel. Recommended for any age group.

Good location. Balcony to the room was a plus. Most tour operators picked up at the hotel, others close by.

No breakfast included in the price. Also, a business centre would have been helpful. bath tub wasn't cleaned every day.

requested king size bed and got two doubles,asked for kettle or jug to make tea,staff said yes but we never got it.

Reception staff very helpful - really appreciated getting off an overnight flight and being in my room by 0900hrs. Balcony to smoke on (there is a $10 P.N. smoking tax) was very welcome in smoker-unfriendly Honolulu. Very large room.

Great location, handy to shops, restaurants, bus stops, ATM's and the beach - which was only 2 blocks away. Nice and quiet location with no traffic noise. Handy having Denny's downstairs for breakfast.

uncertainty of how to get to certain places using the public transport - info supplied by concierge is dated - this should be updated and kept current. We took 1.5 hours to get to Pearl Harbour due to going via airport which was unnecessary. Hanauma Bay visit was the same with misinformed information given to us. Pity as this wasted far too much time.

Old and tired rooms. Toilet bowl was moving everytime we sat on it. Bell attendant asked us a tip eventhough he hasn't done anything yet--Totally surprised us! We haven't even checked-in the hotel yet.

Great Location and glad we went for the ocean view room. Friendly staff and comfy bed.

Difficult to manage 2 suitcases in the room, space wise

My 11 y/o daughter and I were arriving on a 615am plane from Aust. I had emailed the hotel several days previously & asked for early check in and did not receive a response. When we arrived at 7.30am to the hotel we were greeted by rudeness, disorganisation and told we could have a cold shower at the pool area. Check in was a 3pm so we had to hang around til then. They did store out bags.

I liked everything about the Miramar, could not fault anything about the hotel or staff, all fabulous. as a not so young solo women traveller , everything thing was in easy reach of the hotel, safe and comfortable. I will definately stay again I stayed in March 2013.on the 14th floor. I will return

After a long flight approx 9.1/2hrs we arrived to have to wait for our room to be ready by 3pm. (I had forgotten this was noted on my email accomodation confirmation). So my husband and I waited in the foyer approx 5hrs exhausted and desperatly needing a shower for all other visitors to see. For visitors arriving a tea or coffee is a welcome relaxation I would have appreciated a small containter of milk be available in fridge on our arrival, also the T/ Bags lable was very faded - I wondered how fresh the tea was? -

The main foyer very flash - but it stopped there. Location was good for shopping, beach and restaurants.

Bathroom very small and no ventilation so steamed pretty badly. Room backed on to lift shaft and it was like staying near the airport (noise wise). Didn't consider it value for money paid. Very disappointed as stayed at the Mirimar in Singapore which was great. Not in the same class but was dearer.

We were just over night before our trip home, but the staff were excellent, fun, helpful and witty! Made us feel welcome, always with a smile. Even the waiters in the elevator on the way to the 5th floor dining, were nice and helpful. Will stay again when in Honolulu!

Have to wait for the room when i got there not ready and the lady who help us it's not ver friendly.

Very clean and friendly great position staff very helpful. We were on 17thd floor and had a great view of mountains and golf course. I would recommend this hotel to my friends

Location was good, can walk to Waikiki easily. Staff was friendly in general. Room was larger than expected

Staff had told me they were able to receive and hold a parcel for me while I was absent. However when I came back, no-one knew about this anymore and the shipment got lost. Quite expensive but probably due to high season

Just loved the position so close to everything. The travel agency Aloha Travel were excellent - so friendly and so helpful. Would recommend to all my friend.

I stayed on the top floor and when the door to the balcony was open all the roof tiles lifted - it was a bit off putting.

Check in was quick and easy

Very unmodern. The hotel really needs a "facelift". The noice from outside was very disturbing. No wireless internet avaiable in the rooms.

Breakfast buffet was too expensive. No Dog policy is a laugh. The Yoga instructor ignores it and poo poos anyone complaining about it and management allows it.
