Hotel was lovely, service was great, excellent location in the quarter. Room was way too small even for 2 people. No mini-bar.

Atmosphere - sympathetic decoration highlighting history of hotel - comfy beds - friendly staff - excellent location - furniture in rooms and throughout - carousel bar The desk clerk spooked us a bit on our arrival by telling us that the area was not safe.

The location was excellent and the rooms well appointed. Rooms a bit small No free wifi in ros which is now standard in most hotels No newspaper delivered to room. Toilet flush very loud.

A beautifully re-furbished old New Orleans Hotel, in a perfect vacation location. Wonderful old style service and personnel not found easily today. Probably the hottest bar in town. Because the rooms are somewhat smaller than those in the most modern chain hotels, the beds are not paired kings, or even queens. A factor if there are more than two in the room.

Comfort of the bed. Size of the room for the price was crazy. View was awful and I made a special request for my husband's 50th birthday. I was not happy..... Carousel bar servers were extremely slow

Great location in the French Quarter. The lobby was beautiful, and teeming with activity. Doorman were very polite and helpful. The Carousel Bar looked great, although with a teenage son I didn't get a chance to sit and enjoy the slow revolution of this unique bar. Royal Street was wonderful, with antique shops, restaurants and art galleries along the length. Good central location for walking tours. Easy to catch a cab or a street car for destinations outside of the French Quarter. Room and bathroom were fairly small, but with so much to do in nola we didn't spend much time in the hotel.

Warm welcome, after a long drive. Effiicient, comfortable, elegant style, right in the French quarter. Service in the famous Carousel Lounge was very disappointing. It was slow, and staff were struggling to cope with the busy environment.

Very flexible. Luxurious yet affordable. Fantastic location. Super quiet. Prior my arrival, someone else got a room prepaid with my credit card. When I arrived, it showed that I have already checked out. I got charged double. Still getting it sorted out.

Aside from the staff and great facilities, absolutely loved being under the same roof as that lovely Carousel Bar! Nothing to be honest, aside from the fact that the stay had to come to an end.

location, carousel bar, take and go that you do not publicize your check in policy of 3-5:00. your printed materials say checkin as 3:30. we waited until almost 6:00 pm M

The bed was very comfy. You are charged 60 dollars up front for eminities. I have never had to pay for mini soap, shampoo and conditioner at a hotel before. I have not been refunded for what I did not use yet!!
