Brand new rooms Very clean Close to Grand Canyon (1h)
Lot of smoke as some rooms are smoking rooms, that is clearly the main drawback A bit expensive the main door let smoke and noise come in which is too bad otherwise this hotel would be a winner slow wi-fi
I've stayed at this hotel like 3yrs ago. They've remodeled since then no its great. It has a great look now flat screen tv, bed was comfortable. Great deal for the money.
Parking lot could use more lighting a bit dark.
Rooms are big and clean
The girl at the front desk was not very nice, and the building smelled like cigarettes and weed
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, first when we walked in the hotel had a terrible smell. The staff at checkin was not friendly. The rooms appeared to be ok but the walls are thin and you can hear everything in the next room. This is pet friendly so there was a dog barking everytime someone walked down the hall. We checked out at midnight to avoid having to stat there any longer. And when I checked out the guy at the front counter was more concerned about his girlfriend being there to visit than trying to fix any issues we had. He said maybe 2 words and handed me my reciept. Yes it was only $50 for the night but to me it still isn't a good deal. Also wifi didn't work. Overall very dissatisfied.
Smell, barking dogs, unfriendly staff, nobody cared if we stayed or not, waiste of money.
The staff was wonderful and the hotel was just marvelous for what you pay.
Nothing that I can think of.
It was quiet!
good price / value for $ beds are good nice town
small parking entrance door not convenient when entering with suitcase
This was our base for a family trip that included the Grand Canyon. The rooms were newly remodeled and the bed was very comfortable. A great deal for the price.
Parking was somewhat limited. Outside grounds / landscaping can use a little improvement. The rooms were recently done however so it exterior may be coming soon.
A big, clean, modern room and close to the grand canyon (about 1 hour drive). It was great that they had a microwave to use in the common area.
The motel was a great value and good location, not far from the Grand canyon.
The room was "spartan." Very large room, and very bare of furniture other than the beds.
near grand canyon, clean
The room was very large, good bed, clean, good WiFi. Approx 1 hour to Grand Canyon. The town has a cozy Route 66 feeling, even though a bit too much on the touristy side.
The railroad goes right outside the hotel and with the noise of two trains during the night you don't get much sleep.
Price Location - really central and lovely town. Not too far from Grand Canyon.
Rooms were nice and beds quite comfortable. There was tea and coffee maker in the morning.
Jacuzzi still not working. They should mentioned it before. You have to pay to do laundry, but It's not a lot. I'll probably find something cheaper for the same quality.
it was clean & quiet.
We specified through booking that we needed a handicapped/ADA room. Upon arrival, we were told there were none available, however, they placed us in a very spacious room for a motel with hardwood floors instead of carpeting and a bath that, even though it didn't have the ADA grab bars. My grandmother was at least able to use her walker in there, even if showering was an obstacle.
A lot of little things were "off" about this place. The hotel's wifi never did work, and my discussion with the front desk was dismissed as being "too many people trying to log on" which made no sense with the error codes I was getting. The hot tub was broken. The pop machine was out of order. There was no ADA room. Instead of coffee makers in the rooms, there was "free coffee service" in the lobby, but it was just carafes, sugar and powdered creamer. Not even real milk :/
Nice rooms; nice price but Motel 6 users are noisier than most - arrive late and leave early
Slamming of doors..
Big and clean room, heplful staff, good price, free wifi, good location on a historic route 66 - walking distance to town center with shops and restaurant and about 50 minutes drive to Grand Canyon
Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were big, but no dresser to put clothes.
No dresser, lobby uninviting.
Lge rooms plenty of parking , 5 min walk to main part of town
No Coffee in rooms
Room, cost, not very clean, and entire place smelled.
Spacious....nice looking when you walk in...room was good...slept great.
One of the most expensive we stayed in on our 2 week vacation & no amenities....not even kleenix in the rooms. We know Motel 6 is "basic" but when it costs more to stay there than at another chain (which has amenities...ie continental b'fst/clock/kleenix/etc) it should have something. We more than likely wouldn't pick one of these again.
Nice comfy new beds. Refurbished warm room. Walking distance to town. Clean room.
Smokers odour in hallway that snuck into our non-smoking room. No kettle in room.
Lack of facilities. No breakfast, no newspapers, no icebox, no coffeemaker, no rugs!
The fact that you can call in the middle of the night and book a room for immediate use (this is due to the fact that one other grand motel refused to accept us). Rooms are big and it is clean. Good option for a short stay.
The bath itself is low (plastic) quality.
