I enjoyed the Hotel very much; it is not very expensive, and the location is convenient; in order to go to the National Mall (Capitol, White House, the Washington and Lincoln Memorial) you need transportation, but there are buses and matro close to the Hotel, and you can reach the National Mall in ten minutes; additionally there are restaurants and nigthlife at walking distance. The Hotel looks to be located in a safe and wealthy neighbourhood. |

The Inn is a delightful small hotel suitably situated for the convention center and the Verizon center, It is well appointed without overstating its historic character. |

Nicely renovated hotel, comfortable and relatively spacious room with aircon Noisy airco unit (or generator?) on roof next to hotel, a bit far from the nearest subway entrances (10 min walk from Central and Convention Centre) |

Inn has alot of Charm and Staff was very engaged to ensure service provided. Room was very comfortable and dining at the restraunt in the Inn was pleasurable and appropiatly priced based on Washington DC prices. We enjoyed our stay and felt we were treated to the best that could be offered. Location was good, within walking distance of Metro and Washington sites, good places to eat were nearby also within walking distance. Busy road just outside the Inn and sometimes it can get a little noisy with traffic going by. If you are use to living in a city near a busy street this will not bother you, however if you are from a country area it may cause you some concern. |

We liked the historic charm, a really nice change from the standard business hotel accommodation one so often gets. The restaurant was really excellent...we loved visiting America but the food and coffee is consistently appalling and it was nice to find a good restaurant right in the hotel where we were staying. And the staff were helpful. We took a stab in the internet dark choosing the hotel based on room rate, and location, but one really never knows how things will work out when choosing this way...it can be a bit of a lottery but we won a lottery prize on this one. |

Very convenient to Washington convention center and to city in general, Good food and nice verandah, Staff were very friendly Main staircase did not reach top floor; hot water slow getting to top floor; no bureau for clothes and so coffee pot in bathroom which took up half of counter; would recommend eliminating huge wardrobe and putting in bureau instead; no easy chair; desk too small; air conditioning did not always work |

this hotel room did not looked the way it did on the internet. false advertisement. i wanted a room with a fireplace(no fireplaces),a bar (a $3.00 bottle of merlot 2 bags of chips),a balcony(no balcony a terrance bolted down).the chairs were dirty.small bathroom with no sink.it was a bedroom shack.stay home if considering this hotel.i wanted to surprise my husband for father's day, it was a disaster.this hotel was bad, ray charles would not stay here and everything in the room was set up for someone like emmanuel lewis and someone on the run. get it! |

Generosity and hospitality of the employees. The dining room food and facilities were excellent. I would prefer a handle bar when getting into the bathroom. |

The Morrison Clark Inn is an old-fashioned hotel in the heart of downtown Washington, DC. My room was large and had a balcony from the second floor. |

Decoration was tasteful and in keeping with the building The emphasis was on decor at the expense of facilities. Had to ask for a chair to be put in room. No desk or table. One bedside light. TV inside wardrobe |

The staff was very professional and the room was very clean and orderly. The room was very small. We ordered a rollaway for my 10 year old that filled the room. Also, the matresses were due to be changed. The biggest problem that we did have, hovever, was that booking.com did not tell the hotel that we were coming. I received a confirmation from booking.com on the day before our stay, but the hotel was never informed. |

I had a reservation for a "deluxe" room but got a room in the basement with no view (from the window one could see the feet of people walking on the pavement). The room had a horrible smell. I complained about this and was told that the smell comes from the liquid that comes in big containers and that is used by housekeeping. Smelled like poison. |

The hotel is located in the strict city centre but has been able to keep the comfort of an old victorian inn with a big terrace in front to enjoy the hot evenings. Our room did not have a balcony |

The room was spacious, well decorated and the bed was very comfortable with nice plump pillows. And, if you can drag yourself out of your bed from resting after an afternoon of shopping you should then drag yourself down to the restaurant for their crab cake entree and lemon chess pie for dessert...most satisfying. I can't find anything negative to stay, other than to say that everyone should be given directions to get there from the Metro Center stop, it is the easiest route. |
