VERY bad service! Room was dirty! In fact on arrival we found someone else's contact in the sink and hair everywhere that was NOT ours. We would absolutely not recommend.
Road Construction made getting there difficult.
Close to where we were going and good price
Thought they had a pool. Had the swim picture. But there is no pool
No charge for pets!
I have travelled the world and I believe I received bug bites at this motel.
Nothing positive to say really. The wifi is the only thing that comes close to fair/good.
Hair and stains on the bedding and towels, floors were dirty and broken, and they ask for you to hang and re-use the towels...but the towel bar was broken. Not a good experience at all.
I liked the price, convenience to freeway.
I did not like: 1 - facility is located behind a bar with very loud music 2 - property is not fenced with no security personnel 3 - people allowed to congregate outside on the premises at all hours, non-customers in parking lot present concern for the safety of guests and their vehicles 4 - lobby and hallways smell like mildew and cigarette smoke 5 - only one luggage cart in the building, where is it? 6 - supposed to be a no-smoking building, people smoking cigarettes in the lobby, on the elevator and in the rooms 7 - I killed a spider in the room 8 - stained bed sheets 9 - dogs barking in rooms 10 - room air conditioning in disrepair 11 - room toilet was nasty 12 - loud guests I expected a no-frills room for a bargain price. I booked for 4 nights but I could not, in good conscience, subject myself or my family to this environment for even one night. I checked out soon after checking in, had to pay for the first night anyway and made arrangements to stay elsewhere. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Nothing at all.
First the service was poor. The lady was rude and not only that after identifying myself as military and asking if there was a military discount I was completely ignored. Next, I went up amd down stairs three times with a faulty key and finally moved upstairs to a different room. When I finally got in my room it was musky and stall. Did not smell well. The beds were small and hard. Pillows were almost non existent (very cheap) the tv was secured to the most in convenient spot in the room and wasn't able to rotate to see from my bed.
Young lady named connie made our stay wonderful.
No complimentary shampoo and conditioner. I don't pack these when traveling.
Price. Doors to rooms inside the building (like a hotel).
Water damage with peeling paint in my bathroom and in the public stairwell. The bedroom floor felt kind of grimy. There were stains and holes on/in the bed linens. The 2nd floor is all smoking rooms, except the 4 rooms on one end. We were in 2 of the non-smoking rooms on the end, and the smoke smell was really strong in the hallway. The rooms themselves smelled OK. I don't understand why they don't make the 3rd floor a fully smoking floor instead; that way, non-smokers on the 1st and 2nd floors don't have to endure such a overwhelming smoke odor to get to their non-smoking room(s).
Price was ok and location was great!
I stayed at the facility for two nights. The first night was ok. There was some type of party going on in one of the nearby rooms. I was able finally able to fall asleep, but it took a while. The second night there was another party going on in a nearby room. Thankfully the cops were called but not until sometime early morning. Again, falling asleep was a problem. I understand that young people want to have fun and what not, but for a business traveler working 16-17 hour work days this was not one of my better stays. Overall however, the facility was clean and comfortable enough.
The hotel had a stuffy and cigarette smell inside the lobby and rooms which I tried different rooms. I only could handle one night as I woke up with a head ache from cigarette odors. The TV didn't even work in the bedroom.
Good location comfort and value
need more towels
I left behind an electric toothbrush charger and they were kind enough to send it to me in a FedEx envelope which I had sent them.
location was good, rooms were clean
pillows were not as comfortable as other hotels
I like the staff, thay are so kind and friendly people.
I need little bit of facilities, for kitchen tools.
It was a roof over my head while i was in McKinney.
The heater didn't work nor did we have hot water for showers. The bedspread had a bunch of holes and there was only a half of a roll of toilet paper. The smell in the staircase was horrible. There was a long black hair on one of the pillows and it was very small for the money. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I liked the concept of design he was going for.
The elevator was dirty, my beds had cigarette burns & holes in them, stuff was peeling off the sides of the wall. My first impression was not good, will not be staying there again.
The price was great...Good location.
The ac didn't work well and it was a little warm in there. The bed was really hard and the pillows were flat, but I always take my own anyway, so no big deal there. It was however what was expected for the price, but a soft bed and cleanliness is most important.
friendliness of staff
no shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great-right down the street from football stadium, close to stores and restaurants, etc. I will love to stay there again because of using less time to all the places I needed to go. I used less gas during my visit to McKinney, TX because of motel location.
I miss the free beakfast that the motel didn't offer, but had good coffee. I wish there were microwave, refrigerator, and iron/ironing board in the room.
The cost and location
The entire hotel smelled so bad of cigarettes that we bought some air freshner and sprayed it whenever we left our room. The elevator was the worst smelling. There were families there and they let young children run up and down the hall until after 10pm. The beds were very uncomfortable and there were huge stains on the bedspreads and the air would not turn off.
The people above my room made to much noise all night and day hitting the walls and stomping the floor
