- Noisy room near stairs - Wifi is very slow - rather expensive
- Location is very nice - All inclusive - friendly staff
April 28, 2015
Absolutely nothing to dislike!
Didn't expect to have such tasty and healthy food.
April 25, 2015
Wifi could be better, but you are not in the wilderness to connect to wifi, right?
Rustic Inn is right in between the park's two most popular destinations: The General Grant Tree and the Sherman Tree. It has a comfortable, summer camp vibe, with outdoor fires each evening, a games room and a very welcome outdoors hot tub to soothe muscles after a day of hiking.

- don't go here for the wifi - no TV - toilet (as in a lot of places in the USA)
+ the food! breakfast, lunch and dinner were great!! all freshly made by a happy looking cook! + fireplace + environment + the guests (talkative)

The lodge provided everything we needed and more! Kids enjoyed sitting by the fire eating s'mores, playing basketball and canoeing. Beds were comfortable and food selections was good.

If you miss dinner time (7:30 last call) it's 1h ride to the closest shop. It should be mentionned somewhere when doing the reservation.
Ideal for a short stay, the all-inclusive is definitly good since there is nothing around.

No tv bad wifi signal

Our heating unit did not work, there weren't enough bed linens to make a difference. The room felt as cold as it was outside. When we spoke to the front desk they said we had to go through the booking company, they couldn't do anything...

Lots of kids running around.
We were very happy with the lodging, the excellent meals, the friendly staff, and the beautiful location.
April 6, 2015
Too soon it was time to leave. Three days two nights not enough time the kids did not want to leave
Being away from home and never have to worry about something to eat. We were well well taken care of. Things for every one to do. Place to play plenty to eat and a good bed. All at the most scenic place you could ever wish for. I have been here before I will be back again

This is a all-inclusive lodge and I didn't expect a lot from the food, but dinner was really good and we enjoyed it. The location is wounderful and the rooms are ok (renovation would be nice). The staff is very friedly and there are plenty of activities for the kids. In the evening there were free marshmallows and a fire. Very nice atmosphere.

The only thing i could think of was the fact that there was no phone in the cabin. It was a good thing and a "not so good" thing at the same time. I totally enjoyed my stay and it did not take away from my stellar reviews. It wouldhave also been nice if the day activities sheets were placed in all of the guests rooms.
The wide variety of kid and adult activities..the family focus, the opportunities for quiet adult time and wonderful service from the staff. It was great! The 9 and 10 year olds in my group loved it.

Everything! From the friendly staff to the activities...perfect place to stay while in the park. The meals were great and the rooms were comfy. We are already planning our next trip back there!
March 29, 2015
wifi was spotty but that is to be expected in the middle of the national park
excellent location; close to all the major park points of interest; friendly staff, comfortable cabin; better than average food for a family oriented camp; great for kids
March 29, 2015
WiFi doesn't get signal on some areas.
cleanliness everywhere, good staff, good food and nice view also is close to the parks.
March 28, 2015
The staff was very friendly. They have a bakery inside with fresh and delicious food. The rec. room is open 24/7. We appreciate enough staff hired on the property so visitors can have great service, and clean surroundings.
March 26, 2015
My only complaint is the bottom sheets would not stay put!
The food is great, the lake is beautiful, the activities are family friendly, the staff is accomodating, just a gem of a place.
March 26, 2015
Spend 2 days there for visiting the giants and Moro Rock. Beautiful Lodge.
March 19, 2015
The staff was not so well organised and not particularly kind.

Very kind Staff, good food, wonderful location.

The wifi is slow but it's a weekend to get away (no TV either) but if u need wifi it's an issue.
Family perfect. Children friendly, casual good food home style dining, cheap bar, games room, people employed to lead activities for children/parents,fire pit after dinner where you toasted marshmallows. Spa but full of children.
February 16, 2015
This is a very family orientated place, so there were a few kids running around and playing, which we didn't mind at all.
We had such a nice time at the montecito. All your meals are included which made it such great value, and they'll do a packed lunch if your out. We especially like the complentary smore making by the fire. It's a short drive to the large sequoia tree's...which is a must see. This was a highlight of our trip staying here.
February 12, 2015
The room was quite a bit smaller than your photos seemed to show, but the bathroom was a very pleasant surprise. It was very spacious and modern.
Because you are located right in the middle of the Sequoia national Forest, we were Surrounded by the trees we came to see. The food was great and your lodge was the perfect place to relax with our adult children. Scenery and Hiking was great!
February 3, 2015
There was a supposed family reunion at the time we were there. I think it was a home school group and we felt over runs by indulged children. We stayed out of the lodge most of the time
Relaxing, casual atmosphere
