Motel 6 New Orleans - Near Downtown  

The room was very large, and had electrical outlets in usefull places

We had hoped for a microwave & fridge.

the room was clean.

No Wifi. On and off. But mostly off.

The morning staff was friendly.

This motel is located in a bad neighborhood! Check-in had to be done while standing outside and sliding information through a small opening to the clerk who was standing behind bars. The room had no hair dryer in the room and none to lend. The one chair in the room was shabby as was the furniture in lobby. The pillows were flat. There was no elevator which made getting to the second floor difficult for a disabled individual.

Couldn't understand the man who signed us in. His english was very poor.

Cheep, Quiet and Good to have shower and rest after a long busy day. Free WiFi. Easy to find a meal next door and around few blocks.

Some of the guys at the front desk had poor reception. The WiFi sometimes had poor signal. No fridge

The only thing was only probably the location close to downtown, that's about it.

The mattresses were dirty and extremely out of date, front desk attendant "Harry" was rude, lack of cleanliness. The price for staying should have been way less cheaper for the hotels conditions.

Right next to very noisy interstate. Very loud guests. People coming and going all night long. Called the front desk to complain and was basically told to handle it myself. If I were Booking.com I would not list this hotel

Quite calm, nice staff

You need a car to go to the city - no public transfer near the motel.

Good place to stay for the price.It was clean and had a subway in the parking lot and many other stores in walking distance.Also just a short ride to the french quarter.

No elevator and the carpets need a good shampooing.

Good location although near the interstate we were not disturbed by the noise of traffic

Rude front desk. Found wet wash cloth hanging from towel rack. Room was not as clean as could have been and bed was old and not comfortable.

Your above choices made me laugh.

The hotel was run down & dirty. No hair dryer, alarm clock, shampoo etc. .Phone was filthy. Shower moldy. Sink faucet fell off.

Clean, Large nice Room. Good price for the location.

Close to Highway. Try to get an even numbered room to be away from the highway.

It was low cost and close to the city.

No shampoo in bathroom and few towels given. It was okay for the price, didn't go with high expectations, so wasn't disappointed.

The only thing I can say was likable was it was available for superbowl on short notice at a lower price than everything else.

The first night staying there a cockroach was found in the bathroom. Although there were no bed bugs. When going downtown the cabs did not want to take us back since all the money was downtown rather than driving 10 minutes out of the busy section. So make a friend with a cab driver and get his personal number so he will pick you up when you need it. The hotel didn't help getting us a taxi either, we waited over an hour and it never came. One morning the staff knocked on our door telling us it was passed checkout time but we weren't leaving till the next day and that night coming back to the hotel our key was deactivated.

the first floor rooms allow pets and smell horrible the neighborhood is sketchy

Did npt like this hotel at all. The outside doors lock and you need to use your room key to enter the hotel and trust me, you want that security for this location.

The welcoming commitee was a roach crawing up the wall next to the door. The room smelled of a strong indian food odor at all times. This hotel probably cost forty dollars normally but because it was Super Bowl weekend it was two hundred per night. The furniture is old and dirty and the carpet should be burned. Housekeeping gave us 1 towel every day after I asked for 3.

The room was spacious and clean

The check in was extremely slow and we were charged more to have a disability room even though I had put a comment in about it when booking. This happened on both occasions we stayed there

It was simply a place to lay our head for a night.

We stayed in room 203. The carpet in our room was filthy, didn't dare walk on it barefoot. Also, there were blood stains on the mattress (on the bed we did not sleep on), what looked to be a blood stain a pillow case and there was blood splattered on our bathroom wall and on the hair drier.

It was located near a lot of things: grocery store, fast food restaurants, gas stations. Very convenient

There were roaches in the room, no shampoo or lotion, no mini fridge or microwave

Only minutes from the French Quarter. Clean room. Manager was superb. And the price...let's not forget the great value!

The only drawback I can think of is the parking. You have no access from the outside to your room, you have to go inside and then find your room. Limited parking means you may/may not be able to see your vehicle from your window. For those of us on motorcycles it is a problem as we like to be able to glance out and see them at any time.
