I like how it wasn't super touristy. Clean and quiet
I loved the 'secluded' location off of a short side street. The entrance was amazing, and contributed to the feel of a rare experience. I encountered outstanding service across the board. Most notably, Gary and David in the bar gave me one of the best dining experiences I've had in NYC. The quality of food was great, but it was the overall care and attention, and assistance making great choices that elevated it to something special. Will stay here again, both business and leisure.
My room was also unique in its noise level. All hotels in Manhattan have a good bit of noise at night... it just is what it will be. But this particular backing street seemed to be a hub for screaming, slamming doors and dropping cans. If I had brought a pair of earplugs, we wouldn't even be sharing these words. I generally just overcome and adapt on stuff like this.
I liked the location, the aliveness of the lobby.
I didn't like that we couldn't get connected to internet even though we asked for help never got resolved. Concierge is busy with lots of guests
Excellent hotel And facilities Great location and there was a great vib throughtout
The location is perfect. Staff is really service minded and nice. Cool hotel, and in the evening it is like a hotel and a fancy night club. It is perfect for couple and friends. I am definitely staying here next time I am going to NY!
Location is very good for soho / east village, great stores and restaurants
At a hotel that charges $300+ a night, why charge $14.95 a day for internet access. Internet is like a phone or a tv in the room, everyone needs it and it's time it was part of the deal.
Location is perfect. Staff very professional and helpful ,bar and restaurant very fashion and frequented by fashion and young people. Very closed to shopping and dining places.
location, first impressions upon arrival. value for money.
tea/coffee facilities in room.
Bathroom tiles in shower area were not clean looked moldy.
Beautiful Rooms - small but nicely decorated. Gorgeous Views Great Location - great shopping, restaurants and brunch places.
The club upstairs made my bed shake until 1am. The music was so loud. Besides the cleaning staff - no one says good morning, hello, smiles, etc. I have stayed in many hotels in that area, with far friendlier service. As a guest staying there for 9 nights you'd think I'd be able to get into the club with a couple of friends. We were dressed for a night out. Experience and dinner, with the waiter making us wait continuously. Asking for a round of drinks and 45 minutes later - nothing. No mention of it either.
Great location for getting around NYC-Soho is a great spot with fantastic options for food and drink and great shopping!
I lived the position and outlay of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Small rooms but adequate in every detail. Wonderful garden restaurant and excellent rooftop bar with breathtaking views. If you like to walk the neighborhoods, and we did, Brooklyn, China, Italy, Village, Chelsea, lower East, and of course Soho, perfect. Staff young, bright, knowledgeable, polite and helpful! We loved our stay!
Elevator service needs a little tweaking!
Loved the location and the buzz at the hotel. We had a suite, small but adequate. We were abit alarmed to find a floor to ceiling window in the shower and although assured it was one way it was alittle disconcerting.
Being well seasoned travellers to NYC we wanted to stay downtown this time and knew prices would be steeper, you pay for trendy. Thought that although the hotel was nice the price was alittle high for what you got.
the garden area
the shower grout needs to be cleaned really dirty and didnt like facing east the sun comes up to early and the blinds dont block it out
The view is amazing from 24th floor. Cut glass drinking glasses in the bedroom.
Rooms very small. Staff not particularly friendly. Terrible service in the bar.
food quality and style.
charge for wifi.
The location, price and the whole thing about hotel experience
Great bar and restaurant. Service was outstanding v
Overall design was great.
The AC didn't work well in our room and we woke up sweating.
Very convenient location to explore Manhattan, closed to the subway. The Italian restaurant is good (i'm Italian!) and fashionable. We got WI-FI for free because we remained there 6 overnights. The view from the rooms is nice. We enjoyed from our room the 4th of July fireworks. The rooms and the whole hotel has a great design. Everything very new. Very clean!
The bathroom is incredibly small (apart a big shower) and doesn't give a lot of privacy. The rooms are very small but for Manhattan this is quite normal. It's a pity that they do not have a SPA.
ambiance top especially the restaurant
the room rather small and a very badly placed airco = unavoidable cold!
The location was phenomenal. The rooftop bar was a great spot for daytime. The room and decor were beautiful.
The room was a little dated. It's loud as hell in that part of SoHo.
I thought this was a great hotel. It is hidden on a quiet street but centered between SOHO and Nolita so great walking distance to many things. Decor was pretty 'hip'. They did a nice job for rooms being so small.
Rooms very small, but nothing new for NYC.
