Portland is such a bike friendly city. It was great that the hotel had loaner bikes for their guests to use. We spent two days in Portland and used the bikes both days to completely explore the city.
Almost averything was fine and staff was very helpfull and kind .
No breakfast included .
I liked the service from staff. the furniture was comfortable, and the sheets were lovely. the adjoining restaurant was a treat and we dined there most days for our stay.it was comfortable and just what we needed for our trip.
I cannot think of an item. Sorry but you are doing a great job of caring for quests.
Pet friendly. Happy hour in the afternoon and coffee bar in the morning. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Location was great.
Room was pretty small for the price. Called housekeeping late one night to ask for a few extra teabags for the coffee bar and was told we had to pay for them as in room service rates. Happy hour was popular but also crowded and as a result they ran out of stuff quickly.
The beds - the comfiest I've ever stayed in! Pillows, bedspread, everything was SO comfy! Cute little stuffed animal puppy on the bed to greet us. GREAT location!
The "Hydration Station" in the lobby were not kept full at all times, which was a little disappointing. Bell Boy did not help us with our luggage from the carport to our rooms, but still expected a tip. Honestly, all that could be overlooked for the amazing comfort of the rooms and lobby!
staff were excellent w the exception of a night shift receptionist who just seemed flakey. my room was spotless. comfy bed... valet guys were awesome..Collin rocked it! the lobby is pretty rad, loved the decor of the room!
there was a semi- used teddy bear on my bed!..i got a king suite...odd and kinda creepy..seems like he's been there for a while...I dont think Anybody wants a teddy bear on their bed!..i hid him in the corner.. Windows dont open.. there was a "burning smell" in front of the elevators
Robes, honor bar, wifi, comfortable bed, yoga mat in closet.
Fitness center was way above expectations. The effort put towards the MLS AllStar game was awesome. Staff were always welcoming and remembered you when you came and went.
Friendly staff, quiet rooms
Charge for wifi but had free city wifi reception!
The staff was nice and inviting, the lobby and room was clean and elegant, dog friendly.
We were given the wrong room and we caught this after we had already packed everything up to the room (We had dogs with us and were put on the Hypoallergenic Floor, we caught the sign stating this while we were waiting for the elevator to go out). When we told the desk clerk she thanked us and said she would have got in a lot of trouble if this wasn't caught and she said she would put us into the "SAME" room on a different floor but it wasn't. The room itself was smaller and the bathroom was half the size of the one we originally were put in. Besides that we decided to pay more money and stay here because it has A/C, that night it was hard to sleep because it was pretty warm in the room even with the A/C turned on and all the way down.
Staff was excellent
Very well Trainned personal, decoration, dogs friendly,
We were traveling with two large dogs, and this hotel is extremely pet friendly!
The dog beds provided were more like "dog blankets", but fortunately we were traveling with our own dog beds. The entrance/exit to the below-ground parking was really difficult to navigate in a minivan.
we liked the kitchy atmosphere
the entire hotel appeared to be in need of an up-dating.
Location was near main attractions. Staff very attentive.
Coffee maker was in bathroom Next to sink which is unhygienic. Very commercial with toy for sale on bed and expensive goodies displayed on table. No container outside for cigarette buts.
Overall, very well done. The staff actually knew what they were doing. The connected Red Star Rest/Bar was terrific and convenient. SGE
Not one thing. SGE
Beautiful ecclectic decor
Love Kimpton properties, they're all nice & a bit different. Staff is always great.
The price is always a little more than I'd like to pay, but it's a nicer hotel, and we don't travel that often, so we deal with it. Hotel parking is a total rip off though - $38 night - more than twice what it would be to use another nearby garage.
the staff was amazingly helpful
This is a fantastic hotel. The staff was great, and I love the design of the hotel and the location. Our experience was truly memorable, we look foward to going back.
We liked the staff, especially Charlotte who was very helpful and understanding and made sure that our stay was worth the time and money. Having the restaurant in the same building for breakfast, lunch or dinner was also a big plus.
Being used to hotel valets taking your keys outside the hotel and parking your car, it was a little awkward not knowing where to drop my car off at. Having missed the very small entrance driveway, it took me a half hour to finally find my way back to the front of the hotel and to re-inquire about where to take my car to. That really isn't a valet service in the true sense.
Decoration, staff, location
The service and nice room
I had a suite, it was great. The space/size of the room was good and I liked the eclectic furnishings, which were also very comfortable.
The bathtub could use an overall upgrade. The "city" view is NOT a city view, it's a view of a building.
Staff at front desk and concierge were excellent.Conciege recommended a tour. The guide and tour was excellent. He went out of his way to show me as much as possible... Great experience!!
My room was poorly cleaned. Bed poorly made, I had to fix it each time. The bathroom was not cleaned and organized well.
