the staff was very friendly and helpful
I was very impressed with the motel. Modern upgrades, comfortable, quiet. The staff was friendly.
The water pressure of the shower was way too soft, but this was just a minor downfall.
Able to park right outside of room
Sheets were pilled, poor quality. towels threadbar ,e. Modern rtro design design was very sterile feeling. very overall poor value. Could hear neighbors on all sides. Very over-priced.
Payed too much for something so cheap looking. The location was horrible. But most importantly, the staffs were rude and useless!
Noisy freeway Noisy A/C Dirty $200/night and no free wifi, no tissus, no shampoo, no conditioner; no breakfast... The bathroom was really dirty.
Location was a little a bit out but nothing to far... We would get a taxi to the old town trolly stations for 6 dollars but then the trolly was 5 dollars to use for the day. The hotel itself was very clean safe and basic.
There is a bus service right outside but we were there when comic con was on so they were always delayed due to heavy traffic.
Great deal. Very happy with the price and newly vamped rooms. Enjoyed a great family vacation.
Parking is a little crazy in the evenings. Lot gets super full and ended up having to park in next door lot.
Across to freeway, easy to get around
Call for maintenance because of a leaking toilet, maintenance didn't show up until 1 day after my call. Floor was soaked with water.
You have to REQUEST PARKING even if you are a guest, which we did. However we arrived late & Parking is ridiculous- spaces that are avail were so tight to get in/out of. You have to check in EVERY guest when you arrive after 10pm, and Security took our ID's and did not return them to us. Did not find out until already home, 2+ hours away. Even with all the Security Measures to keep the Peaceful....People still in hallways being very loud at all hours of the night. Beds were not comfortable. No Coffee Pot, no Fridge. Very few towels & pillows. PLENTY of other Hotels very nearby that looked like better option.
Beds were very comfortable! The room was newly remodeled which was nice! Morning shift was very nice!
The evening shift was rude and there was an over all unpleasant smell in the building. I would stay there in an emergency.
Pool area was pristine, plenty of furniture too Room was very clean Hotel Staff very nice and helpful Location convenient to reach all areas of San Diego
decor was retro cool, but a little sterile no ice machine on upper floors
The sleep was great, even though you're next to the pool and freeway, I slept like a baby
The staff was the WORST! When I asked if housekeeping would not come into my room, they still did! When I asked if my request was on my reservation, the response was "oh, it was written in English" WHAT?? And then when I went to express my concern to the manager (Wendy), she was extremely rude. I had to call corporate headquarters to get a resolution. Motel 6 people at corporate were FANTASTIC. Just don't stay in Mission Valley.
location and price
Not enough parking. no coffee makers in room.
Affordable prices, location was within 15 mins away from San Diego attractions like downtown, Sea World, San Diego Zoo ect also the staff was very friendly very professional
Parking was somewhat of a challenge maybe because my room was poolside and limited parking was nearby, also the mattress on the beds were very uncomfortable, hard, let's just say a lot of tossing n turning threw out the night
The front Desk People were very nice and friendly.
I asked for extra towels and everyday had to go into office to request towels
The hotel is on Hotel Circle which makes it very easy to get to just about every part of San Diego within a few minutes drive. Also, the staff was as kind as could be.
After checking in my wife and I got situated in the room. We were getting ready to leave and we couldn't open the door. We were locked in from within the hotel. As odd as this may sound the locking mechanism in the lock had jammed. I had to call the front desk for some help. They came over quickly, tried opening the door from the inside and had the same problem. Maintenance went over checked it out and basically mentioned that they couldn't do anything other than lube the locking mechanism. The pillows and bed were of an extremely poor quality. We might have been better off sleeping on the floor. Early, at about three in the morning my wife woke me up and mentioned that their were cops outside. Sure enough something happened outside and the next morning we found a nice trail of ants in the room. If you are a young couple/family trying to save a buck this might be the place for you. If you are older and want a safe hotel with a good bed pay a little bit more and stay at a nicer hotel. My comments only attest to the experience that I had. I am certain that some people have a great stay at this hotel, unfortunately my experience was rather poor but makes for a rather interesting story to tell.
No Frig. No microwave. No blow dryer. Not enough pillows. TV remote sucked. No ac in the elevator or hallway. No water pressure. Room was decorated like a jail cell. No toilet cover. YUKE!!! Big pipe in middle of the ceiling. Way Over Priced.
Location was great and front desk staff was great overall.
Absolutely no frills. Only small soap bars provided. No shampoo, coffee maker, fridge or microwave in room. For price more was expected. Have paid a lot less at other hotels and got a lot more. Management was poor. We had an issue with what we were charged and the front desk clerk had to go back and ask the "manager" what to do and instead of coming to the desk to handle it themselves since the one clerk already had a long line of guests waiting, the manager just sat in the office and told them what to do. This happened twice.
Room was clean. Convenient to airport.
Room was sparse. No shampoo, no hair dryer, no iron, no elevator. We paid $200 for one night and this is not worth it, but that's all we could find with ComicCon in town. The people in the next room partied until 2 AM. I called front desk and no one answered.
The staff was very helpful and the room was immaculate and very pleasant. I was impressed that there were security guards checking the ID of people entering the parking lot in the evening.
More electrical outlets were needed for patrons needing medical devices.
Easy check in and out.
There wasn't any shampoo. Just two bars of soap so bring your own.
Great Location Great Price Rooms have a great design
Security staff was completely unprofessional. Mattresses were not comfortable
the rooms were modern and clean
the bed was ok
Considering this hotel's location (close to everything) it has to be the best value in the area. Updated room was a big upgrade from Motel 6 stays in the past. The hardwood floors, fresh paint schemes, modern furniture, great location and "VALUE" make this a must-stay for those on a budget!
Security at night Friendly lobby staff / Security personel Coffee in the morning No carpet Comfortable bed Peaceful location
Young housekeepers were rude and unfriendly.
