Score from 14 reviews Exceptional
great stay in November. Friendly staff. Nice rooms with a good continental breakfast. We had our labrador with us and the staff treated our dog as if he belonged here. Not always the case when you travel with a pet. Awesome location. We will definitely return this summer
Location, just across a nice little park from downtown Aspen.
Advertised as a suite, we were crowded with a party of three (two adult, one tween), really a regular hotel room with a pull out couch and a hot tub packed in tightly.
I really like to living here. Everything are very beautiful.
We loved the room! It was perfect for our anniversary trip. Erin and Patrick provided excellent guest service.
Breakfast was very nice, lots of choices. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. The multiple hot tub options were nice so you don't get stuck in a tub with strangers most of the time. Fireplace in the deluxe room was the highlight of our trip.
The bathroom was very dated looking and calling the mattress "firm" would be an understatement. Also, the pillows deflated as soon as you put your head on them.
Double queen size bed room does not provide any space for social contacts order sitting together. Breakfast room is in a mass and offered Breakfast utilities Live fork, knife, plates etc. had been sticky and not well kleened. One to night Sirene was extremely disturbed by supply trucks offloading their supplies in the milde of the night and just below room window with running engine.
Great location, breakfast included(apres ski too, in the winter)pet friendly, multiple hot tubs and a warm pool, complimentary bikes.
walking distance, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, clean room.
very small bathroom
very good value for money in an atmospheric lodge very conveniently located near centre of town
Everything except the parking
Not having a parking lot. Having to park on the street.
Staff was friendly. Room was clean & we had a nice room on the end of the 2nd floor. Fireplace was nice.
Great breakfast buffet
Excellent location! Walking distance to all Aspen shops and restaurants.
Unfortunately the room did not at all reach my expectations. I booked the Deluxe room because it looked amazing and had certain amenities that I thought would be worth the extra money - unfortunately that was not the case. The room was a sweltering 80+ degrees and the AC was broken and couldn't be fixed according to the front desk. Ok.. So I tried opening the windows but the screens left a large gap between being fully closed and reaching the window pane. As the room was street level I didn't feel comfortable leaving it open and unlocked. Additionally the in-room Upon leaving the hotel I was promised a full refund however two emails later, I still have not received a response from the Lodge. I'm extremely disappointed. Perhaps the regular rooms are nice but the Deluxe room was certainly not worth the price and the care to room was clearly neglected.
Liked the location, the free breakfast, the friendly, helpful staff, the very nice pool and hot tub set up, the clean, comfortable rooms, and the cozy feeling of the place.
The rooms were a little small, but adequate. The place is a little worn, but not really an issue since the place is really cozy.
Our room was in the basement It was large. It served our purpose. Breakfast was typical and ok. For aspen was fairly priced.
Being in the underground room.
Location. Service of staff. Breakfast choices very good. We had a room overlooking a courtyard. Very cozy.
Hallways seemed a bit dark.
The location The staff was gracious, informative, friendly. The breakfast and the robes Overall pleasant experience. Thanks
The stairs to the second floor were challenging. I will make sure I ask for a first floor room. I would have liked a curtain for more privacy before the sink and vanity area
the room was on the ground floor with a single window facing the alley, so could not get any sunlight as it would mean getting all by-passers' eyelight as well
Good facilities and amenities. Especially, enjoyed pool and hot tub. Plentiful breakfast included. Only 10 mile drive to Maroon Bells beauty and hikes.
Not told by hotel how close we would be to all the noise of the USA Pro-Challenge bike race which started less than a block from hotel.
the "matchbox of a room" unlike what we had last yr. Rm. 226 did not meet our expectations.
Stairs in apartment to bathroom
Location is good--on Main Street
Unfortunately, Main Street is somewhat noisy. Air conditioning was old and noisy. Shower did not work. Lighting was poor.
Locals special off season rates. Proximity to downtown.
Tile falling off in hot tub.
Spacious rooms and central location- walking distance to shops and restaurants. A great value for aspen lodging. Enjoyed the comfort and ease.
Location right on the Main Street was a bit noisy. Some of the staff were not well informed. The breakfast was not good. It looks better in the pictures.
