the windows couldn't be open, no fresh air which made the stay not very comfortable
Not a chain hotel
Room was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was nice.
Lobby was aged and the place where bags are held (in the office area) was not handy. They need a new room.
Price and location were ok
Rooms could be cleaner and tv could be more updated
Friendly staff, central location and great value.
Plastic cutlery at breakfast!
Clean, well equipeed
Breakfast was suppose to be buffet - there was nothing to choose from! Eggs, weird potato something, strange sausages, tosts, apples, yoghurt and that is it.
It was close to what we wanted. t was an older hotel with alot of character and the breakfast was served with friendly staff and plenty to go around.
My room did not have a view of the city, but we were only in the room to sleep.
Front desk staff very helpful and pleasant India in the café went out of her way to get us coffee after the café was closed
The chair in our room had a stain that looked like someone had an accident . We had to put a towel on it to just sit in it. disgusting. The air vents were horrendous, looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. Maid service was not good, left a tip every day but still got no refills on the coffee and had no cups replaced, had to go to front desk for cups. Had to ask for extra towels, it appears the housekeeping staff needs training on replenishing a room. The carpets in the halls were disgusting and reeked of carpet freshener. Everything in our room was old and run down. Not very clean
Bed was nice and firm. Good location to Camden Yards. Price was right.
Rudeness- I asked for an informational folder (the room didn't have one) and was denied. Breakfast was awful. First room looked like someone had just gotten up from the bed. There were no mattress pads, the tub felt like it was going to cave in, etc. etc.
Dirty and old!
Overall, the location was what sold it. I was a 10 minute walk from the Baltimore Conference Center and not far from the docks and downtown. Free Wi-Fi included and the complementary breakfast was better than expected.
The hotel room was ridiculously cold. I like it cold when I sleep, but this kept me from getting to bed. The showers were either ice cold or blistering hot, and nothing in between. Overall, the street wasn't a bad neighborhood, but it bordered on some sketchy businesses. I would only take Charles St. to and from the Expo.
The staff were very kind and helpful. It was nice chatting with them. The building is beautiful and I was informed that it was in the process of being renovated so I can't wait to come back when it's finished.
The rooms were very basic for the style of the building. It was difficult to warm up the room aside from turning the air off.
4 people in the room, they gave us 2 towels. No tissues, only a partial roll of toilet paper. Soda machines out of order. Juice machine at breakfast was broken, only water available. 1 very nice person serving breakfast, but she was so overworked she couldn't keep up.
Central location to all the the many area attractions.
It's an older building. When renovations are completed it should be very nice.
No information regarding parking for the hotel before arriving at the location. Would have been nice to know before holding up traffic.
We liked the location of the hotel being within walking distance to harbor / baseball stadium and access to local transport easy. Parking also very convenient.
Room was very small for 2 people and queen bed. Room was very hot and had a bad musty odor coming from vent that was not clean. Room needed vacuuming corners. Uncomfortable
Location - right by the purple charm city route Breakfast Staff helpful Large room and bed Quiet at night
Not a dislike but hotel is basic and quite dated but this did not have a negative effect on our stay
breakfast was great and plentiful. Staff was so helpful. On a weekend when so much was happening at the inner harbor location was great for walking to activities but far away to not be so noisy.
Older hotel with limited views. No wi-fi.
king size bed comfortable
Staff at desk didn't even know what direction Camden Yards was. Was charged $10 more than booking price, had to be corrected. Not greatest experience.
We liked the centrality of the location, as we were on business and visiting several areas spanning out from Mount Vernon. Also, good historical location for easy pedestrian use during our leisure time, museums & monuments very close. Great restaurants & coffee shops. Easy to get a cab.
front desk very helpful, breakfast and breakfast room, room temperature, shower new and clean
tv not hd
The hotel was very quiet, and the air conditioning worked phenomenally. The bed was nice and firm, and the shower had a good flow.
The comforter on the bed was a little suspect, and the quality of the shampoo/conditioner was poor. I had poor timing for breakfast, as they were out of coffee and I didn't have time to wait. Not their fault, but it was still a little disappointing. Also, the neighborhood was a little sketchy to be in alone, and I had a tough time finding food late.
No parking. My rental car was towed off the street near the hotel. My entire vacation was ruined. The tow cost me $272.
Messed up our room and someone ended up having to sleep on a cot. And was still the same price
