no free WIFI
The young lady behind the desk wasore interested and in talking with her friends than the guest checking in. The last time I staued here my car was broken into.Because of no lighting on the side parking lot. It was funny that I didn't get a review on line that time.
It was close to get to, not downtown, for what we needed it was adequate. I was able to get a shower and a warm nights sleep. The bed was a l
The bed was a little small
Not very clean Barbell dropping contest most of the night in the room above us Couldn't regulate the room temperature Took 2 tries to get a key that worked
The location was good and the rooms were clean.
Clogged the toilet and they made me go down to the front lobby and pick up a plunger and plunge it myself. The towels felt like sand paper.
The room and rate I booked on Booking.com was not honored. I reserved a non-smoking room and was placed in a smoking room at a higher rate than what I reserved.
Beds were great
No internet,manager was very rude
Staff was friendly Cheap price Convenient location
Paid for Internet. It didn't work, but I got my money back. Floor was filthy when I came into my room. There was a peanut and a lot of hair on the floor.
Front desk lady was nice. Overall the room was clean accept floor. Bed was clean.
The room was on the first floor The floor was dirty, and felt cold. The parking lot was unlit and creepy. The grounds were dirty. Young people ran up and down halls yelling until 2am and dogs stated barking at 5am! We were unable to see a room or check in at 2 because they had only one cleaning lady. NEVER AGAIN! My 25 year old son went back to car and texted me " Don't stay here its dirty.". It was to late I reserved through booking.com and could not change. Room smelled like mold.
We liked the location. Right off highway with a mall and theater right across the street. It was a short ride to downtown Portsmouth which was our destination purpose.
The price was high for a night's stay. Although the room was cleaned it lacked some basic things that are a necessity. No Kleenex, no shampoo, the smallest bar of soap I ever saw that did not lather, no clock, no coffee pot and no hair dryer. Also the towels were so thin and so small! I'm not a big woman and the towel didn't wrap around me.
No breakfast. On one way driveway leaving.
Price a bit high
I really liked the cleanliness. I liked the handicapped bathroom. The location was near a grocery store...Trader Joe's!
I would love a granola bar and/or apple to go with the morning coffee. It would add hospitality to the overall stay while not providing a lot of expense.
The Clerks at the desk were very friendly and helpful.
No Free internet. Slamming of doors. Appeared very industrial and not very cozy.
no ac , very very hot in room Couldn't open window , Bed terrible Room smelled No clock Toilet was broken
Main floor level. Appropriate for cost.
In handicap room, no tub. Hand held shower only, when finished shower half the room full of water which took at least half an hour to recede.
The hotel staff was not welcoming and eager to solve a few significant problems we faced staying at this place. We reserved a queen size bed room but had been given a full bed one. First, the stuffer tried to convince us that was a queen bed. Then, the receptionist admitted that the full size but said (literally): "When you make a reservation, it doesn`t mean that you are going to get the same room that you reserved, it means you`ll get a ROOM." He is likely to want to say that we were not supposed to sleep outside on the plastic beds near the swimming pool. So,we paid over $100.00 for getting a ROOM. Iit`s just one episode. I can`t say we enjoyed staying at Motel 6.
Loved that there were no carpets.
Everything was very pleasant and satisfactory.
We had a good stay at the hotel. No problems except they did not honor the booking.com price. I ended up paying a higher price.
I booked the room on this site 30 minutes before arriving at the motel, so it was not that surprising that the reservation hadn't shown up yet on the hotel's e-mail, BUT that did not excuse the clerk's insistence that I hadn't paid for the reservation--and almost charging me for the room again! The e-mail did show up while we waited, so I wasn't. Then we were given a room with someone in it, and we had to wait another half hour before getting another room, at 11:30 p.m. And the bathroom door did not close.
Decent location. near the highway. The young man who checked us in gave us a recommendation for a place to eat in Portsmouth and it was the best meal we had on the trip. Good advice
the color scheme in the rooms is bright and awful. not conducive for relaxation and sleep. we ended up in a handicap room and there was absolutely no place to put anything down in the bathroom except on the floor. Not going to put my stuff on the floor.
