Very clean, comfortable and walkable to Old Town, which was very enjoyable.
The room was fine for our needs, it was clean and spacious with everything we needed. Was lovely to see fresh flowers in the room. The owner was friendly enough, with recommendations on places to eat etc. Old town was easy walkable, so location was fine for us. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice.
Not much to dislike!
Easy walk to old town area Excellent swimming pool Lovely and quiet Nice friendly owners Big very clean rooms and very very good biscuits supplied in rooms Will definitely be back
No negatives at all
Wonderful value for the money. Excellent managemant. Dated, but hey this is Route 66.
Location near old town, value, room, owners
For the price - nothing
Easy to walk to Old Town, clean, good size room, quick FiWi.
Air Conditioner loud at night
Very, very clean and in good repair. Helpful hosts and lots of brochures available. Nice, clean pool. Centrally located (you get to say that you stayed on Route 66). The small refrigerator and coffee pot are convenient. Wi-Fi was quick and reliable. Comfortable beds. Reasonably priced.
Not located in the best part of town, but that never proved to be an issue. Walking distance to Old Town, but it is a fairly long walk. Traffic can be loud, but won't disturb you with the door closed and AC on (or even when it's off).
Would love to return to this clean and tidy motel, a good small motel
The owners were very friendly and helpful. They have done a great job restoring this Route 66 hotel. It is very close to Old Town and easy to get to and from the Interstate. I would definitely stay here again.
The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was lovely - spacious and very well equipped. The bathroom was large and the shower super. There was tea and coffee making facilities and everything you could need. This place has the charm of a typical 66 motel but the rooms are modern and spotless.
Clean; well-groomed grounds with beautiful plants; friendly owner; easy to get to; parking immediately in front of room. Best of all - big room, immaculate bathroom with real glasses; plenty of electrical outlets for c-pap machines. Helpful advice about good places to eat.
Everything was fine.
Clean hystoric motel on the route66. Staff very friendly and helpful.5 minutes far by walking from the old town.
Fridge and air con a bit loud.
Price; fan in bathroom, place was quiet.
bed comfort was average to fair; older;
Beautifully clean. Near Old Town and several great museums. Pristine small pool in an enclosure in the parking lot. That doesn't sound very appealing but it is pleasant with chaise chairs and geraniums. Motel had a laundry room for use of travelers.
The air conditioning unit and a small refrigerator in the room were very noisy. Had to turn them both off in order to sleep. Made for a stuffy night.
It's almost perfect!!
room was large and clean
The motel is within walking distance of Old Town and the Bio Park (aquarium and botanical gardens). They were helpful with directions and eating recommendations. Pool was great. It was quiet even though it was close to the main road. I would go back!
Price, clean, friendly and helpful. I accidently left my cell phone charger and they saved it for me for my tip back through.
Neighborhood, Busy street.
Owner,location and cleanliness
Some road noise in rooms close to traffic.
A fun place to stay that reminded me of motels that I stayed in as a child. The pool was clean and well kept.
The staff was very friendly! Gave us tips on where to eat and printed our boarding passes. Great location and wonderful Mid-Century flare.
Rates were very reasonable.
Location to old town and price.
Air conditioning was difficult to adjust, it blew hard on us as we slept.
-older property but kept in great condition -walking distance to "Old Town" -rooms are very spacious -a great deal at $70/nt
Owners are so nice, very helpful. Rooms and grounds were immaculate.
