When I arrived to check in they asked me for a $200 deposit I told them I booked with Booking.com and a deposit was not required I asked to speak to the manager and she told me I still had to pay the deposit and to call booking.com I was upset because I took a certain amount to spen in San Diego and had to pay the deposit. Also we had trouble with the TV a black box kept popping up on the screen and they had people returning from the bard were making loud screaming noise outside are front door drunk for about an hour and a half and noone came to tell them to be quiet.
The location close to Old San Diego
That the restaurant wasn't open in the afternoon.
Overall great value!
when we first arrived and entered our room someone had used the restroom and didn't flush... so we were grossed out. Not sure on how clean it was.. and shower just dripped water out..
staff was friendly,
Ancient tv. Instead of weather stepping on the door there was a strip of duct tape.
The only thing I didn't like was the places to eat were a little pricey and closed for lunch on the weekends.
Clean and the staff very nice. I was able to check in earlier than the 4:00 check in time. I was only there for 1 day and night. It was quiet, I couldn't hear anything from the neighboring rooms. For a short stay, it was perfect for my needs.
Well paying $160 for 1 night only I thought it was to expensive the hotel looks nice from the outside but the actual room really need to b updated restroom door would lock they don't have plasma TV they still have the old ones the paint is chipping all over the place the bathtub was not welcoming to take a bath they really need to re model. I would not be staying here again until is fully renovated. If I would come back I'm willing to pay no more than $40 per night in the current status.
The room needs to be updated, badly. We were out most of the day and disappointed when we got back to the room at 3:30 in the afternoon to find that it had not been clean yet. We were getting dressed for dinner downtown when the housekeeper should up at the door at almost 4.
I appreciated the proximity to Mission Beach. And the choices of restaurants all within walking distance. Beds in the room were comfortable.
The t.v. had poor reception and limited channels. The shower lacked pressure. The menus at the restaurants there and nearby looked like Denny's.
I liked the heated pool and cabanas. The a.c. was sufficient. It also blocked out highway traffic noise. There is a convenience store next door and drinking options.
Maintenance of Pool and Spa area was quite poor. Spa water was not clear and bottom of Spa quite dirty. Attention to details appears to be lacking.
Location, location, location with a friendly and responsive staff. Good sized double queen room. Very nice sized heated pool!
There are better places in San Diego to stay ! Bathroom really old
We were charged $1.50 a night for the use of the safe in the room. We were not able to even open the safe. The carpets were filthy. The security guard kept standing outside our window having very loud conversations during the night even after we expressed our displeasure. People smoking outside the units including the security guard. Couldn't leave the air conditioning on over night vibrated the walls so noisy.
Close to supermarket mall and anything you require short taxi into town
People smoking in all the passageway
We did not like the faucet. It was difficult to turn on the water
They knock the door at 11:30 cuz u have to do check out at 12:00
Everything is good in general. The beds are good & clean, the staff are understanding.
Receptionist had some problems programming our key cards which left me stood in the car park in my bikini. After three trips to reception (and 6 cards) we finally got into the pool enclosure. It is exactly as it looks in the pics - well except for the layer of dead flies on the top and that it is definitely not heated.
Clean rooms. Located on hotel circle. Easy parking. Good shower. Great value for money.
We were charged to use the business center computer to check are gmail account, and it wouldn't allow you to check gmail. No refund.
Beds were comfortable.
This is the second time we've stayed in this hotel. It was very economical and for what you pay its reasonable accommodations. Its not like a higher end room that would cost double, the bathroom door was flimsy the beds not the best, tv was old but worked. Like i said its reasonable, staff was friendly, room was clean and it was affordable.
the room was what we expected considering what we paid So I would say good value for the money.
Rather noisy from some of the other patrons
Very close to major sites
rooms need to updated. sheets on bed had burn holes, carpets dirty.
The WiFi functioned wonderfully, but only about 75-80% of the time, and I was often bombarded by spam ads when I used Explorer. Chrome performed much better. All in all though there was enough connectivity for me.
Location, parking, ease of driving essentially any where via I-8, I-5 and 163, hot tub, on-site laundry, free WiFi
Horrible shower...water would either freeze you or burn you. Water pressure was awful. Could hear everything from outside. The room we had needs updated bad. Scratches and chunks were missing from the wood door in the bathroom and the end table.
The location was a good location.
We didn't have hair conditioner
everything ele, tattered carpets, wide open gap under the entry door - gap of about 3 inches, all bugs could enter, the heat and cold or anything else. Window in the bathroom was large enough for someone to enter and not secure. Carpets were filthy. Would not stay again. Party at the hot tub with a huge hooka stand of about 3 foot tall with everyone using it out in the open in front of the children with loug obscene music.
Pool area; cushion lounge chairs
