frendly employees, clean
Late check in. Liked that front desk was manned all hours.
No hair driver or kleenix in room. I was counting on both. Also, no cart to bring in suitcases etc in from the car and it is a long walk to get to your room because all rooms are inside access. Numbering of rooms was weird and clerk didn't provide instructions to find room 114.
The laminate floors in the rooms are nicer than skeevy motel carpet. The check in girl was friendly. The location was convenient.
The premium wi-fi, for which we paid an extra 4.98/night PER DEVICE, (not per room!) was down the first night and not fast enough for my kids to run their PS3 on the second night. The expanded cable... also down, only half of the channels worked. Hardest beds in the universe.
Price is good Location is convinient
No microwave There is another Motel 6 right across the street which makes it confusing the first time we arrived.
The rooms were beautiful and the staff was friendly.
There was no coffee maker, microwave or mini fridge. It would have been nice to have had those in the rooms.
All new must see...
that you have to pay foe wifi
Nothing. This motel needs to be shut down and remodeled.
The location was terrible, there was a strip club directly behind our room, and the first room that we were given was a "non smoking" room that had obviously been smoked in. When asked to switch rooms, we were put into a room that smelled strongly of urine. Our 4 year old son said that it smelled like "grammies kitty litter box". The workers were so incapable of anything that we did not try to get a refund or at least a discount for having such a horrible stay. When we called to try and get some kind of compensation, we were told that they would give us $10 but that we would have to come in person to get it. We live 4 hours away, so this was not possible. This was by far the worst hotel experience that both my fiance and I have ever had. Also, when you look up the hotel online, it shows a picture of the motel 6 that is across the street which is much nicer and has a pool. We found this to be very deceiving. One more thing, they are doing construction but do not tell you this until after you check in and you see signs hanging in the hall which tell you this. They need to tell people that there is construction being done at 8 am when booking the place.
Room looked nice. Was clean.
Wifi not included in room fee. I paid for high speed, couldn't properly use the Internet at anytime, slower than molasses. Complained to night Clerk, he seemed dull. I got a refund in morning. Construction in lot woke me early, too loud. Large, deep pools of water in parking lot--holy hydroplain risk, batman. Needs work.
I liked the maids-they were all the nicest and most helpful I ever met.
Strip club in same parking lot, key cards constantly stopped working and locked us out several times, cold echoing hard wood floors, no hot water in sink, rooms and halls were bright neon orange, and the day front desk guy was rude.
Wi fi should be free
The area and people staying were pretty ghetto. I was worried about leaving my car over night. But it was the cheapest to stay at so I shouldn't complain. The 2 guys that checked us in and out were awesome!
i liked location, and the configuration of the Desk where i worked. Fridge, Microwave, and AC worked. bathroom was clean. towels were replaced.
Bed was real stiff and hard. No video surveiliance here. worried about my Vehicle. Traveling with too many valuable items. be nice if there was theft prevention camera's on site. Pool could be open longer and heated. LOL. Bed is what really annoyed me.
Location and price were the best features of this hotel.
No coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator in the room. If there was coffee available to guests I was not told about it. Blanket was thin and inadequate I was glad that I had my own with me. It's a chore just getting things in and out of the room. The room was set up for handicap guests but I don't think a solo person that's handicapped could function independently in this room.
Guest from room above getting up to the bathroom a 100 times at night with heavy footstep. Poor isolation between the floor levels.
Very clean rooms and grounds
Smoking area next to pool, wind blew smoke over pool area.
The accebility the people in the front desk gave us even though he was new and the training the lady was giving him was excellent.
It was clean and quiet.
The bathroom had bad lighting and it was too small.
Great location. Easy to find.
Room smelled bad. Stale cigarette smell.
Clean, quiet, pleasant staff, free parking
Wi-Fi is paid separately (not expensive) and is horribly slow (I tried the slower version, but the faster is supposed to be only twice as fast - two times horrible is still horrible). In other motels I get for free much better Wi-Fi then here paid.
The staff was very kind
Poop on carpet very smelly room. I checked out 3 days early and haven't received refund. Not happy
If you basically just need a place to sleep at night, it serves the purpose. It's by no means a luxury experience, but if you just need a bed and a bathroom for a couple of nights, then it does the job for a reasonable price. Don't stay here if you're looking to have relaxing time in your room.
My room did not have a fridge or microwave. I also asked the front desk to call a cab for me, but was told to do it myself in the room, but my room phone did not work. The deadbolt on my door also popped out when it was open and so I couldn't close the door, and hotel staff wouldn't come to look at it and told me I had to "wiggle the door handle around" which also did not work. The walls are also very thin; I would recommend downloading a white noise app on your phone for when you sleep and then it's no big deal.
Honestly, other than the price everything was sub-sub standard.
Unclean sheets (unchanged) Sticky furniture Charge for uselessly slow WiFi And attitude of the desk clerk in the morning.
location, clean, quiet
no coffee maker or refrigerator... no hot tub
Easy to find, convenient to Portland and Bridgeport Village
No free wifi, bed was like a wooden plank, obvious spelling mistakes on the notices in the room, a little pricey for a motel 6 given the other options in the area.
