Score from 298 reviews Very good
Took several calls to get management to call police because of disturbance in next room. Woman pounding on door and yelling at person passed out in next door room. Horrible and scary situation.
Bring your own handsoap and towels. The towels are old and thin, I brought my own as per other reviews and was very grateful. Additionally, my room key wouldn't open my door about half the time, just an added nuisance to go down and get it fixed. There is always someone available at the front desk and they are pretty easy and straightforward to interact with. Will say the staff did not give very good recommendation for restaurants or bar life, info was vague and not that helpful perhaps more direct questioning would help.
The location is really great. Right next to Paseo de Peralta (the main driving road around the city, so you are very well connected via car) also only about a 8 - 10 minute walk to the Plaza (Downtown). Walking up Guadalupe St. takes you past several local restaurants and a visitor center at the train station (there is a great breakfast place - Swiss Bakery - right on the way to downtown!).
Obviously not the greatest hotel but for the money it is hard to beat. The internet worked flawlessly. The bed was a little bouncy, not the best quality. The staff was very friendly and professional.
Staff was the nicest, ever. Room was clean, wifi was fast.
Only stayed one night so the room suited my needs.
Easy to find, short walk into town. Bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was clean.
For a nice area it was cheap comparatively to other hotels but outdated and had paint patches all over bathroom wall etc
Very old motel that need a lot of work.
- not so far from dt santa fe, yet weirdly located - the area didn't feel safe - the room looked dated, the bed was not comfortable
- the staff was nice
Room was 1970s with few updates...much better and less expensive rooms away from Old Town.
Staff was good to us...fairly close to Old Town.
No clock, no TV channel guide. The coffee wasn't available till 7:00.
Great location, price and super clean.
bed was wore out ! No TV guide ?
Cancellation policy Is the best
Staff was not too helpful, could not issue neccessary receipts. At night a man initiated a big scandal, the police was called. There is no guilt of the motel in it, but the visitor must know what to respect. Promised coffee is rather brownish water. The room smells with smoke.
Well placed within walking distance of the Plaza and Canyon Road. Sufficient parking on site. Catering kiosk over the road.
Booked for one night, stayed for 2,will stay again, next time we are in Sante Fe
No breakfast or (good) coffee.
Less than 10 minutes walk to the central part of city. Wifi was good in our room.
doors slaming, funny pot like smell from air conditioner and bathroom fan
Bathroom was very badly fitted and appeared quite grubby, although it was acceptably clean. Hotel in need of some TLC.
Location - less than a mile from downtown. Price - very good value for the location. Staff - friendly and helpful.
Clean & location
Bed is uncomfortable but still ok
Near downtown, gas station, fast food. Staff is very helpful
Hi speed wifi was poor to say the least
Location and price
Room is small & seem not very clean, unstable WIFI connection
Nice staff, 15 to 20 min walking distance to the plaza, easy assibility with supermarkets
If you get there to late at night there is not any parking available.
Service at the desk was awful
Nothing to dislike.
I was especially impressed with how friendly and helpful the young woman at the front desk was in answering our questions. She spent several minutes helping us make our plans and giving us information and advice about where to eat.
