Spa and Breakfast!
Convenient location. Great staff.
The valet parking was excellent value. The neighborhood had many choices and fun shops.
This hotel is in Little Tokyo which is a much more interesting neighborhood than right downtown which I find sterile. But it's also very close to downtown. There are many good Asian restaurants and interesting shops. The hotel is clean, comfortable. The lobby is merely functional, but the rooms are lovely, well-appointed, well-kept. The wi-fi is better than in many hotels I've stayed in in LA.
The buffet breakfast is expensive, but it's worth it if you're really hungry or are having brunch there.
Free wi-fi Funky japanese electronic toilet Architecture and style of the building
Japanese staff seemed to give preference to Japanese customers, for example I was first in the queue at the coffee shop and the barista started serving Japanese visitors at the back of the queue before me! Felt it was a bit overpriced for what I got, considering not even breakfast was included.
*part of town - Japan Town is great, also very close to highway * nice, authentic Japanese food
Problems with changing channels tv
great location(Little Tokyo). Great faculty.
No water boiler.
A very comfortable bed
Bed was very comfortable. No noise from adjacent rooms.the hotel location is only 10 minutes walk from Los Angeles Union station and only a few minutes walk from the Metro stop. Lots of Japanese restaurants around the hotel.
Room showing a little wear on edges of furniture and bathroom a little dated but clean. However the built in bidet in the toilet certainly caught our attention which I suppose if very much Japanese gadget.
Centralization location to J town
My short stay
Good food nearby (just across street), near to Union station and other subway stations. Direct bus to Santa Monica pier too.
Staff willingness and readiness to help, convenience location to food, shops, and highway; comfort beds; shower with air pressure is interesting and cool. Mint shampoo is great!
No double queen rooms. Only king or 2 double beds available; Bathtub is not as deep as those in real Japanese hotels; pricy breakfast for $23.
Relatively safe location. It's close to Little Tokyo so it's pretty easy to get food.
The WiFi is ridiculously slow. More than that, it even inserts ADs on my webpage, which is ridiculous.
small restaurant. Few breakfast options. Narrow hallways. Room was quite worn. Needed remodeling. Everything looks dated. Certainly too expensive for what you got.
Helpful staff, very nice facilities. In the heart of Little Tokoyo
The rooms are great extremely comfortable with a huge bed, climate controlled toilet and a big room. The karaoke bar is awsome, the restaurant is also very good. It was a great stay!!
10 blocks to the south it is not a very nice area of LA. If you stay to the north and west you have the entire downtown with great bars and places to visit.
the facilities are really bad and lots of noise.
Super clean room with friendly helpful staff who helped me get my things printed even when the lobby printer was kaput, so they printed it from their desk for me!
A bit pricey but worth it!
The bed was so comfortable! Beautiful big mirror in the bathroom which was very well lit Was close to the Metro line to train straight into Hollywood, Universal etc which was fantastic!
The room got quite hot and when checking in later during the evening having loud air conditioning on as you went to sleep wasn't the best situation.
Close to Union Station. Clean and quiet room.
Very comfortable room, quiet. Nice bar, although the entertainment is all in Japanese. Great happy hour.
Free wifi & proximity to Union Station
Limited breakfast options
Staff was friendly. The distance to restaurants and museum was perfect--not even half a block! Free Wi Fi. Self parking in the Little Tokyo Garage was reasonable ($8/day). Bidet in bathroom.
Rooms were a little dingy, could benefit from a refresh paint job.
