Motel 6 Canoga Park  

Location, right time.

The price was more than what I agreed to on-line. There was no indication on-line regarding the different prices explained by the motel 6 counter staff who described different prices for different days. Also, I paid 14% tax which when I asked about it, I was told the state charges 14% tax for motel/hotel stays. Is this true? The water pressure in the bathroom sink was barely a tricle. I called the desk, a man showed up and adjusted the airrator on the fawcet to get more water out. The parking lot was jammed with plumbing supplies; pipes, materials and a large low top dumpster, all which blocked off half of the parking lot. We were forced to walk on a wobbley mud laden piece of plywood at the bottom of the stairs, placed over a 40-50 foot open trench. I slipped and twisted my ankle nearly falling down. In the Sunday morning we were awakened by loud chainsaws from outside our window where large palm trees next to the motel walls and in the parking lot were being cut down and cut into pieces. The overall experience was poor and truthfully, I would like a refund or credit for the two day stay we spent tolerating the noise and the mess which cost $147.00! Very dissatisfied, poor job.

Inexpensive and close to event. Rooms were large.

Run down, shabby. Carpets were filthy. Lobby closed until 7AM=no coffee
