Motel 8 Las Vegas  

Good location for what I wanted to be close to for a fair price on weekend. People work there are super friendly.

Improve more on hygiene; provide more shampoo and soap maybe.

The air conditioner worked kind of.

The roaches that ran into my ear in the middle if the night. The toilet ran all night. It took an hour for the guy to run my business cc during check in.

the place was dirty, the pool was closed. i booked 2 night but only stayed the first night cause i don't feel like staying there again.

Close to strip.

Dead roaches in bathroom. Did not change sheets at all or make bed. After first day no shampoo. Crack in door jam. Sleep with one eye open!

Friendly staff.

The showers needs to be upgraded not alot of water pressure. Need fridge and microwave and cable need more options very little channels. Thier was no water in the pool to relax in the day.

Room reserved ground floor, smoking,#18, had an unsafe and unsanitary toilet held near the drain by one bolt which allowed the assembly to rock and spew sewage when flushed.television manual control with channel down only- long time waiting for the station to come around the rotation.no tv remote control in #101, but the toilet worked.#104 was final room of visit and was offered only four hours after the initial check in.no assistance was offered in getting me to a proper room, no inspection of rooms by management, no accommodation for physical disability and a mere shrug of shoulders when I requested to speak to someone who could adjust to bill to reflect to reflect the unreadiness of the motel to provide useable lodging.the only employees seen were the deli cashiers,one said I'd need to wait till the 3rd to speak to the owner, the next one said I missed the chance to see anyone in authority until the 6 th. No attempt to correct the defects was made and it was clear the staff was on hand to take money,not provide adequate service.I cannot recommend motel 8 unless negligent treatment is desired.

Three rooms before one that was OK,

If your like me and don't mind a low-scale hotel when your in Vegas because you don't plan on staying in your room too much this is the perfect place. I plan to stay here every time! The staff is awesome. The grounds are out dated but clean. They have a 24 hour deli and market attached and your right across the street from Mandalay bay. Perfect for me!!!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms though basic were clean and everything worked. Very very good value for money !

Dirty and smell very bad!

It's on the strip; across from mandalay bay; easy to find from the airport; and I kind of liked the friendly cluelessness of the guys in the Deli/Office. Some reasonable breakfast option would be nice.

Madams and Sirs: Silly as it sounds, their usage of the hardest and scratchiest toilet paper ever was the biggest let down, and actually makes for an uncomfortable stay. I'll say: Upgrade that and you won't loose customers too embarrassed to speak up.

Nothing it was the worse Motel I have ever stayed in.

No running water, could not shower or flush toilet. When problem was reported was told sorry can't do nothing about it.

Location (walking distance from Las Vegas Strip)

- There was a strong smell of still water coming from the bathroom; - we found cockroach in bath tub in the morning; could not take shower; - we asked for compensation for not being able to use what we paid for, but stuff did not care and did not do anything to resolve the situation; - will never again stay in Motel 8

The man didnt give me back my 10 dollars cash for key deposit.

They kept knocking on our door and waking us up even tho we paid and no money refunded for our inconvence not very happy

My kids and I really enjoyed spending the nights at Motel 8 because we loved the exciting nightlife, and everyone on staff were very nice.

There was nothing that displeased me about my stay.

Located right on the Vegas Strip. Rooms are clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Older motel, shabby. Although friendly and helpful, staff did not present a professional environment. Fly by night. Front walls of rooms are very thin. Sounds carry into rooms from outside.

Booking said the cost would be 107.80, but I was charged 125.57.

Very friendly staff, good coffee at the reception, walking distance to the Strip LV South 10 min.

Even I put don't disturb, they open the room!

I liked the location and that it was very affordable. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful for the most part.

The shower walls looked like they needed an upgrade. We requested maid service and didnt get it. Also the maintenance man left the smell of alcohol in our room when he came to fix out remote. The man who worked the check in desk around 4 pm on 3/8/13 wasn't the least bit helpful. And even started talking on his cell phone while I was asking for help. The bed sheets had stains on them.

Price...

Did not have a late check out....owners where rude and forced my drivers to wait outside or they would charge them another night...that is my biggest pet peeve...late check out(especially being in Vegas owners should know that) most likely will not stay again...

Airport noise

I didn't like it at all.. It smelled like ciggarette smoke all day and all night (although we chose 2 smoking rooms and only got one they both smelled pretty bad, and we didn't even smoke in our room) the carpets were really outdated, there is no pressure when you shower and it takes about 5 minutes before the hot water starts to come out, and when you're in the shower the hot water goes from hot to cold every couple of seconds and the bed sheets and blanket seemed to be old and not as cleaned as you'd hope. The T.V has to be programmed everytime you want to see T.V so, you have to press a button press another one until the little red light stops blinking then enter a code then turn the T.V on then you can start watching it and when you do you only have about 5-10 channels to choose from and none of them are good..
