we didn't stay long enough to enjoy the stay with our Social Security income we are limited but we enjoyed what we had didn't have time to enjoy your surrounding area
What a fun little town. Gorgeous views, multiple state parks and national forests. Tons of antique shops. Nice restaurants. Horse rides, orchards, and kids activities in near by cities. We will be visiting again!
location was good
second floor balcony was a little weak feeling underfoot
Second time staying here and again no problems.Friendly staff, the ones I had a chance to talk with were very friendly and down to earth.Comfortable room, sleep was not a problem, quite surroundings and peaceful view out back.Have already booked for two nights in April. My wife and I both love the area.
Plenty of heat on the cold nights we were there. The friendliness of the staff and their williness to accommodate a handicapped husband. Thanks for a nice visit.
Rattle in microwave oven.
The hotel/motel has free wifi and was in a good centralized location right off the main road through Dillard and into Rabun Gap. Not far from Sky Valley and Black Mountain State Park.
Don't expect much in this sleepy town. The bed in my room did not have fitted sheets. You can hear your neighbors talking and watching TV through the walls. The accommodations are cheap and the property as a whole needs work. In my opinion the room is not worth the cost and although told that it was a non-smoking room it bore the stench of stale cigarettes.
Liked the location
Too much cold air coming in around door and window which do not fit properly. Carpet needs repair.
Price and location.
Loud TV in room next to us,but it was not that way late.
Not as advertised. cont. breakfast was cereal only no shampoo. when asked for some a got a sample of a sample.
The cleanliness. Quiet Good Price Nice manager We have stayed there several times, and will stay again. Shirley
Room was clean and I liked the location.
Very noisy.. TV and talking from next room was very loud as well as a barking dog.. Room was very dated and everything was very old. Not much offered for breakfast. Got coffee and it was awful.
My wife and I go to North Ga.mountains often.Love the area, scenery, shops and attractions that may be in the area. This was our first stay here and was comfortable for our stay.We got the King rm.with the view and deck.We really enjoyed watching the sunset that evening.Overall enjoyed our stay and have booked again for April. We may even be back this November for one last trip before winter sets in:)
I guess if there was a complaint it would be the rm not being ready by chk in time.My wife and I went out on the town enjoyed ourselves and then returned. The rm was ready then. Not to big of a deal for us there is always something to do while you wait.
The view. The facility was old in need of repair.
I like the rates. Very good value. Clean and comfortable.
Stayed on our way to Gatlinburg, Tenneessee. Great for the price we paid for just a over night quick stay !
They had a room
Very dated, and not very clean.
The suite was very clean and spacious. The bed was large and comfortable. The room looked nice and was equipped with great air conditioning and a flat screen TV. The water was hot and the pressure was very nice. It was the same quality of a room that's $120 a night in the metropolitan area. I was weary about booking this location due to the mixed reviews, but I can say that our experience in the suite w/ balcony access (which overlooks a field) that we got for an extra $8 for was well worth it.
The exterior doesn't look that great, but once you're in the room, it's pretty nice. The bed was made with a top sheet instead of a fitted sheet, but that wasn't a big deal. The wireless network was down half of the time, but was stable when it was online.
The room was really clean and comfort, and personally I think it's good for the money you spent. I like that you could just park your car in front of your room.
The breakfast was okay and nothing really exciting.
We enjoyed the swimming pool and the WIFI service
I was perfect for the money spent.
The first room had not been cleaned and the second room smelt of cigarette smoke!
the pillow cases were dirty, the alarm clock didn't work, and I wouldn't walk on the carpet with bare feet.I would have changed hotels but nothing else was available in the area.
Room was big with couch and large TV and AC worked great.
Flooring and stairs in disrepair,Dirty shoes of worker from other rooms left outside of there rooms.
Very helpful and pleasant owner. We had beautiful weather and that was the main reason for being in that area.
It is farther from the main attractions than we thought. The motel is old. Some renevations have been done but others are still lacking.
Room getting run-down. Light in sink area did not work. Staff very, very good in responding to needs.
Staff was very friendly and professional.
Continental breakfast could be a litter more varied.
