As a repeat customer, we enjoy staying on the top floor, away from lots of noise. Also the close walk to most shopping areas and great food places.

    Road closure....

    The Miyako was immaculately clean

The bed was too hard for me and the cabinets and closet doors in my room needed some maintenance

Location is good.Hotel is silent in general.

It was a nice, clean, and comfortable hotel. Staff was nice, and they were helpful.

The shower can be a little confusing to turn on. Had to call to get it on.

I was with my 94 year old mother in law, and she told me, after we checked in to the Miyako Hotel, that that was where she spent her wedding night...74 years ago! It was an ideal choice for her: she could walk to the nearest Japanese shops and restaurants; the restaurant in the hotel serves excellent Japanese food; the staff provided great service.

That we only spent 2 nights there!

Nice room and helpful staffs. There are famous ramen restaurant nearby hotel.

It's LA Downtown so it's a bit awful at night. Homeless is everywhere.

stay in LA downtown wasn't a wise choice until I found this hotel. it's super value for money for such a clean, neat, comfortable hotel. right beside the little tokyo mall. better parking in the mall since it's much cheaper and it's even cheaper during weekend.

This hotel is located right next to Japan Village Plaza, where there are many Japanese restaurants and nice little shops. Guest rooms are simple but very clean.

Right in the middle of Little Tokyo, with excellent restaurants within 15 seconds of leaving the hotel, as well as the Japanese shopping area / mall about 2 minutes walk away. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also pretty close (40 minutes walk?) from downtown L.A., which is bonus. Beds were very comfortable as well. Not the worlds greatest bargain, but I definitely didn't feel done in by the price, all things considered.

Convenient location (but don't stray too far away), very clean and reasonably priced.

Some (but not all) of the staff were unhelpful. There are some very undesirable blocks very nearby. Also, there was a very loud noise coming from what seemed like a generator in our room. Thankfully we had earplugs.

    Liked being in Japan Town.

The breakfast layout was poor and WAY OVERPRICED at $23 by the time the included tip was thrown in. The food quality was ho hum. Parking is always a problem in Downtown. Room was acceptable .. just.

Loved the big comfy beds and spacious rooms. It was quiet in the evenings and mornings. Enjoyed using the spa facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location (especially for E3). Probably a 5-10 min cab ride to E3 (just a bit too far for walking). Very clean hotel and rooms, comfy bed. Friendly staff and great bar/restaurant opposite. Would definitely stay here again.

There was a breakfast, but not to my liking - food didn't seem very fresh and limited choice from what I saw. Shower was a bit broken, but it did work!

Very good located. Very friendly personnel. It is clean.

Open buffett breakfast for 22 USD was a bit too expensive but there is Starbucks close to the hotel.
