Mount Rushmore's White House Resort  

Staff was very friendly and courteous. Room was larger than expected and nicely apportioned.

Walls are a little thin, but noise wasn't a major issue.

The whole experience, albeit just for one night, was comfortable, clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful when asking about getting to Mt. Rushmore. I would recommend it anytime.

Tongue in cheek, we laughed to know there was no potato salad because a bus load had 'clean them out'. Who needs potato salad.

Location central to things we wanted to see.

Rooms not cleaned 2 out of 4 days there. Towels were very thin and hurt to rub on skin.

I loved the feel of the room,it was cozy and cute.

What I didn't like was the shower water.poor pressure and the water was extremely hot,difficult to regulate.Then the next morning,no hot water.Its just seemed to be a guessing game every time I took a shower.Didnt know what to expect. The staff was OK. no one was rude,but affects from everyone was flat.Difficult to get a smile out of anyone. I missed a continental breakfast.This "resort" didn't offer one.The coffee cups held about 4oz's of coffee.so if you are a coffee drinker in the morning,best you bring your own cup.

I liked the ease of getting to the Resort, and the close proximity to the walking areas of Keystone, SD.

Our view was of the backside which was just a rock.

Great location for surrounding attractions.

The fact it had the best location to walk around town

The parking spaces was to small, everybody had a issue, our suv wouldn't fit between the white lines!! That was the only issue

Its proximity to Mount Rushmore, and downtown Keystone.

Location and staff were excellent. Nicely appointed rooms, very comfortable bed. Pet-friendly and located in the town center within close walking distance to restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

Our booking didn't go thru because we booked in the " off season" however they are able to accommodate us. Kind of outdated hotel but good value and clean.

location and the room was nice had a fireplace and beds were fairly comfortabe.

Our carpets were very very dirty. The towels are thread bare. Parking was extremely tight the parking lanes could accommodate a motorcyce with ease but even a small car would have trouble opening their doors if cars were on either side.

We like the location it was close to some of the sites we wanted to see.

The pillows they were old and flat.

How close it was to the shops.

Lack of parking, pool hours, check-in and check-out times, no continental breakfast included, the staff was not very friendly.

It was within walking distance of many local shops and restaurants, clean and economical.

It was clean, the pool was great and the price was fair. It was a quiet stay.

The parking spaces were incredibly small. You couldn't park and get out of your vehicle.

When I booked the room, it said a fireplace was in the room, so I was expecting a decent-sized room. Alas, there was no fireplace and it was small enough to make you wonder if you needed to step in the hallway to change your mind. Also, it was extremely hot (temps in the 100s) but when the staff came in to make beds, etc., they shut off the air!!!! It was awful!!

Location. Literally only minutes from Mt. Rushmore. Most of the shopping and restaurants were within walking distance.

By far, one word: Parking! Hotel did not have enough parking spaces set aside for the hotel guests and, on the first night, we had to move our car out of the 3 hpur parking area a couple of times. The spaces were quite small as well. In the hotel's defense, though, they appeared to be limited in parking area.

Booked online - Won't stay there again.

The PARKING, a hotel should have enough reserved parking for all guests at the hotel. there were little flying bugs in our room
