The rooster alarm clock awakened me each day in time to drive the forty miles to my work site. (A lot better than an annoying buzzer) The breakfasts were excellent. All of the free-range animals. The Stanley museum was very interesting and the area restaurants were good.

This is only a minor inconvenience...the wifi was extremely weak in the upstairs bedroom where we slept. The dayroom had excellent reception.

Owner Lisa made us very comfortable, breakfast delicious, loved the dogs, cats, chickens. Very homey. her helpful directions around saved us a ton of driving time. Loved the rustic decor and pictures and books and things.

If not a tv maybe even a DVD and TV to watch a movie in common room

the breakfast was tasty, but scant. We were given a short menu, I selected oatmeal which was nice, but other than toast, there was nothing else. the dogs were very friendly.

The smell..as soon as you walked in there was an odor of mothball/mildew. Not sure if it was from the animals, and I have pets and liked the dogs, but the smell gave me a headache. Also the room was very dated and odd, with 2 twin beds under the slanted roof, and an old kitchen cabinet, sink. The room had carpeting which was vacuumed, but stained. And when we took a cup of coffee up to the room Lisa told us not to spill it and stain the coffee. Also, there must have been holes in the screens because the mosquitoes were terrible, so we had to close the windows and rely on a little standing fan. No TV in the rooms or the common area, so bring a book.

Lese was very friendly. Staff gave great guidance in where to eat in town. Quiet rooms with a friendly rooster wake up call. Felt like home. Breakfast was delicious.

Could use some extra attention to cleaning.

    Nice surroundings, great breakfast...

The House is beautiful but not maintained in a correct state. My feeling is that the place used to be a good one but the owner seems to be tired of it. The price seems correct, as long as you don't need additional beds for kids : $30 by bed! So a global expense of $172+ tx for one night in this B&B: sorry but it's not worth it.

    Nice location. Good breakfast.

Couldn't get by the awful smells in the house and dining room. Couldn't get the shower to work.

Room was nice. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Sitting room was nice with a fireplace.

Kitchen smelled like animals and eating area had cobwebs in the windows. No shampoo in the 'spa' bathroom.

The Mountian Village Inn was very cozy and vintage. Breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed sitting amongst the other visitors. Lisa was very kind, personable and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. Great location and close to all the mountains where we were skiing. We are looking forward to our next stay at The Mountain Village Inn.

Linda, the owner was very friendly and provided us with lots of info of the area and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. She tried to make our stay pleasurable. Given it was a farm there we're animals-two cats and two dogs, ducks, chickens...

my only complaint was the smell of cat liter when you first walk in. However, the pets were very friendly and enjoyed their company. Unfortunately I am allergic to cats so wasn't pleasant.

Lisa, the owner/operator was very nice and welcoming. There was a large common area to gather in, with games, books and puzzles. The bedroom was not big but very comfortable with your own personal shower/toilet/sink. Wifi was excellent. The Breakfast was hearty and delicious with many choices.

There was no TV or radio either in the common area or in your room. Make sure you bring earplugs as the house can accommodate quite a few people, is an older home and so sound travels thru the walls.

Super country ambiance and artwork. Tastefully decorated. In a great location for us. Loved the sitting room with the fire prepared and ready to light. The Inn keeper provided a small refrigerator for our happy hour beverages and glassware. She also gave us information on where to eat dinner. Kingfield is a wonderful village. Bed was very comfortable! Breakfast room was charming and the breakfast options were diverse and plentiful. Food were excellent. We all would definitely recommend this B & B.

Spa Bath took a very long time to fill up so that the water started getting cold before it got deep enough.

While staying here we enjoyed village life. It was really cosy and we were served well. Also it was very clean and the homemade food was delicious. We were sorry to leave that place, hope we come here again next year. P.S By the way there is a ski resort Sugarloaf nearby, It has many trail from beginners up to experts.

Stayed there for very little time.

A very warm, personal welcoming from the owner Lisa. The Inn is a comfortable, rustic farm house but with nice upgrades. A great breakfast room with a cathedral ceiling, a wall of glass, and a great view of the mountains. A well stocked library/game room with a fireplace. Our queen bedroom had a private bath with a jacuzzi. Our breakfast was fresh eggs from the free range hens on the farm. Great roasted coffee from Dean's Beans. Staying here gives you the experience of living on a gentleman's farm without having to do the work. I would stay here again.
