Very comfy, high-standard hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I like the spa facility there, as a guest, you will have free use of their Japanese bathing facility, so don't miss that. It's located in the centre of Japan town, a lot of nice Japanese restaurants and shops just 1 min walk away. If you like Jazz, there are a lot of nice theatre/pubs close by, where you can find nice Jazz performances.

Location next to the shopping mall is great being within walking distance. The rates were good. The lack of attention to details. Our room didn't have towels and only one tiny little bar of soap. The basket under the sink needs to be replaced due to rough sticky edges that scratched my leg as I went by. The paper doors in front of the sliding glass door make noise if the door is only partly open. Very annoying. The shower on the outside of the bath didn't have any pressure.

Japanese style and screen on window is charming and sets a nice mood. Hotel is quiet and serene and generally very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. An overall nice experience. Everything is pretty great except the price was a bit high when we were there - for what you get. Hotel Kabuki presents itself as a stylish slightly luxurious hotel but in the end is more basic than it seems. The interior of the room is a bit more shabby than it looks in photos. Could use a remodel and bed linens are not super fancy. Comforter is thin and lightweight. But these are only complaints because the price was far too high, more like luxury hotel prices for a kind of mediocre fair hotel.

The young woman who checked us in was just terrific- sorry I don't remember her name. :( I booked a suite with in room sauna and Japanese soaking tub. After being on the road for more than a month with two kids, the room was a delight. Large, comfortable, beautifully appointed and the freedom to each enjoy a relaxing spa experience. The convience to great sushi was an added plus! I have already recommended it to many of my friends and look forward to returning with my husband! The overnite parking rate of $45.00 through the hotel is outrageous, even by SanFransisco standards.

The location. It is in japan town near many shopping stores and restaurants! If you park in the garage, max. Daily is (I believe) $23. Which is nice if you are staying in one place for the day. Nothing that I can think of. Room 1102 is very clean and has a great view of the city.

It was clean and secure, close to where I needed to be, lots of shopping and restaurant choices. Staff was very nice, helpful, yet not intrusive. I'd definitely stay there again. The whirlpool soaking tub didn't work (the jets didn't "jet"), so I soaked. The Ipod dock didn't work either. There were a few things in the room that needed attention. I booked it at a great rate, had I paid full price, the broken items would have bothered me. As it was, the rate made up for the few broke things.

We were traveling with our two adult children and rented two rooms. Our room was clean, quiet and nice. The location was great. The tub was a nice soaking tub. I loved the screens instead of curtains. The bed was very comfortable. The other room my children stayed in was clean. There were dogs next door (in 508) that were crying all night. When the people came home, they were drunk, loud, and obnoxious. We heard your staff come several times, but they continued through the night and into the morning. My son and daughter got no sleep at all. By the time the people in the next door room quieted down, it was time to get up anyway. That experience was awful, and they should have been kicked out. I know my children were not the only ones who complained, and it went on for several hours. I'm sorry for the burden on you, but we felt it wasn't handled very well.

I loved the japanese decor and bathroom, including tub. The green features (energy efficient), as well as smart design and good use of space were nice. Furniture was very comfortable as well. The location was ideal for going to Yoshis jazz club in the adjustment fillmore district, walking distance.
