Amazing views. Clean well appointed room. Great location.
It is pricey but worth it
Location is amazing, the staff are very nice and friendly. Great food
Walls are paper thin. I could hear everything in the connceting room, kept on waking up in the middle of the night because of the noise from the hotel and from the street. There are only very basic amenities (soap and shampoo only) and towels did not smell very clean.
Restaurant / Bar area Location
Room small. Could not find a bellman when I needed one. There was no designated place to find them. I had a car - getting it back was never straightforward, and both times, despite telling me they'd let me know when it was available, I had to go looking after 45 mins.
Staff attitude was terrible. Shower leaked water all over the floor. Mattress was lumpy.
Appearance/decor of hotel was great. Location was good. Staff was wonderful.
Stained carpets in room. Carpets in hallways needed a vuccum.
Great atmosphere. Nice room. Loved the restaurant. Staff very nice. Loved it
The hotel is located in a great area and is a great place to see beautiful people. The bar and restaurant are stylish and serve wonderful food - some of this food is also available for room service.
no pool or hottub but there is a small workout room. no business office but the hotel stay will print out emails for you.
I like how it wasn't super touristy. Clean and quiet
The location, the restaurant, the rooms. I loved this hotel - it gave us such a great Soho experience. Steps to Little China and to Little Italy. We walked a lot and loved it. It was not cheap - but I feel it was worth it.
There was a clogged toilet and no tp on the restaurant level washrooms on our last day - seemed like there had been no one there to freshen the facilities after the night before. It was that way at 9am but still at 2pm.
I loved the 'secluded' location off of a short side street. The entrance was amazing, and contributed to the feel of a rare experience. I encountered outstanding service across the board. Most notably, Gary and David in the bar gave me one of the best dining experiences I've had in NYC. The quality of food was great, but it was the overall care and attention, and assistance making great choices that elevated it to something special. Will stay here again, both business and leisure.
My room was also unique in its noise level. All hotels in Manhattan have a good bit of noise at night... it just is what it will be. But this particular backing street seemed to be a hub for screaming, slamming doors and dropping cans. If I had brought a pair of earplugs, we wouldn't even be sharing these words. I generally just overcome and adapt on stuff like this.
I liked the location, the aliveness of the lobby.
I didn't like that we couldn't get connected to internet even though we asked for help never got resolved. Concierge is busy with lots of guests
I loved the location and room was cosy and clean. However the room was misleading, as it was very small. They had a good selection of tv channels, and the hotel had a nice vibe to it, it was nice coming back at night, very quiet and the staff were nice.
The room was misleading as it was very small, the bathroom is not all in one- the sink is in the room which I found strange. They are also cheap with extras such as complimentary water or Internet. They were all extra charges which shocked me as it's a 5 star hotel. The concierge was barely at the desk, they had a lot of breaks.
The hotel is in a very nice position in soho. We enjoy our stay and the quality of the hotel.
Unfortunatly in this period due to works on the Grand street is noisy. Vety high the price of the extras.
The location was really great, close to everything. Room was a bit small, but nice amenities, comfy bed and pillows and gorgeous, awesome views
The staff was not particularly nice. Everyone seemed to have an attitude....at check-in, the bartender, doormen, concierge, pretty much everyone except for the bellman. $15 for wi-fi :(
Loved the room with a view, the feel of the hotel, the color scheme & the blue mirrored wall. Loved the shower with a window to the world and the chic rooftop bar! Bonus points: Lost my credit card in the hotel and they were quick to find it for me.
Bathroom door is awkwardly positioned and the shower could use a little tlc.
Excellent hotel And facilities Great location and there was a great vib throughtout
The location is perfect. Staff is really service minded and nice. Cool hotel, and in the evening it is like a hotel and a fancy night club. It is perfect for couple and friends. I am definitely staying here next time I am going to NY!
Location is very good for soho / east village, great stores and restaurants
At a hotel that charges $300+ a night, why charge $14.95 a day for internet access. Internet is like a phone or a tv in the room, everyone needs it and it's time it was part of the deal.
Location is perfect. Staff very professional and helpful ,bar and restaurant very fashion and frequented by fashion and young people. Very closed to shopping and dining places.
location, first impressions upon arrival. value for money.
tea/coffee facilities in room.
Bathroom tiles in shower area were not clean looked moldy.
Beautiful Rooms - small but nicely decorated. Gorgeous Views Great Location - great shopping, restaurants and brunch places.
The club upstairs made my bed shake until 1am. The music was so loud. Besides the cleaning staff - no one says good morning, hello, smiles, etc. I have stayed in many hotels in that area, with far friendlier service. As a guest staying there for 9 nights you'd think I'd be able to get into the club with a couple of friends. We were dressed for a night out. Experience and dinner, with the waiter making us wait continuously. Asking for a round of drinks and 45 minutes later - nothing. No mention of it either.
Great location for getting around NYC-Soho is a great spot with fantastic options for food and drink and great shopping!
I lived the position and outlay of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
