-"Pay the full amount upon checkin " policy which was not mentioned during reservation. - poor cleaning. - loud music in the mornings. - I hoped l'll save some money but it wasn't a good experience at all.
cleaning staffs were nice. They do their job nicely.
not worth for the money. I won't recommend for a stay more than one night.
- Not clean at all. - WIFI not functional most of the time. - Laundromat could be helpfull - considering its location and general state, the price is not justifiable.
The air conditioning is very noisy. It is cold blowing from the door.
Substantially cheaper than hotels nearby. Great location for driving access and/or the NoMa metro. Friendly staff. Reasonably clean.
It wasn't the Hilton, if that's what you're looking for. The location on New York Ave is a little noisy and not quite completely gentrified. Some of the guests were a bit noisy at night.
Staff wasn't nice. Room have bad smell and bedbugs.
Cost is expensive because no refrigerator and hair dryer. Bed mattress is too soft. Not happy.
Personnel is kind:) I like a free coffee in the morning
Bedding(covers) is too thin!! There is slightly cold
Located very near the train station so movement was easy. Also not far from Reagan Airport.
Very noisy because it is near a road and the sound proofing was poor. Woke up to hammering at our window since they were doing some work on the motel. Did not feel so safe. Carpet was filthy and room cleaning was done poorly. Bathroom not as clean as one would like
Unfortunately we had a very bad experience, a hole in the bathroom wall let at least 3-4 roaches through every day...we even went out to buy poison spray. The room was cold so we asked for an extra blanket & pillow and were told no. The male security guard completely ignored me when I greeted ( and I tried more than once)
Had to reprogram key for room every day. Beds sunk in the middle. Employee argumentative
It was a place to sleep
Most everything else. Toilet plugged, poor construction. Key didn't work well.
Nothing. Terrible place. Terrible service. Extremely dirty.
Everything. I got a refund and left after checking in. The owners or managers didn't care. Why is this listed on your site. 2 stars? Should be a zero rating. A complete dump.
The location was good. When I lost my room key, the manager was able to let me in my room.
I had a lot of issues with the staff at this hotel. They asked me to email a cc authorization form so I could use my business credit card which I did. Then when I got there they said they could only accept a fax which we did not have access to at home. I was able to pay with cash luckily otherwise I would have had to find another hotel. Later in my stay my husband tried to fax my passport photo to the front office and they could not receive it. Extremely dissatisfied with service. There was no bathtub. There were bed bugs and roaches. I have bites ALL over!! The doors did not lock all the way. Very disappointed!!!
The motel is disgusting we got bite by fleas all nights!! The bathroom was dirty as well and the staff was bad they dont even have a map of washington! The motel is in a bad area and nobody tell you that before you got there i would never recommended this motel not even and my worst enemy!!!
A moderately well placed motel, within walking distance of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center (20-30 on foot, depending on your speed). Guarded by a guard overnight. Staff was fine.
The lock on the doors didn't work properly, and the 'free WIFI' had no connection in the room. The WIFI in the lobby sometimes worked, sometimes didn't. TV also had connection issues. Place was pretty noisy during early hours. Nonetheless, still expensive. I also had trouble with the receipt, as they were unable to allocate it to my companies' name.
near to the tourist attraction
near the industry area, all the night there is a noiise of the trucks
Broken tv, no reservation, fixed tv only to have the poorest satellite signal I've ever seen, waited 30 minutes for a room to be cleaned at 4 p.m., and charged us twice for room
This was our second stay at a Motel6. Both times we had to sit in the reception to catch a few drops of WiFi. What if Motel6 die the same with water? Just af we dorps a day and if you would-be meed more: go to the reception! WiFi for modern people is a kind like water. We needed WiFi to plan oud trip, look for the weather, restaurants, whatever. Motel6 just wasn't up to it. Maybe a bad experience and there are better Motel6 motels? Maybe. But as a traveler, I don't take the risk to find out. Never a Motel6 again for me.
1) Free parking
1) Bad and unsafe location 2) Advertised Free wifi , but wifi did not work or speed at 0.22 Mbps. 3) Bed and carpet smells bad. 4) No Coffee maker , no clock
Nice and big rooms
It was comfortable and spacious.
It was in an area that didn't feel too safe.
Good value, clean rooms.
A bit of a scary neighborhood and the rooms smelled somewhat, but I suppose for the money you can't do much better u less you stay by the airports! The staff didn't have an email so you must fax any changes which is inconvenient.
location close to the metro
old tv, bed, not clean, no fridge, bad for the price
The bed was comfortable Most staff were helpful
No Coffee Machine No hairdryer Old furniture Tatty decor Old style TV Wifi kept cutting out Surrounding area was warehouses and storage units Keycard had to be replaced twice
