Monterey Marriott  

Friendly and helpful Staff. Great service and great location. I am definitely going back!

The air conditioning was way to cold and blasting . We ended up getting sick from it . My husband advised the staff to lower air and let guests adjust it themselves . They seemed totally disinterested.

We enjoy staying at the marriott I think it has a lot amenities handy none

The white pillow covers had eye makeup on them-mascara etc. Price for room should have included wifi. My confirmation stated breakfast was included however the room menu stated fees & when we went down to the lobby there was not free breakfast. We looked at the menu and saw the prices. We then paid for coffee and left. Would not return.

Valet service was not friendly when I wish to park self park

The front desk asked what brought us to Monterey and I told her our 23 year anniversary. My husband and I took a walk down to the pier when we returned they had sent a nice bottle of champayne and chocolate dipped strawberries what a treat.

My favorite thing about the Monterey Marriott was the staff ! They were very catering to all of our needs . They brought is wine glasses and an opener , a baby crib and a fridge ,complimentry . The vallet parking was WELL worth the $20 per day . They got our car really fast when we called for it . The bell hops we ON IT !

Well we paid extra for a "bay View" . I dont think our room was a "bay view " You had to walk out the teenie tiny balcony and stretch over the side to see the tiny glimpse of the bay . That was disappointing . A patio would have been nice to sit out on , instead it was just a little balcony that a little chair couldnt even sit on . The room was smaller than expected , but fine .

Great location.

The lifts. Only 2 of the 3 were working. This delayed people anywhere between 10-15mins waiting for a lift. It frustrated everyone, and left a negative image of the hotel which will impact people's decision about whether to return or not.

Our housekeeper was amazing! She was so friendly -- we loved her. We also loved the server at the 3 Flags restaurant. He remembered us each morning and even recognized us outside of the hotel!

Valets felt like we were being rushed.

We were expecting a Bay view as advertised and had a struggle to see it, room was good except fan in bathroom was covered in dust a litttle too much $$$ for what we receieved, was looking forward to that view

Familiar to me. I've been a fan of Marriott for a long time. But,,,

Only valet parking is available. I prefer to self park when I am on a driving trip. They wanted to charge for WiFi in the rooms?? It's 2012 people. The dumpy San Simeon Lodge I stayed at the previous night offers free in room WiFi along with everyplace else in the world. Then I noticed the in room water they offered was $3.50 a bottle! Even the TV menu was a vortex that led you back to PPV only. I started to feel like this company tried to put their hand in my pocket at every opportunity. And it wasn't cheap. (Neither am I. I just prefer courtesy.) The next night I booked a Hilton and had a wonderful experience. Sadly, I'm done with my Marriott romance :-)

服务态度极差，我当时定了3间房，入住时，前台说我只定了2间，这是没道理的，后我只能另外加1间，但我在- 信用卡账单中显示扣了我4间房的钱，我便到前台询问，她们告诉我只扣了3间房的钱，待我回到洛杉矶后查信用- 卡账单，还是扣了我4间房的钱。但我事实只开了3间房，请帮我讨回多扣的房钱，谢谢。

We really enjoyed the bed & pillows. We got a great nights rest. The staff in front to check in were very nice. And they remembered me by full name! Nice!

We didnt enjoy paying for valet parking $20 a day The room chair was dusty in the creases. The bathroom wallpaper could have used updating.

Very friendly environment. Smiles on everyone face. Great breakfast buffet!
