The room was very clean. Staff was very helpful. Beds were comfortable and bathroom towels were adequate.
Good Wifi, and it is really close to down town.
We requested and were quoted for a single large queen bedroom, when we got there we got a double small bedroom and the price was about $40 more than our quote on booking.com The front desk employee was wearing a shirt that was about 4 sizes too small, and while I felt sorry for her that they didn't have any big enough for her (and she was really nice) it looked REALLY bad for the company plus the hotel had obviously been remodeled to look swanky, but nothing was fixed. The place was still rundown with just a new coat of paint.
Location, right around the corner from Gaslamp. Rooms were clean. Staff friendly, lots to do in area.
Rooms were old looking with a new paint job, still clean though
Polite chambermaid and staff who fixed the aircon
Just the location
Dirty and old hotel. Towels are dirty and rooms smell. If you can afford go stay in better hotel. This is just horrible place.
The floors were filthy. Furniture was old and refrigerator stand was broken. No microwave, iron, hair dryer, or even towel hooks. Pool was also dirty. Parking lot spaces were very narrow making it difficult to park and also enter and exit parking lot. Dirty dirty dirty.
Proximity to the airport is the biggest advantage of this hotel.
Within earshot of the airport.
We enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff. They were great in assisting us for parking arrangement and shuttle service.
Free Parking Big and Clean Room Walking Distance to The Casbah Walking Distance to convenience store Free Wifi
Too few towels in room Parking was full at night, parked on street. Planes fly very close since the airport is a couple of miles away.
It was cheap, close to the airport and clean
My room smelled of bleach
Rooms are accommodating . Flat screen tv, Right off I-5. Staff is courteous and friendly, Recommended an excellent restaurant near by
Close to the SAN Landing Strip. Low lighting in rooms. No microwave
Remodeled Rooms, OK Area, Friendly Staff
Hard to find, Room smelt like cat pee, Wifi did not work,
It was very handy for San Diego airport (less than 1 mile) & the harbour/Seaport Village (less than 2 miles).
It was noisy because the planes flew very low overhead. It was okay for 1 night that we were there.
every thing in the good listed above.
in line with air port every time a plan went over it woke me up so only slept maybe 4 hours every night that i spent their.
Great location. Didn't expect much, just needed a place near the airport.
It smelled in the room. Bed was hard. But it's a hotel, so we weren't shocked.
The price was great! You get what you pay for. It was a comfy sleep. The room was quiet, yes the crazy close loud airplanes is true, but didn't interupt my sleep.
Parking lot was small, room smelled like mold very strongly, our shower leaked on the floor like a waterfall, and the location was very industrial. Overall though for what we paid would stay again of needed.
The location was ideal for my purpose of attending a nearby conference on Shelter Island.
Being directly underneath the flight pattern of the San Diego Airport
I had made a booking prior but on arrival no record of booking.
The women on the staff in the morning of July 3rd was so helpful and polite.
The woman at the desk when I checked in on Wednesday July 2nd (I believe her name is Ilene) was so rude and not accommodating what so ever to my needs. The room smelled so heavily of Pine Sol she just suggested I open a window.
Staff was very friendly.
As I walked to my room, I didn't entirely feel safe at it's location. An offer was made to walk me to my room, but, they took so long in the office, I made a mad dash by myself.
