staff was excellent except no knowledge of roads ajoining the hotel to 163 or how to get to north side ofhotel circle thought this was unexcusable other than that perfect other info. the jacuzzi / and pool wonderful and open to 10 l loved that/loved breakfast room service WILL stay here again

water in bathroom drained very slow anything pluged in fell out of sockets and light fictures fell out of wall light sockets /no power to some light sockets

Private room availability #652 is the best compared to other rooms on south-end of hotel. Hotel pool and laundry is always the best and rivals other surrounding hotels, not as roomy, or clean, not as atmosphere-friendly. I have checked in twice in one month and will continue to do so before/after ComicCon price rates. Thank you for comfortable stay. Please stay in business, the landscape of Mission Valley Resort is the best of any hotel in Mission Valley, a tropical escapesque type, worth hotel booking rate.

Some rooms are not upkept as well as others. Maybe due to being smoking rooms. Bathrooms are not as clean as others, cracked tiles, cracking tubs, too much rusted shower curtain rods. PLEASE REPLACE rusting shower rods. Steam causes rust to travel to skin during longer showers and baths. Thank you for taking care of this for future hotel stays. Ysabel Dale

Price was a great deal. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Convenient parking to our room. Great location to Gas Lamp, Old Town and most attractions. Friendly and accomodating staff. We will be coming back to stay again...and again!

Dirty, run down room inneed of paint, clean furniture and current linens..The people next door were loud and outside till 5 AM I called security at midnight and they continued. I was also told that they were charing us an additional 75.00 for my 12 dog who is better trained then their other guests.

beds were horrible, furniture in room broken and falling apart. room 405. definitely needs security around. wouldn't want to take younger children there

I enjoyed the breakfast at their restaurant. The Front Desk staff & the Restaurant staff were all very nice.

The room need some serious updating. It had an imbedded smoke odor, despite it being listed as a "non smoking" room. The furniture, bedding, television, etc. is just too old to be in any hotel room. I checked to see if there was a room upgrade available-but was told that none was available. I was given a free breakfast coupon because I shared with the staff that I had never stayed in such a poor quality lodging!

cheap prices but you got what you paid for

cockroaches in room, grass in front of the door loaded with days of dog poop, the tv didnt work and didnt get fixed until the second day. rooms are very small and crowded.

The room was not clean, actually the bathroom. There were many hairs on the floor and in the tub. We went to check in at 2:30 but were told check in was at 3:00 and to come back in half an hour. I know the brochure says 3:00 but I can't believe that in 30 minutes all rooms would then be cleaned. It was mid-week, Tuesday and Wednesday. The room had towels and washcloths when we arrived but no washcloths on Wednesday. I called twice but no one came. Fortunately, we are locals and were having new floors put in our house and needed to be gone two nights. In July my family will be visiting for four-five days and I was going to put them at Mission Valley Resort Thank goodness we had the opportunity to stay there first and know that under no circumstances would I or any family member ever stay there.

The room smelled dirty.all knobs on armoire were missing,towels were not clean-wall above shower had missing plaster-room appearance was dismal at best. We were very disappointed and did not stay our second night!!!!

I did not like the dated furniture, the walls were filled with holes there was drywall showing where the fixtures were the mattress and sheets were making me itch. When I requested for extra towels and blankets the request was denied until the morning. I had to wait until 3pm to check in.

My door was ajar when I first came to the room. The paint is peeling in the bathroom. The shower curtain rod had been replaced but the original holes in the wall were not repaired. There is paint splatter on the bathroom tiles. The toilet is awkwardly close to the toilet paper dispenser. The bathroom mirror has long since de-silvered. The alarm clock doesn't work. The bedspread was worn and shredded. There was a burn/moth hole in the blanket. The grass outside my room hadn't been mowed in three weeks. The walls in the room are dirty. The electric wall outlet to the left of the TV won't hold a plug.

The bathroom facilities were not nearly up to par - old - need remodeling - stains in the tub - etc., the tv's need desperately to be upgraded to flat screens!

The rooms have deteriorated and the staff does not care. Toilet seat was chipped and scratched. Shower bar was coming loose out of wall. There was a hole in the bathroom door the size of my fist. One of the chairs was broken. There are scuff marks all along the walls where people's luggage has bumped up against the wall. The pillows were lumpy and flat and old. I complained and got moved to a separate room and although it didn't have a hole in the bathroom door, one of the chairs was still broken and the bathroom was still dated, old, and not maintained. Part of the door-jam was missing. Clearly, they do not spend any money on up-keep. The photos posted on the website were clearly taken a long time ago when the place probably was new. False advertising for sure. There are two rows of motels next to the swimming pool that are "premium" rooms, which I got the impression they were nicer and more taken-care of. I would never stay there again.

Room was dirty, coffee maker with no cups, Kleenex dispenser with no Kleenex, window was open with no screen, water stains on wall and ceiling, light at the door did not work, wall mirror laying on the bed, no washcloths, simply unacceptable accommodations!
