Was reasonable for a last minute road trip to the coast for my daughter and I.
You could hear the next door neighbor snoring and it was a ways (driving distance, not able to walk) from restaurants and tourist spots.
The peace and quiet
it was a last minute booking because the other hotel (Ramada Inn) we had originally booked was HORRIBLE and unpleasant (staff) - and the staff here went out of their way to assure us our booking was fine and secure (we were still 3 hours out of Monterey and not sure whether to make the drive or not.
The price was right. Staff was accommodating to our requests for additional pillows and the Wifi password. We were there on a Thursday night so there were hardly any people, but the room next to us was a bit noisy as we could hear the couple talking.
Far from sights and near a busy street
Off road parking (free) and location near highway . Cannot fault it for a one night stay on the road . Comfotable enough , clean and value for money!
Room a bit dated but not a big issue .
Location was great. Only a mile or two from friends and sights.
Wasn't the cleanest but the bed was clean and we were just there to sleep so it was fine.
Park close to room.
Dirty doors and baseboards, gave a feeling that everything else was dirty. Room was very small. The name says "oceanside" but the ocean is a few blocks away. The motel is small, one floor and in a 'C' shape, and old, though the inside was probably recently remolded.
Could stream Netflix with the wifi Good shower Great parking right outside the door Free coffee in the morning Good location for route 1 (Coastal road) Walking distance to some restaurants
Noisy air con unit Paper thin walls (could hear the next door couple having a jolly good time) No green tea in the morning (coffee only) Very taciturn front desk staff
Shower was good
Too near the road expensive for what it was
The bathtub had hair on it. There was a open bar of soap in the bathtub. There was stains on the bedspread and the blue blanket. Was not noticed that the water would be turned off because of a leak.
Comfortable beds, clean rooms. Close proximity to Beach, Wharf, and Aquarium. It was suitable for a one-night stay while traveling, without having to pay an outrageous price just to have somewhere to decent sleep for the night.
Restroom- toilet was wobbly and smelled somewhat of urine,,, Had spray some Fabreeze to eliminate odor. Tub drain plug did not function; as we had a little one that needed to take a bath
The hotel was clean. I had stayed in an econolodge in Santa Cruz the night before that was a nightmare so this was a pleasant upgrade. Overall, I would recommend this if you need a place to sleep. Try not to get room 101 (Handicap Accessible). Any other room would probably be better. Pretty close to cannery row.
Thin walls. I could hear my neighbors, but they could hear me too so I think a little bit of mutual respect goes a long way here. As I said in the Pros, do not get room 101 if you need a good nights rest. The noise from the street is pretty rough. Thankfully, I was so beat up and worn out from my leisure trip that I went out like a light and slept like a rock through it all. I wasn't told about the wifi when I checked in, so when I got back to my room at 11 or so, I didn't want to bother the owner and called it a minor loss on both parties behalf. Also, the bed is not incredibly comfortable. Don't expect Marriott beds here. Just a standard place to sleep. If you come in knowing this, you'll likely be a happy camper. I wouldn't recommend it for a honeymoon or anything.
Nothing got stolen, I guess. Right on the main drag. Bathrooms had been recently renovated.
I think the manager peed in our toilet. Overrun with ants. Staff couldn't even pretend to care.
Limited parking, older building
Speedy check_in/checkout. Facility was clean and basic.
Wi-fi worked well. Very few vacancies in town due to a major national, annual, auto show and auction.
Not much to like in this place. Lots of street noise, take it or leave it attitude. Insufficient parking. Management asked me twice to park our motorcycle in a space between two designated parking spaces so small I would have had to remove the saddle bags to get the bike into the space.
There were four of us registered, but were only given two towels. Hair dryer was broken and almost caught on fire. Fumes stunk up the whole room
We found a room during a very busy week. There was always someone there to help.
The price didn't reflect the value of the room. No coffee maker in the room, but was in the office. The walls were paper thin.

Good location and friendly staff.
room cleanliness did not seem to be high on the list of priorities. The comforter was dirty and the blanket had burn holes in it.
I like the location. It was close enough to all the attractions.
I did not like walking into the office and it smelling horrible. It gave me a really bad impression of my room.
The dirties motel I´ve ever been. We arrieved quiet late. Our kids were very sleepy why we decided to stay instead of looking for a new motel at 10 P.M. But never again. $ 107 for a smelling, old, noisy room.My wife and me slept almost no minutes at this night and I had to drive down to L.A. next day. Just close it!!!
The simplicity and comfort of a nice place to sleep.
A leaky faucet in rm 115. The showers use way too much water.
