Leak in room wet bed and floor Every time another door in the complex closed the door to this room would not stay closed. Vacated after one night. Should have received a refund as bed was WET and floor was WET from leaks in the room.
The staff were friendly and helpful ,all our needs were catered for and its somewhere we would certainly go to again if we needed accommodation in this area.
It is cheap and just a typical motel 6 chain. I cannot secure a room in Boston itself so I ended up here far away. No smoking room with ashtray :). Not very far from commuter train station.
It proximity to highway, very very very noisy. If you are a light sleeper then you are in trouble. The noise from the motorist made my night horrible. Choosing the room on the opposite side of the road may be better.
Floors, bathroom, and bed were clean. Staff was nice!
Heating did not work, room did not smell clean, and bed was not made when housekeeping came in. New towels were wet and smelled like bleach.
staff helpful, wash basin problem fixed once brought to staff attention.
at first water pressure would splash out and get you wet from wash basin. tried adjusting water flow myself and black crude came from out afterwords.
common areas where extremely old and worn, seemed dirty. Parking was a nightmare. Had to park behind a restaurant next door, hotel manager said it was ok. Over all, poor experience.
The unit was clean and staff friendly
Walls 'thin' and neighbors having a party in hall outside our room. Nothing too rowdy but just kept me awake as I am a light sleeper
The check-in was easy. The room was clean and modern. It was a non-smoking room and I did not detect any evidence of smoking in or near my room. That helped make my sleep so much more comfortable.
Good money for value. Dude at the counter during late night check in was hilarious. And very nice!!
Non smoking rooms had ash trays with no smoking stickers on them! Total tease!! Had to go a long distance to be able to smoke while freezing and getting rained on. Make sure to get a smoking room if you need to smoke!!
near street, noise,not free wifi.
all the staff helped with directions to get us to Fenway Park via the commuter rail; and then excellent directions to the south shore! thanks all!
the wi fi connection kept booting me out, but connected long enough to leave some messages. they are doing construction so maybe that was why.
The manager was very accommodating , Hats off to him. He foud us a non-smoking room :)
We had booked a non-smoking room, when we arrived early there were no non-smoking rooms available, when asked if everyone that had booked a room had signed in the front desk staff would not answer me, they have to change their policy and change it to first come first serve for non-smoking rooms.
Good value for one night if one night in Boston is too expansive.
In my opinion they shouldn't call it "Boston West". It takes about 35-60 minutes to reach Boston by car (depending on the traffic) and the whole area doesn't feel like Boston at all. If you arrive from Boston, it's really very tricky to find the right way to get to the motel. Without GPS we would have been lost, so make sure to use the exact address. By far, this was the craziest exit I've ever experienced. The rooms don't seem to be refurbished and though it's non-smoking you can still smell smoke everywhere. At the reception we had to wait quite long because there was only one receptionist working in the evening though lots of people seem to arrive in the evening.
room was big and comfort, blanket and sheet was ok, it is good for this money.
blanket was very old. location was not near to subway station or bus station.
The hotle is not very clean. Need to pay extra for wi-fi and very slow. Parking does not look loke very safe. I booked non-smooking room but got smooking room. I got very hard time to spend two night. My 8 years old daughter wanted to leave in the midnight.
Found bug monitors in the room with some bugs not sure what they were and to roaches. The room had an ant problem also
clean friendly staff good value for money
to close to the highway gas station next door too less parking lots
procimety to the highway
in need of repair ( all ice macines were broken), understaffed
Affordable. Easy access to Route 9. The room itself was neat and clean.
The smell of cigarette smoke in the lobby near elevators. The stained carpeting on the 2nd floor.
Nice place for a short stay. Large comfy bed and clean room
Reasonable for a hotel that allows pets
Noisy. There is nothing around.
Location was a bit awkward since you had to drive a mile or so past the hotel to make a u turn to get in the hotel. In the other direction this town has all the u turns and left turns blocked with barricades and no left turn signs so you have to drive quite a distance to turn around or turn left. There are one way streets complicating driving a bit more. Seems like someone just designed traffic flow to make it as inneficient and difficult as possible. Some thought went into it obviously and it wears on your patience especially if you are out of town. Business parking is divided so you can't drive from the parking lot of one business to another unless you venture onto the main road but you may have to drive a distance to turn around. Never seen anything like it. Not visitor friendly at all.
Clean for as old as the motel is.
The night manager groping his girlfriend in the lobby. Giving me a room that was already occupied.
