Location. Near to other hotels and restaurants. Great views from the gondola on ski lift.
Hotel in need of renovation. We had upgrade to room with balcony, think we were only guests. Very poor show for breakfast which was a stand up affair in reception. Coffee from flask. Three bagels that had seen better days, some old bread, and half jug of orange. The reception guy was from India, but he tried his best. helpful.Chose this hotel because restaurant was attached, but it was closed on the night we stayed there.
The inn is located at a ski resort.
Very old and maintained badly. bad odder.
Great stay. The rooms and building were very clean and staff very helpful and polite.
Staff was very polite and location was perfect .
Door dead bolt didn't work and the mattress was the Hardest mattress I've ever sleep on ! If mattress was a good pillow top maybe I would have stayed longer .
Last minute room available. Great location. Friendly staff.
"Year round pool" closed for season! - Wanted pool :( Free breakfast (factor in choosing Inn) SUCKED. Dated rooms. wall had poorly repaired hole. Paper thin walls, doors. Smelled damp musty. Fridge gross. Overall didn't feel/look "sparkly clean". No coffee for coffee maker.
Poor value for cost of the room
Excellent view of the mountain. Clean room with a fireplace. Staff was very friendly and able to answer all the questions we had. We will be back here next year.
The only thing I would change would be to add an elevator.
Clean and comfortable room.
Covered outdoor smoking areas could be provided for the benefit and comfort of those who enjoy the (disgusting!) habit.
Pictures show it better looked more inviting on site steak house and bar not even open possible new owners I don't know but I don't think it's run very well forgot my toothbrush most places have them just in case no ac in the room very hot couldn't sleep I now a lot of places there are big winter places but come on your an in if your open in the summer you need ac don't think I will stay there again.
Location is fantastic and I love the outdoor heated pool
The place could use a little moderation
location, ambiance or the property in general, although it was 'dated' nice pool
breakfast service was inadequate and had declined since my previous stay 2 months prior, pool table was broken
Location is great, bar with music was a surprise
Dated no hot tub- how is that possible at a ski resort. Don't let the outdoor 'heated' pool fool you !
The steakhouse was good The Bar was better especially Kat's singing
Location and value
It was a loud place there was a lot of college age kids on our floor for the Super Bowl but that's just the luck of the draw and was fine with us
Hotel was dirty, walls too thin, pillows too thin, mattresses awful! When was the last time it was updated. No excuse for $200/ night that it is so disheveled. Just because it's close! Shameful!
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and it was so convenient being able to get ready to ski, pick up our skis from the special locker room and wait for the free shuttle bus to arrive in the adjacent warm waiting room. On the way back from the mountain this hotel was the first stop so we were always back in our warm room within minutes. The hotel is nicely laid out with a warm and comfortable ambience.
Breakfast was a little more basic than we'd have liked (not a lot of choice and everything kept running out fast) but wasn't a big deal really. Free wireless internet was extremely slow (I measured 0.3Mbps download) so we stuck to using 4G.
The location and the warm atmosphere at the hotel.
Awful breakfast and altogether too expensive for this old hotel who needs refurbishing.
Heat did not work well Hallway smelled musty
Fireplace was cool, good location if you wanted to ski.
Only the third floor electricity was on, and that was just in certain places. The "den" had no power. . We tried to go into the pool room- locked, the game room - locked, the restaurant was closed. The only thing we could do was go to our room. Usually not a problem as we like to explore, but since it was November in Vermont, the options were limited. Also, it smelt like bananas..
