The room was very clean and had a fresh smell!
I didn't realize until after the maid staff left that there were no towels in the bathroom
Who I was with, my wife!
Reserved a non smoking room, put us in a smoking room, cigarette holes in sheets, filthy, rug not vacuumed, dirty tub, hair dryer coated with dirt, non working hairdryer, cobwebs in corners. Reported this location to corporate it was so bad! I like this company and corporate needs to send an inspector to this property asap!
It was quiet.
Nicotine smell, burnt marks on tubs, shabby wifi even close to the office, no continental breakfast as advertised, rooms were not as clean as advertised, no refund on stuck items in vending machine.
Roach infested motel, bathtub was so nasty would not even try to take shower, wi fi stopped working every 5 minutes, staff was knocking at ny door at 7:00 A.M. for room service waking me up against my will, prostitutes kept knocking at my door all night long, etc...
I killed at least 30 roaches in the room, the floor was sticky and they never changed the sheets in the week I was there. I would advise anyone to stay away from this motel.
At check-in everything seemed okay, but as soon as we walked into the room I knew we had made a mistake by reserving a room there. There was mold in the room on the walls, there was writing all over the furniture and the bathroom door (like you would find in a school bathroom stall), the linen on the beds looked like they had never been washed, the bathroom was disgustingly dirty, the refrigerator didn't work, and the light above the sink would only flicker non stop (so that was fun to deal with). This place was by far the worst place I had ever stayed at!
Price, but it can't make up for lack of sleep due to bugs
I was okay until I couldn't sleep woke up bugs crawling on bed.
Dirty, insects and very shabby blankets and towels in rooms.amenities are not there.even a hair dryer is not available.
Close to market. 5 minute ride. Manager and staff was very friendly. Good hot water.
Hair hair hair.... all over the tub and toilet.... yukk... Rooms not clean and floors sticky... couldnt walk bare foot and I can take a good deal of filth.... but this time it didnt cut....
Location to highway.
We checked into first room and the beds were made and towels on towel bars. But besides being old and worn out, the toilet had not been cleaned from the last person nor the sink/ counter disgusting. Called the front desk and they said they would call the manager. After an hour I called to be moved. The second room was still old and worn out and the sink counter and toilets were smudged - but without the obvious feces on the toilet and facial hairs on the sink from shaving ( like the first room). Old his towns hotel/ motels were sold out due to the furniture market so I went to Walgreens and bought rubber gloves and cleaners. The front reception area had no breakfast and the coffee was horrible with powder creamer and the rat poison type sweetner. The front desk was friendly overall and tried to help.
The lady working the counter was nice, and the lobby was deceivingly well kept.
It was 100 bucks for one night. Looked as though the last person who stayed in the room left an hour ago because there was one pillow missing on the second bed, and the pillow that was left looked like it was just used. It looked as though the room hadn't been cleaned in a year. I would be completely shocked if there had been a maid in there any time recently. There were too many cockroaches to count, and we had brought a box of pizza we were planning on eating later in the night, only to find it covered in cockroaches after only one hour. There was ash and cigarette buts in many places on the floor, making it pretty obvious that the room hadn't been swept in quite a while. If there had been any other hotels in the area available (there was some furniture event happening) I would have demanded a refund and slept somewhere else. My boyfriend and I very seriously considered finding a place to camp or sleeping in the car. We may as well have been squatting in a recently abandoned hotel except we had to pay 100 bucks to "squat" here. Bathroom door didn't shut. This place needs serious rethought by those running it. I will say though, that the lady that was working the counter in the lobby was very kind. We are normally very easy going people, and not the types to complain about a place unless we have a very, very good reason to. I took several pictures of the room to post if I can find a review site for this motel that allows pictures. The pictures were of the broken dresser drawer that was hanging on it's side, the cockroaches all over the walls, the graffiti inside the desk drawer, the ash and cigarette buts all over the floor, the numerous questionable stains on the chair, and the one pillow that had been obviously used recently and not cleaned or put in the proper place (with the second pillow missing). I will be finding a place for these pictures to be public.
The price & location attracted me & staff was helpful. We just wanted a no frills place to lay our heads after our flat tire delayed our trip, so that we could get up & go the next day...
This, by far, was the most disgusting hotel experience of my life. I am a person who has stayed in third world country motels to the Ritz. The place needs to be condemned. I squashed three bugs within entering the room first ten minutes. Chinese cookie wrappers were laying about the room. The room was labeled non smoking, but cigarette burns were on the sheets, on the side of the tub, and someone dragged his cigarette along the dresser to make trails of lines. There were cigarette ashes on the floor next to the bed. I looked for bed bugs, and luckily I didn't see any. The refrigerator was dirty & didn't work. In the morning, we discovered that it leaked all over the floor after we opened it & it was plugged in...? We threw our food out. The laminate was pulled from the dresser and desk. The concrete floor was covered in old linoleum that was not adhered properly and it squeaked and sloshed as you walked over it. The room was supposedly a two queen bedroom for 4 people, yet it was equipped with one face towel for the 3 of us, & one wimpy bar soap. After seeing condition of the spotty worn bathtub, I just decided that bathing would be best to be done at the time share, where we were traveling to. You could hear every movement of the guests nearby and the second floor quakes. I has read later that a tripadvisor reviewer said he would have been more comfortable sleeping in his car, and in hindsight, I would have to agree. There was free coffee, but we chose not to risk it. I cannot understand why this place is in business. You couldn't pay me $50 to stay there again. When I checked out, I factually mentioned a few of the above issues, and the desk clerk smiled and nodded. I am not one to write negative reviews, but this needs to be shared.
Needs updating badly. We were very surprised , Motel 6 is our go to motel when traveling, of how poorly kept the room was. Booking was for queen beds but we got full size ones.
the aspect of the room 102 looks to dirty and old, the carpet, the bathtub even the blankets and so on.....
The outside of the building was nasty looked and it look like ran a car into the building the room was not clean good at all?????
floors very dirty, feet were black form the floors. sheets felt like there was sand in them. felt like unsafe area. will not stay at motel 6 again, will not refer anyone.
