The hole thing
Location and cost.
Breakfast was scarce. There are several minor repairs that needed to be performed.
Easy to get to from the road. The rooms were nice. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay there again.
My daughter loved the pool, although there was no shade. Was heated at night, and had really cool color changing lights. The fire pit and grills where great. Rooms and shower were good. Compared to other cheap hotels, this was one of the better one's we've stayed at.
No flat screen tvs, but even the expensive hotels in Eureka don't have them yet.
We found everything we did in Eureka Springs very satisfactory. Look forward to another trip there.
Low cost. Convenient location.
Hotel was noisy. We could hear any movement above us.
Great location since I had business in both Berryville and Eureka Springs. Very friendly staff.
I was OK with the fact that the Wi-Fi was not secured, (no different than a McDonald's, etc.). However I could not connect to it so I could not utilize the internet that evening.
It had a bed.
Room stunk of smoke. Only 2 towels in the room. Very, very cheap.
The room we got was a king w/spa bath. The bath was awesome. Loved it. Bed was comfortable. It was close to where we were doing our activities.
Didn't like that it took so long to get in our room. We had enough time to get ready for our event that night but, no time to relax. We only stayed one night. Probably a good thing.
We always stay here when in Eureka Springs. We have been staying here for more than 10 years
In general a good value for the money but could stand some updating and more cleaning. The floor was coming up in the bathroom and carpet was fairly soiled.
We love the king bed. It is the best bed we've had at any hotel/motel. The staff are very nice and helpful.
The over all location and the availability of everything.
The prices I was quoted and the prices I paid for 2 rooms was the best of my remembrance was about 40 to 50 dollars more.
We made a last minute decision to go to Euerka Springs over the 4th of July weekend. After browsing lots of hotels, this was the only one that had 2 rooms available for us. The check in was great and easy. The clerk already had everything ready so all I had to do was sign the receipts and go. The rooms were just an average hotel room that you would expect from a cheap hotel (even though it cost $100 a room after taxes) not what I would call cheap especially when the Basin Park Hotel has rooms for $99 before taxes. The first thing we noticed about the rooms were the car Christmas tree shaped air fresheners hanging from the lamps, which we thought was a little odd. But for the purpose and especially last minute, it was ok. The next morning when I tried to take a shower, there was no hot water no matter how long I waited for it to warm up. Since the hotel was booked up and it was about an hour from check out time, I had no choice except to take a cold shower. We did have friends in another room but there wasn't enough time for 5 people to take a shower and get ready all in one room. We went to the front office to check out and ask for a discount since the shower was bad. I have never asked for a refund at a hotel but the 2 purposes for a hotel is a bed and shower so we felt like we should not have to pay full price. The lady at the front apologized and said they had been having water issues and were working on getting them fixed. We asked for a partial refund and she said she would talk to the manager later and call me to let me know his decision. We insisted she talk to him then. She came back saying he would refund us but it was only $20. My husband then went to talk to the manager and he was told that yes they knew the shower was messed up in that room but there was a special technique required to get the hot water to work. I feel as if he should have told us that upon check in and offered to come up and get it working if we couldn't.
The beds were comfortable & the location was good. The room was good for the price.
There wasn't much of a breakfast & there were no vending machines except for a coke machine. We were traveling on a motorcycle (as were others) & it would have been nice to have a place to do laundry
Over priced, poorly maintained and not very clean.
The rooms were larger than expected; the room was clean but really didn't go all out on the nights you stayed.
The balcony is getting shabby and the wood is worn and split. Some of of the concrete stairs were crumbling. The pool was nothing to speak of at all.
Smoke smell in room
I loved Motel 62! We stayed in the Scarlett O'Hara suite. It was nice and quiet with a pretty view of the trees. We arrived very late and soaking wet on our motorcycle and the lady at the front desk was nice enough to dry our clothes for us the next morning. She was excellent in making sure we were comfortable.
The only thing I can complain about is the very uncomfortable king size bed.
The location was good. Well lit. I felt secure. The room had modern decor. However....
The pluming was awful. No water pressure. The shower had only one setting. A straight hard blast. Black Mold growing on the shower head. Toilet would not flush. The water would rise & not go down in the toilet. The buildings not level. There is cardborch folded under the refrig to keep it from sliding off. The tv only gets 10 channels. The managers dog walks around the area where breakfast is served. I called for a Plummer to come fix the toilet. They told me I could go get a plunger & try it myself. Not a place to get a hot shower and unwind. We will never stay again. First time in Eureka Springs and I was hoping for the best.
Jacuzzi was awesome
My husband and I come here every year for our anniversary and just love the king jacuzzi suite. It has a super quiet, and very relaxing atmosphere.
Bed was really comfortable
We had a room in the back it was really loud and the floors creaked bad it felt as if the room wasn't level
