The Hotel was Historic yet cozy. Very close to everything. The entire staff was very friendly with the exception of the conceirge. He was very rude and not very helpful. When we asked hom for information he seemed like he couldn't be bothered and didn't even look at us when he spoke. We ended up asking other hotel staff for information and they were more then happy to help.

I liked the location in the French Quarter. I did not like the Valet parking. My car ended up with a couple scratches. One was on the passenger side mirror. The valet attendants were careless with all the cars from what I saw. No vending areas either. The pool was not kept as clean as I would have liked either. I would not stay there again.

The look of the Hotel is classic. The parking price was rather steep, I guess that can be expected in New Orleans?

Very friendly and helpful staff. Elegant hotel. Great Carousel Bar. Free continental breakfast with delicious fruit. Parking garage and easy access to car. Location! Rooftop pool with Bar. Enough lighting from lamps overhead fixtures and large windows. Very comfortable room for 2 people. Bath rooms are small, but no problem for 2 people. 4 people would have been cramped in our standard room.

The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Most hotels do not have curtains that close all the way. I enjoyed having black out curtains, keeping the room dark in the morning. The hotel is also in a great location. I would love to stay there again. The only negative thing was that there were two young kids in the room next door and the wall seemed very thin. We could hear everything going on in the room next door.

High professional staf. Large and comfortable room. Great location. Breakfast was offered during the transformation of the restaurant. Don't miss the famous Carrousel and the pool on rooftop. Price of the parking (more than 30 $!) is too high. No free wifi. A fridge but no minibar in the room.

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was great. They claimed that they were far enough away from Bourbon St that you couldn't hear all the noise but that was not true. They also charge for every little thing, internet $10/day...a movie $12!!! We ended up leaving early and changing hotels.

Concierge and front desk staff very helpful. Parking staff O.K., but we seemed to be interrupting their day by asking for our car. Sullen and passive-aggressive wait staff. Little southern hospitality here. It was like being back in New York,.

It was nothing great but it was acceptable in every way. Room service doesn't arrive until 6:30 am...I Was leaving without breakfast by then. Internet service was spotty and unreliable. It should be free by the way for a room that costs $240/night. One of the bartenders was fairly rude as well.

Classic ellegance in a good location to key attractions in New Orleans. The staff was extremely courteous and design/decor of the hotel was beautiful. Disappointed the dining room had not reopened after remodeling. I had believed from website it might be open by now but not so.

The service is always top notched and they do a great job remember former guest and treat you like you deserve to be treated in this type of establishment. The location is in the middle of everything you would want to do in the city of New Otleans and all is within walking distance. Priced higher then most others but the extra cost is absorbed by the high level of service and professionalism. This box has never been needed by my stays at the hotel.

We loved the live entertainment and the carousel bar. The hotel is beautiful and room was clean and comfortable overlooking Royal Street. The room was nicely decorated and I loved the fact that they provided bath robes. A great hotel for a reasonable price in the center of the action!! I will stay there again next time I'm in town.

The location was excellent and we were impressed by the ambiance of the facility. The employees who impressed us the most were the ladies who worked in the morning at the continental breakfast buffet. They made us feel right at home. The bar and restaurant were still under construction and so we were not able to fully enjoy the hotel and what it had to offer.

Hotel with historical New Orleans charm, personal service, quiet but centrally located Due to renovation of the breakfast room, breakfast was served in smaller room with a fairly long queue to wait to be seated

This is my 7th or 8th stay at the Monteleone. I wouldn't care to stay anywhere else in New Orleans. Even during renovation, it has maintained its high quality of service and comfort. Judith Giblin James

Close to the French Quarter The attitude of the staff was not good - they appeared just too tired to give good southern service. The lifts took ages to arrive often times just missing your floor. The breakfast room had big lines every morning - it was like a Holiday Inn Express.
