proximity to Union Square/downtown San Francisco Staff courteous and knowledgeable
Location , free parking
In my opinion all hotels and motels in San francisco are overpriced. This motel 6 was one of the more cheap accomodations and was just fine. Really nice shower, spacious room, good beds and all facilities. Yes the neighbourhood is a bit rough but honestly nothing to be worried about!
Good located near the dawn town with internal parking house
free parking, wifi, elevator
close to everything
Sounded like we were sleeping in the middle of the road. Extremely noisy unit on road side. People outside yelling and traffic. Was scarey looking out the Window with young rough people staring in so kept the curtains closed.
Located near the most dangerous área in san Francisco. Noisy Room Bad internet conexion
Great personnel, very friendly and helpful, clean room, comfy beds, decent wifi
Too many homeless
Good wifi Good bed Nice turkish restaurant next door Clean and quiet
Not for everyone. Basic.
It was a spacious room, and it was secure. You need a key to get into the lift to get to your room. The maid was friendly and always left our room spotless. It was value for money but there were some cons.
The wifi was rubbish, the signal was poor and we were on the first floor. The area was rough, we walked around during the day but at night we always got a cab back, we were a group of 4 girls. The walls are paper thin and the connecting doors didn't help, the group next door to us were loud and constantly had their tv on.
It is closer to downtown area.
The only thing I found pleasing was the parking but even that wasn't guaranteed.
I consider myself an optimistic person but this place was bad, the location was bad. There were homeless all around the motel, terrible smell, dirty towels, backbreaking beds, thin walls, very small elevator, I would not recommend this place to anyone
Close to city center. Parking availability.
Some towels in the room were dirty. Neighborhood is bad. We saw many drug dealers, homeless, alcoholic people in the area around the hotels. Not a very safe place.
-good location -friendly staff -clean room
-noise on the street -hard bed
The staff was friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the parking. The room had or plenty of space and it was centrally located.
Really good price, clean room, helpfull staff
It is not far from downtown, we are young so we were walking. But the city district seemed a bit dangerous, during the day it was allright, but when its got dark, there was a lot of weird people, homeless people and drug dealers. I recommend, just use taxi at night and everything will be fine. Sorry about my english.
Free parking is a life saving thing and also the room was very big and clean. It was very close to union square by walking about 10 minutes.
Wifi connection from the room was very bad.
staff clean rooms
location - many beggars and shadow figures around. Far from the union square. Too expensive for the location
Staff was friendly
overal facilities and room were not up to basic standard. Not clean and the building aircondition was running all night just outside the room.
Free parking. House keeping did a good job, very clean. We always had clean towels. The location is not too bad.
There was no iron or hair dryer. No shampoo either. The wi-fi stopped working after a while. The bed was kinda hard. Could not sleep.
Interior and actual room was clean.
Terrible location. Dirty streets and surroundings.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was good.
Pillows were uncomfortable. Didn't dleep as well as I would have liked.
Motel 6 is reliably affordable (although this property was more costly than usual cuz it's in San Fran. It is also neat, clean and simple. Some of the desk staff were nice and responsive.
A repair I'd requested for my room wasn't responded to for an hour. Some desk staff were sour and unpleasant. While I'm pretty reliant, the neighborhood is really pretty depressing, filled w/ homeless, crime and people with mental health issues. You can hear them arguing, wailing long into the night.
Free parking and ease of check-in were pluses.
The motel is located near the city homeless shelters and a lot of shady characters are in the neighborhood streets just outside the premises. Though the parking garage is secure and the motel has a secure feeling once inside the premises it still gives a guest a rather worrisome feeling if ones possessions are truly secure. A seasoned traveler would have no trouble taking the necessary precautions while in the area the motel is located but it does not make for an enjoyable stay other then just getting a nights rest only.
