Score from 206 reviews Very good
pool, ac, not busy
no breakfast, busy road, not so clean
Quiet, clean, loved having the fridge and microwave in my room after the gal at the front desk told me I wouldn't have one! They have green tea in lobby with the coffee. I didn't try the pool but it looked nice and clean.
Their WiFi wasn't working. I was there for 2 nights so that was kind of a drag.
Filthy hall carpet,no sink stopper,no tissues,no toiletries,no clock,bug in bed(not a bedbug)
It was close to I-25
It wasn't very clean
I booked here with no expectations and was very surprised. The location was great. My room was clean and comfortable. The property was quiet. I would stay here again
They do not provide tissues in the rooms! We asked for an ironing board upon arrival at 7:30 p.m. and they couldn't provide one for us until 11:00 a.m. the following day. They don't keep track of who borrows them. Girl behind counter could not have cared less. If this is an example of Motel 6...never again.
Friendly receptionist. Close to everything. Price was good.
Other disrespectful customers.
Location of motel
The shower head was leaking and outlet was broken.
My husband and I loved the closeness to downtown. We also enjoyed the hot spa, after walking all day.
Rooms are spacious and very well equipped. Former EconoLodge property so better than most Motel 6 properties.
Big & clean room, near to Wallmart and a lot of mexican restaurants, far from centre of the city and not a good zone
Pool was terribly dirty, Receptionist told us in 3 hrs will be cleaned but after 4 hrs was worst...
Bedroom does NOT smell like cigarettes, it does indeed smell like nobody has smoked there... sheets and room in general was very clean.
Carpets on hallway were a tad worn not as clean..
I had 3 rooms. All where good. Great location. No coffee or breakfast. Great for the money but no extras.
updated and clean, nice hot tube
I liked that the room was pretty big and bathroom as well, wasn't as dirty as I thought it would be and that it was cheap.
The front desk lady was incredibly rude and condescending. No customer service skills at all, If it wasn't for my wife being very tired and just wanting to lay down, I probably wouldn't have stayed there. Also the pillows were very old and completely flat! Which made sleeping harder.
The room did not smell good. I had to ask the front desk for some deodorizer.
the pool and spa looked nice but we didn't have time to try them. the room was very spacious. Internet was reliable but slow.
everything was tatty and institutional. The place needed a renovation and thorough cleaning. The location is too far out of the center and not walking distance from any decent restaurants, although it is right on a major road going into the center from the interstate.
We paid $50 for a room on a Saturday night. The room was clean and comfortable, so we were happy. The motel is a few minutes (driving) from Trader Joe's and the Railyard District, about 15 minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza.
The first-floor hallway smelled strongly like cigarette smoke. The wifi would cut off and ask us to re-enter the password frequently (approx. every 30 minutes). There was no continental breakfast. The room had no microwave or coffee maker.
Carpet seemed newer and the toilet was a newer, push button type. AAA/AARP rate of $44 including tax for two. Room was clean.
Kleenex holder but no kleenex. Screw holes in wall for hair dryer, but no hair dryer. No shampoo, conditioner or lotion in room. Tiny soap. Old, cumbersome analog TV. Outdated furnishings, bedspread and thin sheeting. Breakfast area, but no breakfast and poor excuse for coffee. Dbl, not queensize, beds. Cramped bathroom.
The access to rooms was poor, no kleenex you had to pay for a box and the same with the shampoo, none, if you wanted it you had to pay for it. Asked the desk clerk about it and he said the owners told him we don't have to provide that stuff. I was lucky my room had microwave and small fridge he stated as those rooms that still have them are few and when they go bad they will not be replaced. As I was checking in 2 people were asking for refunds because of the above problems. The owners of this 6 also own 2 more in Sante Fe.
This place is great for visiting Santa Fe - just a short drive downtown, but lots of restaurants nearby. Good clean rooms with comfortable bed.
Pillows could have been better.
I would recommend this mainly for its value for money, considering how expensive everything is in central Santa Fe. It is about a ten min. drive from the center so not too bad. The building and the corridors look very run down but the room and bathroom were clean and in the end, that's all that mattered to me.
The wifi wasn't very strong, the breakfast almost non existent,
So far nothing
A staff tried to manipulate us to pay more than what we anticipated. When I confronted she changed her words and later apolozied. Not reliable staff.
