Very little contact with the proprietors who were mostly "off-site." No walk through of the lodge and eating arrangements - which was locked and looked unavailable and 1/2 mile from the cabins. We complained about flakey TV reception and was told most people don't come here to watch TV. The TV was mounted in a poor location, high on a wall which required shifting a couch and craning one's neck to view. Proprietors need to decide whether running a lodging is really what they want to do. We don't require much - just a little more than was available to us. BTW it's 50 minutes from Moab - where the action is.
The cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. If you are looking for solitude, there is ample non-human contact. A good place for old horses, dogs, sheep. Lots of fenced in dirt for them to live out their days. It is rated the best lodging in the area. Oh wait!! It's the only lodging in the area. Stay in Moab.

Clean, comfortable, quiet.

The view, the tranquility, the animals (our daughter was really happy), and the staff-people who was really friendly.

If you want a Moab vacation you don't want to stay in th La Sal Mountains. I would recommend bringing your own gas barbecue grill. Never encountered a spa or exercise room though I didn't ask.
The area was pretty. The cabin was clean. The ranch is a working animal sanctuary so there are wonder recovering cats, dogs and horses to visit. Owner Teague was wonderful!

No toilet paper anywhere in the cabin. No BBQ as advertised.
Facilities, setting and views were great. A lovely little hideaway which we hope to visit again.

WiFi could be better, & it's a bit of a drive to Moab, but hey -- who cares?
What's not to like about having wild deer on the property & coyotes howling outside our window at night? Our cabin had a complete kitchen, was spacious, comfortable, & clean. Very romantic!

I didn't like that they seemed to charge for every little thing. We tried very hard to leave it clean and neat and for some reason they still charged us for 3 additional hours of cleaning. Also we were not given bedding for the futon even though they knew we needed to use it. They also did not give us necessary information for getting our son's RV into the campground, which they had charged us extra for.
I liked that they had the animal reserve. My grandchildren loved petting the animals.

The booking system seems not to work well. Our booking had been cancelled, but we were travelling and didn't not get the notification. We had to have normal rooms and get our cabin the next day. A party arriving late that night were not expected. There is only one sofa in the living area; one or two arm chairs would be a good addition.
The cabins are pleasant in an open and peaceful setting, with big comfy beds and really nice bedding. It was fun to see the deer roaming around,as well as the other animals, rescue dogs, cats and horses.

Never actually spoke with "hosts" and actually only saw them a couple of times. No one around when we arrived or when we checked out. Just found our cabin and key on table and left key on table when we departed. The long list of do's and don'ts.
The cabin/area very quiet and peaceful.

The gas leak which permeates the whole lodge. Too far from grocery store or town. If u come with a cooler full of grocery and they repaired the leak or replaced the stove, it can be a quiet lovely retreat.
Beautiful surroundings, nice woodsy decor and helpful housekeeper. Friendly animals in the Sanctuary behind the Lodge. Very peaceful.

There was nothing that we did not like
We loved how beautiful and quiet it was. There is an animal sanctuary that was an inspiration. The cabins we very clean and well stocked. You can set out on the porch and read, watch the deer or just relax and enjoy the beautiful natural beauty around you. There are so many great day trips you take to see Utah's great natural attractions.

Since we weren't visiting for biking, hiking, or ORV-ing, it was a little far from Arches & Canyonlands. Nevertheless, we hope to return some day.
The cabin we rented was perfect -- clean, quiet, comfortable, and spacious for 2 adults and 2 adult children. We also enjoyed the animal sanctuary aspect. Tee and Chris were friendly and helpful, and the generous breakfasts carried us well into the afternoon! An excellent value for a group.

They contacted us after we booked with you and said the price was to low and raised the price .we agreed to pay more because of the area and we check out other price . but it was way out from moab and the original price would have been fairer , I wouldn't recommend this place .

Not a thing!
A quiet place on a lovely site outside Moab. A great place to relax and enjoy the countryside. Very nice hosts who provide comfortable cabins with everything you need, just bring the food. Great beds and perfect for a family or two couples.
