This is our second visit to Motif and it was just as fantastic as I remembered. The staff was courteous, helpful, efficient and friendly. Our room was outstanding - spacious, best view of the market, extremely comfortable beds. Overall an excellent place to stay in the downtown area.
Loved the service and location!
I liked everything, although I was hoping the room would have been a little bigger
I was there for 5 days. Location is very strategic, downtown Seattle. The last day when I check out and the car's engine could not start, and the staff hotel help me to find a way out, i really appreciate them. The guy at front desk (Philippines guy) kindly help me... What a wonderful experience in Seattle with motif hotel....
Beautiful, unique visual environment.
The hotel has a parking garage that is open to the public. On multiple occasions, I pulled in to park but the gate was close with a sign reading, "garage full". Not awesome sine I actually paid to stay there and parking is $32 per night. On the 5th floor there is a restraint/bar/lounge that is also open to the public. Consequently, a lot of non-guests (often young and intoxicated) were in the hotel. This added lots of confusion, long waits for the elevators, and - I believe - diminished safety. Hotel room cards were not required to access any part of the hotel except individual rooms. I won't stay there again unless a key was required to access all floors and the garage was only for the guests. Side note: the small staff, in the small lobby should look up from tasks to greet their guests. But again, with all those people coming and going, how would they know I was a paying guest...
Air ducts were very clogged, affected air flow in the room. Needs to be cleaned, has a lot of lint lining the air duct shaft, is a fire hazard and affects the air flow in the room.
The central location was good and the staff was friendly.
Your ad said airport shuttle, but no. The bed was old and tired. The rooms were small and old. The tv had a bad signal. The thermostat was a joke. If booking.com can't be trusted with giving out the correct info. then what good are they?
parking costs were exorbitant - $39 for one night, would go elsewhere next time
Location Room size Free high speed wi fi Comfortable bed Room facilities
Close to venue and shopping.
Elevators were not working
hotel was located in downtown and it was walking distance from my appointments
You have to pay for wifi.
Good location and good price
No breakfast included
i cant say more about the people who were there for me...the doorman, the front desk, the adorable woman who brought us extra blankets, and KPODS for coffee, and the hilarious waiter in the Palimono, the engaging young man who made sure my i phone was charged and OMYG the found mitten with the help of incredible cast of characters...access to nordstrom...bonus...and the great services across the street...bonus...will never stay anywhere else again.am i gushing?
the staff at the palimono was terrific the food was just B minus
In addition to good location for sightseeing to Pike Place and waterfront, modern appearance made me feel comfortable. Also good for shopping and walking around in downtown area.
Though it might be average in downtown area, almost $40 per night guest parking is a bit expansive.
Good gym, nice views
Internet changed from free of charge to an extra charge of 13 USD per day during my stay
Location was AMAZING!
Breakfast is expensive.
Super staff Fresh decor Minimum clutter, fresh and clean Awesome dining Fitness room VIEW!!
... It was all good!
service in restaurant was a little slow
The only things good are location, wifi, and parking.
The room was very cold and it seems that the thermostat was there for looks only. I took the cover from one bed and doubled up for my bed, because there was no extra blanket in the closet and I got in very late. The next day, the maid made one bed, but completely stripped the other and left it that way. When I called down to complain, they sent up a tech to look at the heating and delivered a new blanket, but left the other bed stripped. That night, the room was just as cold. Also, the sheets were excessively staticky, there were stains on the walls, and a tacky and odd restaurant/bar.
Friendly and helpful staff. Great location and extremely comfortable. Decor is awesome and amenities are plentiful!
Loved the location and size of room. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.
The price for parking is very high. Would also be nice to offer a breakfast with room.
location is the best! right in the downtown, walking distance to pike place market and all other attractions and concierge did a good job recommending us "shutters"
nothing stylish as it is marketed, just standards
Nice location, within walking distance of many interesting places. Nice lounge on the 5th floor.
Very noisy room, a little bit outdated.
clean, quiet, great location
slow check in and check out
