Style design and location
Not guest friendly. Hotel gives emphasis to Bar/Restaurant located in the ground floor while the check in lobby in located in a tiny space on the 2nd floor. Hotel wants to be trendy but gives little value back if you are traveling with family.OK if for business
They lost their liquor license and where not serving alcohol anywhere in the Hotel. I book a room so I can have a night out with my wife and have dinner at the restaurant of the hotel. But we ended going out in the rain because the hotel was empty since there were not serving alcohol. They should have mentioned that on their website before people book rooms....
Clean, comfortable beds and friendly staff
I was very disappointed to discover that you lost your liquor license as your fabulous bar and restaurant are a big draw for me and my children who live in Soho.. I wish i had been told when I reserved...
Location and comfort, I have booked in the past and am a return guest
sound proof could be better. certain things need maintenance as the hotel ages.
comfy beds. good ambience. great views.
Unmarked employes at valet. Window unlocked in room. Very dark hallways. Hard to get a regular cab if not an Uber user.
Pleasantly greeted at front desk. Free upgrade to a larger suite. Cool room and view.
The hotel lost its liquor license so restaurant and bar were dry - completely unacceptable for this type of hotel.
We were not informed that the hotels Liquor license had been revoked.
There was some misunderstanding with the booking, and we didn't get the same room or prize as our reservation at booking.com. The staff was not very happy or eager to fix this. The Hotel had temporarily lost their alcohol license and had no alcohol in the restaurant. The bar was closed. Continental breakfast was boring and the coffee included tasted like water. We had to buy americano from the menu every day. Be sure to check the bill when checking out. They'd put on a few extra charges every day, despite the fact that we had not order any of this.
Great location, trendy with great style, cleaning was good, nice view from standard double room on 23th floor.
Small room, very noisy heating system. Form over function design everywhere, meaning waste of space, no place to sit or place stuff. Lobby and elevators too dark.
Isola was at its worst as was room service food
Location, decor and cleanliness
Lacked atmosphere in Bar/Dining/Lobby areas. Seemed to have an issue with a change in management and lack of a liquor license, which i'm sure will be sorted in time.
Room, staff and location exceptional
My room and the views. The location and friendly staff.
Disappointed that they didn't have free wifi. The only place on our trip that didn't! !
Bathroom could have been a smidge bigger. Other than that fantastic.
Location was great.
Wifi should be free at a hotel of this callibre
Beautiful decor , rooms have a lot of natural light, unlike most in new york. Excellent bathroom facilities too
concierge starts at 11am by which time most people are already out of the hotel. room service finishes at 11pm and they won't even bring you a pot of hot water after that.
the location was very good
Amazing view, ask for a room in a high floor, I had a 180 view of Manhattan in center of was the empire state building. The location is grate for those of you who want a quiet sleep after a day at the city. About 15 minutes' walk to Times Square. I stayed at the deluxe room, which was grate for a lone traveler, a bit small for couples.
I couldn't really get past my first impression of this hotel...which was that it isn't very guest-centic (odd for a five-star property). There is limited signage outside and when I walked in there was no one to greet/direct me. I wandered around a couple corners on my own and eventually found the elevators which took me up to a lobby/front desk area. Here there was one agent and a line of three guests...a bit of a long wait after a long flight and commute.
I LOVE the room decor and general design of the public spaces at this hotel. The location is convenient to many restaurants and also a 24hr drugstore I ended up unexpectedly needing.
Size Of the room tooo little
The night atmosphere
No one to welcome me when I arrived, no one to take my luggage and no one to point me in the direction of the reception. Last thing you want after getting off a long flight..
Great minibar. Loved the crystal glasses.
Love the hotel
Great location, and very comfy rooms.
Room, any stranger can enter the elevator and walk on the floors, bathrooms are hideous. Service is the worst.
Only the location
Taxis hard to find in the area.
Cool, clean and comfortable with really nice helpful staff.
