The staff was very polite and the quality if the room was worth the amount paid.
Gnats in the room
The bathroom door needed to be replaced. It had holes in it and the laminate wood covering was peeling off. It wouldn't shut tightly. The lamps needed to be dusted badly.
Right off the highway located in the beautiful mountains just south of Flagstaff, AZ this motel offered exactly what I was looking for, an inexpensive motel where I could relax on still have the ability to get online and check my emails.
Friendly Cozy Bed was comfy Brought my own coffee maker, had everything I needed.
Fan in bathroom was very noisy.
It was not clean, the floors need a good cleaning The furniture needs to be dusted. The room needs repairs The bathroom door needs to be replaced
Outdated carpet (70's?). Towels old, worn and rough.
I liked that the staff honored my booking.com reservation even though booking.com did not send my reservation to Motel in the Pines. The motel honored the same rate from booking.com.
I did not like that booking.com did not send my booking to the motel, I have a receipt from them.
Location---perfect for purpose
They didn't make my bed--was it because my stay was over a weekend?
The location was perfect as a base to visit Flagstaff and surrounding areas. Nice little restaurant across the street too. Priced right and had easy access on and off the freeway. Quiet and very comfortable for a small place.
The bathroom door wouldn't close all the way because it had been bashed in during a previous visitor's fight. That should have been repaired right away.
Wifi wasn't working
location, they have a captive audience
Filthy room, loud, what a mess.
Outside the city.
Bathroom had some mold.
kitchenette but no pots, pans, cups or anything to go with it.
Clean beds, quiet location.
Owner was friendly, for an older property it was better than we might have expected for the low price.
Not the most comfortable beds. New mattresses would be nice.
Warm welcome & nice spacious rooms along with great view from balcony.
Beds could've been more comfortable (on the hard side) and towels were not soft or big enough. Other than that would definitely recommend this little gem.
The dust was everywhere. Both my wife and I had a hard time sleeping. The dust set off allergies for both of us that did not quit throughout the night.
Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Good for travellers on an overnight stop, not good for travellers who want to go to Sedona.
Advertised 8.1 miles from Sedona. Was told this was true, but it was over a forestry road and would take over an hour and a half. Booked because close to Sedona, but it was not. As a result spent 2 additional hours on the road. Internet access did not work in all the time we were booked into the motel. Hairs in the bathroom.
Bed was comfortable
bathrooms could use some attention...nowhere nearby to eat after 7PM
Staff was friendly. Willing to give me whatever I needed.
- No internet access. The reservation stated there would be wired internet access in the room. There was no internet. Not even wifi. Had to walk down to the lobby to have internet access. Had I known this prior, I would not have booked this motel. - Dead bugs in the dresser drawers - Stains on blanket - Heater did not work properly. Knob was broken so you could not regulate the amount of heat you received in the room. It was either on or off.
Great value for the price. Staff is very friendly. It's cozy. This is not some luxury hotel, stay In town if you want spa and luxury. This is a cozy motel nestled in the mountains. Much quieter and less chaotic than those in town. This was my second stay and I will definitely be back.
friendly staff clean, basic rooms
felt a bit unsafe as only had deadbolt, would have prefered also a chain-lock (my 2 year old was able to unlock)... no laundry facilities and no illuminated road signs to help us when entering premises
The room was the dirtiest I have ever stayed in. We only stayed for one night and had them refund the second night. The bathroom had dirt and a layer of dust on the back of the sink. The shower was so dirty I wouldn't wouldn't get in it. The blanket on the bed had old blood on it as it someone had blown their nose in it!!! We came in to the room late and went right to sleep if I had seen all the dirt I would have checked out and slept in my van even thought it was Christmas Eve!! Totally spoiled the holiday and we came back from our trip early. Very disappointed!!
