The location is difficult to find. The facility itself is in terible condition and needs renewal. The room stunk like mildew, the air conditioning was loud like having a tractor in the room, the locks on the doors were shaky and badly functioning. Despite in the booking confirmation the maximum occupancy listred was 5, the lady did not allow our family with small kids to stay in one room and used the opportunity to sell us another one late in the evening. We stayed 11 days in various motels, this was the worst experience. Stay away from it!!!!!!!!!!!!

The new owners were extremely accomodating as well as their staff. Room was much cleaner than I expected and the bed was very comfy. We would stay here again when visiting Lake Isabella. My first 1 star hotel experience was just fine.

Location across from park is nice and close to everything near Wofford Heights, Lake Isabella, and Kerville.

No alarm clock in room. No ice available. Old facility that needs to be remodeled.

Nothing really

There were no eating facilities within 6 miles of this motel. It was in a poor area and places looked closed down. The motel was expensive compared to other accommodations used. Very basic.

Basic,basic, basic

The owners are the nicest couple- very friendly and helpful which made us feel very comfortable and right "at home." The facilities are older but the owners make sure to keep it clean! - the price reflects that you won't be staying in a 5 star resort and the owners know what they are working with, rest assure you will feel comfortable here - compared to everything around this is definitely best bang for your buck! The lake can recede at dry times making the walk a tiny bit longer to the lake- but such a great morning walk ;) They other rooms with kitchenettes so you may bring and cook your own food etc or drive into Kernsville for other great local food options. We recommend Cheryls Diner and the Kernsville Brewery. Sierra South rafting trip is a must try- another great crew

for the price this was good value for money. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the water hot, and the kitchenette a bonus. It was a good motel for a one night stop. The mountain air was refreshing and the views from the front door lovely.

The kitchenette wasn't adequately equipped...luckily we had some cutlery and bowls of our own that we used.

Very friendly and helpful management, they went out of their way to accomodate me. Thank you for calling and emailing me within 30 minutes when I forgot my cooler-box in the room after checkout! It's an old motel but everything works very well, good tv, even the old-fashioned heating worked perfectly. Table and chairs outside so you could even sit in the sun

The location is exceptional, overlooking Lake Isabella, with a row of trees with a hawk nesting in them opposite the rooms. The innkeeper is delightful. He took us for a little drive in his 4x4 when he noticed my husband was having trouble walking near the lake. The room is very basic but clean and comfortable.

The kitchenette looks a little grubby. I think it probably is perfectly clean, but the fittings are very old. Anything that can be done to spruce them up will help, maybe a bit of paint to cover stains on the shelves and wall and tidying up the inside of the fridge.

I stayed one night at this motel. Clean room with small kitchen . Staff are very friendly and I found it a great value place to stay with lil money. I got very good service with that lil price I paid . Nobody can beat that deal. I read another people's reviews maybe they forget price they were paid. It is worth of my money.

Nice location close to Sequoia National Forest. Beds were fairly comfortable and there was a fridge and microwave in the room.

The bathroom is tiny and quite old.

Very friendly owner (since 8 months) Environment lake isabela is fantastic. If no luxury is expected this is a good option

Although the new owner has already performed quite some work to improve facilities, his process was not yet finished. Kitchenette was still very outdated and pool not yet available.

The motel was very clean and the people very friendly.

This is the first season for the very friendly and enthusiastic new owner who is restoring the place after a few years of disuse. The location is great, close to Lake Isabella but quiet, a block off the main road and quiet overlooking a park through trees. It is traditional old style motel with parking outside the door. The equipment in the kitchens is a bit old, but the kitchens are well equipped and the rooms are very clean. I am sure this Motel will be improved further as time goes on and with the friendly atmosphere I found it a great, good value place to stay.

Looks a bit scruffy on the outside and the facilities in the room are a bit old, but they all work and are clean.

We stayed one night at this Motel. An oasis of tranquility. Room spacious, clean and equipped with a small kitchen. The Wifi works fine. Hot coffee in the morning and is ideally situated for visiting the Sequoia National Forest. But I would recommend it especially for the hospitality of the new owners that make you feel at home. The management were very nice. They were very helpful and did what was asked.

It was quiet and close to where we wanted to go. The owners were very nice and accomidating.
