Price was right
Parking was very limited
Our room smelled like it had been drenched in chemicals. Even the sheets and floor felt sticky. I woke up with swollen eyes and a terrible headache. We paid for wi-fi that didn't work. We wanted a bargain, and didn't expect much. But this was unbearable. We'll never stay at a Motel 6 again. Just not worth it.
The staff were wonderful. The parking lot and area were safe for walking. The room was comfortable.
As a motel, everything is good compared to other motel
Too close to highway, the noise is too loud for anybody who needs quietness for sleeping
We had another friend that booked a room and paid online and they lost their reservation. The last at the desk was rude and was unwilling to help find a resolution.
Driving north to Bellingham, there is no identifying signs to locate motel. It is behind a shell gas station an d not visible from the freeway or the street. I mentioned this to the mgr.
close to shopping
Highway noise, the room was ok but we will stay in a different motel on are next visit.
Pool was warm and clean. Location was ok.
Outdated rooms. Bedding had cigarette burns in the bedspread. Highway noise was very loud.
Small bar of soap was included in price. Rooms were reasonably quiet with the doors closed (I-5). Overall the motel was clean and tidy.
I haven't booked a Motel 6 in a long time. A couple of the non- smoking rooms just stunk of smoke. Charged for shampoo and cream rinse. Hotel Coffee was not worth drinking. Bullet proof glass in the lobby was interesting. Neighborhood was a little on the rougher side.
Very good price and dogs stay free. The staff were very friendly.
Noise from the highway. Because of the low price, steps are taken to work with police to control prostitution, giving me an uncomfortable feeling.
I liked that it was convenient to the facility I was visiting the next day.
It was pretty noisy being so close to the Interstate. The room was rather dingy, with old-style décor and a bed that was low to the floor (lower than a typical bed). There were few amenities like a hairdryer, which I was able to get from the front desk, but was required to bring it back to the front desk the next morning rather than just leave it in the room. The two things that really bothered me were the shower and the toilet. The shower was a stand-up wrap around curtain with the water jet pointed right at my face and was very difficult to adjust. It was difficult to adjust the shower head, so hard to do a good job at lathering up. The toilet is what really bothered me. It was moldy - like it hadn't been cleaned recently - with the beginning pink stuff around the edge of the water and the mold beginning to grow on the bottom of the toilet. There was also no lid to close it. It sufficed for one night, but next time I'm in the area, I'll stay somewhere a little farther to travel the next day.
Low cost Good vaule if you are only concerned with having a shower and a clean bed to sleep in.
A little noise next to the Freeway but convenient to downtown. old small TV.
The final quoted price on Booking was 59.00 but I was charged 62.00 for an unknown reason. I know it was only 3.00 dollars but... be truthful upfront.
Towels were gross and not very clean. Rooms reeked of cigarettes.
Everything was outstanding at this facility. Will return again. Thanks
No bath tub; only a shower. Noise from the highway was unbearable. Walking through the rain and up a staircase to the room was not pleasant. No elevators anywhere.
no iron or ironing board..
good value for money and close to restaurants. Staff friendly.
Too close to freeway and hard to find
How I was wellcomed to the motel. They had not got the change to the booking I made, but took my words for it even though I insisted on showing them the confirmation from Booking.com Very good price. I conveniently located by the main highway - easy to find. I would reccoment the motel on the basis of price.
The motel is located by a busy highway. The thin sliding windows don't keep out the noice of the traffic. I would warn my friends about the noice from the traffic.
Last minute availability. Clean, balcony entrance. Nice to have tea or coffee in the lobby.
Staff at desk was difficult to communicate with--may have been language barrier, but she seemed angry when I asked for assistance with connecting to WiFi. I wasn't mad, so why should she be? Once I did connect, the signal kept dropping. I don't mind paying for a service (WiFi) but it should go at least as smoothly as it does in hotels where it is free.
Close to freeway and University.
The bed was VERY uncomfortable and made me ache. Also, I would suggest a grasp rail in the bathroom. Toilet was low and even though I am not disabled, with my arthritic knee, it was VERY difficult getting up and down. Also, Wi-Fi was very spotty and we were constantly having to re-sign on.
The place was clean and affordable. The staff person at the front desk was also very friendly.
Well, I didn't know this up front, but apparently it's in a bad neighborhood. A trustworthy source later told me that the area is where all the sex offenders are, and yes, it does look a bit sketchy around there. Also, it's right by the interstate, so the room was VERY noisy as I was trying to go to sleep. This is NOT a good place to be if you have to get up in the morning. There's free coffee (very watery coffee) in the morning, but no breakfast. If you forgot anything (tooth brush, shampoo, etc.) there's a vending machine down by the front office. The shower was a bit tight and awkward too. I'm 5'8" and it was impossible to position the shower in such a way that it wasn't hitting me directly in the face or pointed at the way entirely. The shower was so tiny there was also really no way to stand somewhere different either without falling out of the shower. So: Sex offenders, sketchy neighborhood, very loud interstate, and awkward/tiny shower.
close to shopping good water pressure in the shower
There was only one towel in our room. My husband and I stayed there for 2 nights- maids did not do a good job. We had to pay for wifi and only one device could be used. the thin walls - you definately get what you pay for at this motel. cheap and I probably won't stay there again
Just in and out. Too close to the freeway so you could hear the traffic
the queen size bed
no mini fridge despite having one last time, closer to freeway, toilet had hard time flushing.
