The window of the room overlooked a vacant lot.
Fast internet. Good location
Very worn furniture. Unclean and moldy room.
Reasonable price. Nice staff.
Danegerous neigborhood, poor brekfast, only sweet cakes. I wouldn't come back there again
Ok for price.
breakfast to go
We got rooms with private bathrooms, which also included a huge piece of furniture blocking the window, just to say the room has a TV (as old as the building). It also included breakfast, which consisted of burnt coffee and mini muffins, all "served" on a tiny table next to the elevator. There is no place to stand at the reception, and no option for two beds. They wanted to charge us for a rollout bed if we did not want to share a full sized bed.... This hotel is overpriced and needs to be updated.
Ok if you look for a fair place to sleep in excellent location, but hotel offers no comfort and is kind if shabby
laundry and supermarket next door. close to cable car in California St. obviously have upgraded in the last year. breakfast was just served at a cart near reception but was ok rooms were serviced daily old fashioned lift
was not worth the money however.
We arrived early, way before check in and the hotel was able to get us into a room. Quiet neighborhood. Convenient market a couple doors down.
I think there was blood on the shower curtain. They seemed a bit bothered by me asking for a 30 min late check out.
room was clean and well presented and cleaned daily. has fridge and microwave with supermarket and laundry next door. it is close to cable car with easy access to fisherman's wharf by changing cable cars at Powell street.
the fan and light are controlled by the one switch. the bedside light was difficult to turn off tv was too old and some stations not working
very quaint, and quiet room with good wifi acccess
Staff very helpful, good location, great wifi
Location is good, but this is a tourist trap, read below:
After 4 times in SF this was definitely the worst accommodation I've had. I had to sleep in a bunk bed. They didn't make my bed any day. Room was tiny and sark didn't have a table to sit down as shown in pictures, furniture was ancient. Breakfast consists of mini muffins and pastries, only one type of each, and coffee/tea. There isn't even milk. My suggestion is, if you're.on a budget, save your money and go for a hostel. You might have to sleep in a bunk bed too but at least you'll get full breakfast and a kitchen, nice staff and a beautiful room with plenty of light.
2 people from the staff where very nice
- when i arrived the first thing i did was washing the bed sheets myself, there where pubic hairs and other dirt on it and it looked not cleaned - lots of people made noise until 1-2 am - drug abusing people there - for this price it is possible to get a much better place in san francisco
This Hotel was not clean. I did not se any staff. Brekfast was poor.
Helpful staff. Good location
Distance from room to shared bathroom which was ok but a bit run down
The staff was friendly, but they told us that parking on the streets around the hotel was for free, we did it and got a ticket for illegal parking. This is not very reliable.
Very simple hotel, at a great location. The room was small, with not much space for our luggage, but clean. The 'breakfast' consists of muffins and a coffee machine in the hallway.
The room have a smell to it and the carpet was still abit wet and sticky so I have to leave my shoes on all the time. The generator kept us awake, no aircon or fan and the TV got this huge 'hmmm' noises coming out of it that hurt our ears. I cannot believe this is a 3 stars hotel. The neighbourhood is quite scary. I would prefer to spent a little more to get better comfort.
No garbage bin. No coffee maker in the room. No daily clean-up of the room. No room service. Broken chairs. The entire hotel was so smelly, including the manual elevator. It is a shame to have like that hotel, in the middle of the city. It is expensive for what it is worth. road side motels are much much better than this hotel. Cheap quality breakfast, in 1 square foot space. very tiny soap in wash room. toilet seat is so nasty. No maintenance at all. lot of spiderwebs on the back of the bed, which I saw by accident, as I lost my ear stud and was searching for it. The worst experience we ever had. As we had lots of luggage and traveling international, we had to stay there 4 days. It is not worth at all. They better upgrade it, renovate it, remodel it, provide proper things to guests. cheating the tourists.
Good location for price and convenient to cheap parking.
Very basic but clean and comfortable.
Staff were very friendly. Location is great.
Well, where do I start! We were booked for 2 nights. When we first got there they told us the bathroom light didn't work and they would fix it the next day. They'd set up a temporary one. We said that would do for our stay and please to not have people come into our room while we weren't there, to fix it after we checked out. Also I put the do not disturb sign as an extra - we got back to find they had come in and fixed the light. The radiator was broken so we couldn't turn it off. It was very hot and on the floor - they knew we had a 1 year old with us... We had to block off that area of the room ourselves! The first night we found water all over the bathroom floor and toilet we thought it must be from wet towels, but the next night we saw water dripping from the center of the newly fixed light!!! The floor above was leaking! The front desk person came and was apologizing and trying to fix it at 11pm!!! Also she went upstairs and knocked on the door above to tell them not to use their shower. Also the wardrobe door wouldn't close so my son kept trying to open and close it jamming his fingers, we had to come up with a baby proof solution ourselves again. Finally the inside of the drawers are splashed with red wine (I hope that's what it was). Totally disgusting... And after all of this no discount! No wonder they get the guests to pay in advance. Avoid!
Very bad hotel. Recommended nothing. Does not correspond to the pictures entered. The blankets are broken .Very dirty all. Very poor facilities. The treatment of very bad business. No heating links......
