near to the tourist attraction
near the industry area, all the night there is a noiise of the trucks
This was our second stay at a Motel6. Both times we had to sit in the reception to catch a few drops of WiFi. What if Motel6 die the same with water? Just af we dorps a day and if you would-be meed more: go to the reception! WiFi for modern people is a kind like water. We needed WiFi to plan oud trip, look for the weather, restaurants, whatever. Motel6 just wasn't up to it. Maybe a bad experience and there are better Motel6 motels? Maybe. But as a traveler, I don't take the risk to find out. Never a Motel6 again for me.
Nice and big rooms
It was comfortable and spacious.
It was in an area that didn't feel too safe.
Good value, clean rooms.
A bit of a scary neighborhood and the rooms smelled somewhat, but I suppose for the money you can't do much better u less you stay by the airports! The staff didn't have an email so you must fax any changes which is inconvenient.
location close to the metro
old tv, bed, not clean, no fridge, bad for the price
The bed was comfortable Most staff were helpful
No Coffee Machine No hairdryer Old furniture Tatty decor Old style TV Wifi kept cutting out Surrounding area was warehouses and storage units Keycard had to be replaced twice
cheap spot, very close to metro, not far from main areas. cab was cheap to get to main areas of DC. good price
if you're looking for fancy this is not it. it's just in a shady area and the walls are thin but you're paying a really low price
I lost my PS Vita in this hotel
It was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
It is hard to find, far from everything, and the only "amenities" are an ice machine, morning coffee and a soda vending machine. It is tough to feel safe.
Location to the centrum.
We had a mouse in our room. But the stuff was helpfull and we get another room.
the door of my room looked like it was kicked in, and the lock was missing hardware. The wifi didn't work for most of my stay. The t.v. was old and had a damaged screen. In a smoking room you would expect a astray but yet again no ashtray. Also no coffe pot or fridge, which to me are standard in all hotel/motel rooms. Not worth the high price for one night.
clean, near to the metro station
neighbourhood is very poor... (take the highway bridge to the metro, don't pass by the market!), no facilities except from bed and shower (no breakfast, common room etc.), wifi was poor at the room (better outside)
Wifi was very temperamental. Staff were not very helpful or friendly. The room was not ready even though I turned up 4 hours later than originally scheduled. The cab driver also commented on how dodgy area was and made sure he dropped me at the door!
Nothing was near in walking distance. Quality was poor considering the price.
This place is a dump, and should be condemned. We reserved a non-smoking room, and were given a smoking room without a single drawer in which to stow (2) days of clothing. No clock, no phone, no Kleenex. The next room had a non-working air conditioner. No clock, no Kleenex. The fourth room we were given had drawers and a phone; no clock, no Kleenex. The keys the staff programmed for each of our rooms worked exactly once in two days. This place is a dump and should be condemned. We will never consider Motel 6 in the future. You couldn't pay me enough to stay in another one.
clean friendly staff
-can't connect wifi in 201 -need to reactivate room key every single day -12mins walking to metro -poor neighborhood - surrounded by warehouses -loud AC -old TV
Located in the industraial area.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
cleanliness, amenities, really basic
Proximity to Union Station Relatively low price
Keycards failed to work 3 times Bathroom faucet did not work (no water) Bathroom floor extremely slippery
Close to metro
price for the location in the Washington DC area
motel was not updated...and a little run down
The price was cheap and it is close to the metro station.
The Smokey smell of the room. The air con. was switched on high to eliminate the smell but it did not work.
Staff were friendly, daily helpful. Quite near NoMa Metro Station and near New York Ave. (if you are a strong walker) You must walk through a fairly seedy area (warehouse area) - It's ok in the day but at night probably not the best to be walking alone.
Shower bar was broken, room wasn't that clean. Guests in room above were pacing back and forth loudly from 12AM to 2 AM (tweaking?) Towels were like sand paper. Best to stay at Marriott @ NoMa Station - I will next time.
