One of the nights I spent in the Motel 6 one of the customers drink so much and woke up everyone in the floor I was and took forever to stop yelling
Mouse in my room
location for where I had to be
management and staff just do'bt give a #@# about the comfirt of customers.. full of kids slamming doors and coming ad going to the wee hours of the morning.
It's a place to sleep...can't say much more
There are many bedbugs in the room. We got may bites (several dozens) from the bedbugs. We killed at least 15-16 of them on the first night. Some of them were full of our blood. We did not sleep at all over the night and had to check out in the next morning. This Motel 6 should be closed, at least its operation should be suspended, because the bedbugs can transmit infectious diseases and could be a treat to the public health. The room is very noisy. The noise from the street come through the window easily. Also, the room was shattering when the elevator was in operation. There was no shampoo supply in the room. The front desk told us we can get it from vending machine in the hull way, but there was no shampoo at all in the the vending machine.

Allot of crazy loud folks up in the hotel and kept us up all night with shouting, SLAMMING of doors, running in the hallways and smell of smoke throughout all the hallways and I had a non-smoking room but oh
Quick check in Fresh coffee in the morining Clean room Comfortable bed Vending machines in lobby Short walk from Takoma Metro station
Couldn't get AC working, despite multiple calls to front desk Booking.com sent my reservation for 32 days instead of 1
Nothing at all.
First off the staff didn't seem to care one bit after we requested for a new room the very night we checked in because of roaches and ants!!!!! My girlfriend and I had to stay in the roach infested room for three sleepless nights in her birthday because they wouldn't refund our money. Plus there were stains on the sheets, and roaches in the tub and on the walls every morning. I am not happy with my stay there, nor will I ever refer anyone else thete. Honestly, it needs to be shut down.
personal promissed to give us at least room with the window in the garden...it did not happend, dirty feeling from the room, broken equipment, not possible to buy even water in the automat...cocacola is everywhere...very expensive for such a standard... I sleep good everywhere, but I have been glad to leave from there
Roaches in the room
One front desk clerk was helpful and courteous.
All the others snubbed at us with a NO.
That I will never go back
TV reception was poor, knobs missing off air conditioner/heater unit, flooring was coming up in spots, floor was sticky only 1 mirror
There were mice/rats everywhere in the hotel. We booked two rooms and we found out the very next morning that we were visited by mice/rats and they ate our food. There were bite marks all over our food. This happened in both of the rooms we booked. We found a hole in the wall which we blocked so the mice or rats wouldn't enter again. The next night we were woken up by squealing and scratching sounds behind the wall which we blocked earlier, as if they were trying to enter through the hole. We reported this to the motel staff and they didn't really seem to care at all about he situation. They told us that the motel is fully booked and that they will give us a new room the next day. We were transferred to a new room and we found out that they rented our earlier rooms to other customers just like nothing has happened. And last but not least, there are cockroaches every where. I read reviews warning about mice/rats and I didn't believe them at first. But it turned out to be true and the motel or it's staff doesn't seem to be giving a thing about it. If you don't want to be visited by mice/rats every night and you value your health, don't go anywhere near this place. Oh and I forgot to mention, do not use the towels they offer you. They are worn out and full of hair.
Clerk was friendly
crabs and lice in the bathroom bedspread had stains room was filthy! hair dryer was broken mini fridge was broken Internet was beyond SLOW Guard was sitting and texting on his phone....didnt feel he was protecting ANYBODY!!
-location...bus stop very close -security in the lobby
-blanket was dirty -heater too loud and the blanket too thin...not good when its getting colder outside... -old bathroom
Location is close to main tourist attractions
Nonworking keycards, had to go 3 times downstairs and back to make 'em work. Blankets with cigaret burns. Stained sheets -- had they murdered someone in the room?
Room was dirty, had to go buy bed sheets, there were cockroaches, place smelled horrible, tv didn't work,
It was close to public transport, and wasn't too difficult to find. We were upgraded to a larger room because they had lost my reservation, which was good. The lady at the desk was helpful, but hard to understand.
The hairdryer didn't work, the floors felt sticky, and the bed was very squeaky. We called for linens for the sofa bed, but they never came. There wasn't an iron or ironing board in the room.
I stayed at Room 216. To my greatest shock, I kept being bitten by something and when I checked, i saw BED BUGS all over the bed. I had to sleep on the floor for the duration of my stay from October 11 to 15 2014. If in doubt ask a stff to spend the night in the said room to confirm my assertion. It's a shame really
-dirty walls -dirty bedsheet
location was enter city close to friends and relatives
the staff was unprofessional and did not adhere to request for a non-smoking room .burn marks on furnishings in room the. sleep accomodation ok but the bathroom was a disaster. old with extensive damages to the door that would'nt close, tub and surronding areas no advantage to moving; was asked to check out. stayed due to funeral next morning
Motel 6 is a very acceptable and well run facility. It could be basic, at the very least, but it offers all the requirements for an enjoyable stay.
Our room was clean...that was about the only thing I liked.
I did not like the prostitutes that were standing in front of the hotel when we returned from dinner at 9:30 pm. I did not like the women in the room 3 doors down from us who was screaming at a man inside about him paying her her $75 because she told him that she costs $75 an hour before he got her up there. I did not like that when I asked for a replacement comforter because the one on our bed was stained and had cigarette burns in it I was told that they did not have an extra comforter so I had to go to the SafeWay down the road and buy a blanket for us to use. I have stayed in a few not so nice hotels over the years but this one takes the cake. It is completely unacceptable to have prostitution or even the illusion of prostitution going on in a hotel where people bring there families. I cannot believe that I gave this place my hard earned money. My husband and I went to DC celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary and the experience we had at this hotel completely ruined our trip. Thank you Motel 6.
