Everything. Stay at park place. Same amount but clean oceanfront. Staff was great at parkplace
I loved the location, close to the boardwalk and the beach. Very convenient.
The mattress on the pull out sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, spring poking out everywhere. However, they did give us extra blankets for padding. But very low quality mattress.
Roof top pool and in door pool
That the hot tub was not open
staff very friendly location perfect
Having to ask for room service
Close to the beach and boardwalk
Smell of subway..parking..
All aspects of our trip were fantastic. The accommodations were great. Only had a couple staff members who seemed not interested in helping but most of the staff did a fine job.
Night time desk clerks not into their jobs. Parking was an issue with so many motorcycles in town.
The location of the hotel
The cleanliness of the room was very poor, the walls was dirty the bathroom floors wasn't clean the blanket smell dirty as if it wasn't cleaned just made the beds, pillow smelled used, the wash clothes was very dingy to be white
The hotel was comfortable, quiet and clean.
The front desk staff was rude and not very helpful
We are a young couple from Europe, we have booked a room on the internet, from photo looked very nice and of course hit the rooftop pool and the location almost Boardwalk. We booked a room with a jacuzzi. When we arrived at the place, it turned out that our room located at the rear of the building, and we didn't have a balcony. Those rooms with jacuzzi didn't have a balcony, so we hadn't beautiful view of the ocean! The room was small and very poor pool on the roof! The only one thing that we're young and we didn't care how the room looks like!
Bed and jacuzzi tub
Was not as clean as it should be and the first room they offered was about as big as a closet with no windows.
A/C was broken, Bathroom was extremely dirty, Smelled like subway because there is a Subway Store right next door. Need major updating, Hallways has peeling wall paper and the carpets throughout the hotel are about 2O years old. We needed to wear Flip flops at all times. Sheets were stained. The maid never cleaned my room so we never received clean bath towels. Did nothing to compensate us.
Rooms were nice
I thought we would be on the boardwalk and not 1/2 block off of the boardwalk.
Old decor, appliances,furniture, beds,Plumbing, etc...
The hotel itself was not noisy the rooms were very quiet BUT because we overlooked the parking lot and several trash cans, the city came to dump the trash cans every morning from 515-700am. We ask to have room changed and they would not change our room. I know they had rooms available. I gave staff a good but I feel it was more between fair and good but better than fair.
I would stay there if it was just an over night stay but not for a whole week. I would spend my money on a nicer hotel one with an ocean view even if I would have to shorten my visit. A car alarm went off ALL night in their parking lot and they said nothing they could do about it. Not sure why because you have to give your car info to them when checking in so they should have known who car belonged to. Didn't make me feel good if that was my car or if my car was damaged and hotel knew about it and would not notify me. What do they do with the car info that you give them?? Because of the trash cans being dumped so early and the car alarm issue we could not sleep with windows open..so no fresh air!
BIG TUB IN ROOM.
CAR ALARM GOING OFF ALL NIGHT EVERY 30 MIN. ( YES EVERY 30 MIN.) IN THERE PARKING LOT AND STAFF DID INFORM GUEST THERE ALARM WAS GOING OFF. SO NO SEE. NO ICE ENLESS YOU WANT TO BUY iCE . INDOOR POOL STUNK ,DIRTY VERY BAD. WE USED BIG TUB.
Staff was very nice, and helpful. Rooms were spacious, and clean. Indoor pool small, but warm.
No breakfast with stay. No coffee maker in room.
Location. Although it is not located directly on the boardwalk. It is actually on the street directly behind it, on Baltimore Avenue. If you want the hotel that's on the boardwalk, it's called Breakers Hotel, and they seem to have alot of close parking to thier hotel.
Zero to little parking. Parking spaces were much smaller than the legal sized parking spaces. It was near impossible to get in and out of the compact parking lot, and compact spaces with a mini-van. Must also mention there is literally no hotel parking lot near the hotel. You and your family must cross the busy street, and the hotel parking lot is diagnol from the hotel. Worst set up I've ever seen in my entire life.
It could have been a nice place. Easy to get to the board walk. Room size was good. Newer beds.
The staff was not helpful. The whole place smelled of subway and rotten meat. They skipped maid service. We had to ask for clean towels everyday. They never changed the sheets on the pull out from the guest before us even after we requested. The ad said on site parking but some parking across the street and the other 2 blocks away. Very hard when you have small children and a handicap person. They have few parking places under the building but you can't use them. Had to ask the front desk 2 times where the parking lot was. Because the 1st time they only said across the street failed to say anything about a 2nd one. They called that an overflow lot. Which the lot across the street is not enough for half of the rooms they have. The bed covers had dried hard stuff stuck on them looked like food or at least that's what I am telling myself to feel better about it. Had to plug in the fridge like they didn't know we were coming. Booked 2 rooms together they gave us one on the top of the hall and the at the bottom of it. Also had other family rent other rooms and they share my feelings. They didn't even get a coffee pot in the room. On top of all that you had to buy ice from the front desk if you wanted it. Never stayed anywhere you needed to BUY ice. This place was a joke. Never stay again!
Not enough light in the bathroom
The hotel is so close to plenty of good restaurants and shopping on the boardwalk. We never had to drive anywhere for our stay. The hotel staff was always pleasant. The indoor pool is small but heated, and the outdoor pool has some great views of the ocean and the bay.
The complimentary breakfast was nothing to write home about - juice and muffins.. which I can't complain too much because we ate breakfast at different places everyday anyways. Our bed was big but not very comfortable. You can hear every single noise on the whole floor all night, which woke us both up constantly.
Close to boardwalk and great meals
Great proximity to the beach; I loved the rooftop seating.
No ice machine on the floors; no coffee makers in the rooms.
Staff was awesome, dedicated and friendly, helped us whenever we had a need. Hot tub on roof is awesome.
There is virtually no lobby/common space, so guest interactions are limited. Smells of subway baked bread-not good. Breakfast in the morning is bad - cheap ultra preserved tasteless muffins and packaged juices, no fresh or appetizing items, also lack of lobby/common space only lends itself to grab and go. Indoor pool is awkward/is a joke. No deck space, deep, space would be better purposed as a common space.
Monique was a great maid
Staff should do more with parking situation
