The bed was creaking, the stores were broken, the heating was very noisy. But the worst : I thought the ceiling was going fall on my head when the people above my room were walking. It was absolutely horrible. I can't believe I paid almost $100 for this room. Never ever again.
I don't like to pay much for lodging, so this was adequate for the amount they charged me. Bed was OK, toilet flushed well and shower was fine - that's all that mattered to me.....
Upstairs neighbors were very noisy....
The WFii stunk
Fortunately, I am not scared of spiders. If I were, this motel would have been something out of a nightmare. A web covered part of the door to my room when I woke up on my first morning, and by the end of the day, it had doubled in size. What is surprising is that the presence of fresh towels showed that a staff member did enter the room (but did not turn over the bed), but neglected to remove the web. Upon waking on my second (and fortunately, final) morning, I found two spiders in the bathroom sink. I could not wait until the motel finally faded from view in my rearview mirror.
The front door looked like it had been kicked in and was now held together with duct tape and nails. The deadbolt did not work. The furniture was very old and made of particleboard. The carpeting in the hallway was filthy. No investment had been made in this place in decades.
It was the only place that had vacancies in the area.
Bug & spiders, bug friendly! Towels were refolded and reused Sheets had non organic dirt. Rooms are keyed not carded. Tiled area was not grouted & dirty Room was never vacuumed.
Convenience, affordability, responsiveness to service call, courtesy.
Nothing, short of a five-star hotel, but I don't like them.
