no frills, good bed
no breakfast, very small bathroom with no tub
Very clean, staff very friendly.
Stayed here recently for a trip to the Needles District of Canyonlands. Very nice and quiet, lady at the front desk was very friendly, lot closer to the Needles than Moab and a lot less expensive than Moab. Would definitely stay here again.
Monticello was just right for our visit to The Needles. Nothing fancy but clean and convenient.
A little noisy but with the A/C fan on slept well.
The ownersare friendly and will go out of the way for you. This is the third time we have stayed there. We don't like to spend alot of money just to sleep. Very clean room. We like it!
The help of the front desk she was very helpful
Good location and a comfortable bed.
Very low water pressure in shower. Couldn't get logged on to the internet.
Quite pricey for a basic motel in effectively a stop over area
Nice place. Clean and comfortable
Good clean place to stay Recommended good sights to see in area. Would recommend it as a good place to stay.
interesting little town
the hot water in the showers was so hot that it was hard to take a shower and adjust the temperature and flow for a good shower. No exhaust fan in the bathroom
Not much to look at from the parking lot, but everything was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. For the price we found it more than adequate.
The friendliness of the owners. I made a mistake when making reservations but they did everything they could to help with my mistake and make us as comfortable as possible.
Everything was fine
No water pressure when taking a shower, could not adjust the hot and cold water got scalded with a sudden burst of hot water when taking a shower one evening
Older motel that has been renovated and redecorated and compares favourably with newer hotels in the Choice selection.
As with most hotels/motels, very little sound insulation between rooms
The staff were friendly and the inn was clean and the room was everything we expected. Good value for money.
A retro style hotel that proved to have surprising nice rooms and provided a good stop-over after a day of Canyon sightseeing
Older motel in a small town in the middle of nowhere but in good shape.
Small motel w/small front office so no free breakfast available. Also no nightstands so nowhere to put snacks, water, glasses.
After visiting Canyon lands National Park this was a convenient stop. Bed was a full king size and very comfortable.
Caution. Hot water is extremely hot.
The coolcondition, too noise
IOlder single storey motel, but good prices and well cared for with lots of parking in centre of town. Stayed in Monticello because prices in Moab too high. Drive to Moab on U.S. 191 (54 mi.) extremely interesting and beautiful.
Bed a bit too soft. Screen on bathroom window had large holes, therefore could not open window for air. No breakfast provided and recommendations for both dinner and breakfast left a lot to be desired when a good restaurant for both was just across the street.
Quiet, clean, friendly local cat
Occasionally WiFi cuts out
Receptionist was amazing and helpful and showed us a route that we had never heard of and was A M A Z I N G!!! thank you
Bathroom a bit dated
