Hotel Mulberry  

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the shower pressure was great, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The room climate system shut off after a few hours and so we woke up in the middle of the night when the room became too hot to sleep comfortably. If this shouldn't have happened, I did not know how to regulate it.

Quiet hotel in a busy part of the city. Clean and comfortable.

Some small milk containers with long life milk for tea and coffee. I don't like the powdered stuff.

Comfortable bed, wi-fi, location to our event on Mercer St. Friendly staff. Nice size room.

towel shelf under sink was in way of the door when trying to close. Hallway on 2nd floor - could hear the cleaning staff - cart room next door.

We loved the bed's and the clin towel's etc.every day. The location and the breakfast rest. with the beautiful smiling chineese woman always in a good mood.

The hotel is quiet enough, very clean and comfortable. I've booked the basic double room which has a window in the room and the bathroom was decent size. The staff was helpful and polite.

As most of American hotels Mulberry hotel has central operated A/C, it was a bit too cool for me (but the reception manager offered a portable heater). Next day it got colder outside and the A/C was turned to heating and it's become much better. Don't bother with breakfast, they'd give you vouchers to Mama eatery that makes the most pathetic eggs I've tried in my life.

Staff were excellent and very helpful, Most comfortable bed ever. Room was good size and very clean with large new TV. Location in China town is a great experience itself. Breakfast included at nearby cafe is also excellent.

I loved being right in the heart of Chinatown/ Little Italy. This area is full of diverse cultures and tons of shopping!! The hotel is beautiful, and staff are very nice, helpful and friendly! We had a nice room and balcony that had a nice view of the city line.

Hard to find any parking if you are driving, or it is $36 to park. But, we luckily found close parking:)

This hotel was very clean and had all the creature comforts of a first class hotel without the unnecessary frills (no spa, etc). It was also VERY quiet at night which was great. The room was big enough for four of us, the staff was super nice. It was a very easy, low-key place to stay - everything you need for a jumping off point to explore downtown NYC/SOHO/Tribeca etc. Nice park view too from our sunny bright room!

The fire alarm at 9am Sunday sounded like a nuclear meltdown! and a apology would have been nice.

The staff in reception were extraordinary friendly and helpful. The hotel and the room was very clean, and the room was big and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom clean and very good shower, towels changed daily.

Did not like to have to go out for breakfast. Breakfast rather poor, no wholewheat bread, but staff nice and helpful.

❤❤❤The location. Because the hotel is on a park in a neighborhood, there was very little noise. Immaculately clean space from reception to room. Plenty of options for dining as the hotel is well situated for authentic ethnic dining (Chinese, Thai and Italian). Lots of cultural experiences-- traditional Chinese music in the park, Tai Chi groups getting their morning exercise, martial arts clubs practicing alongside cheer dance groups--fun!

The eatery from which breakfast is provided by presenting a voucher from the hotel is not good. It's close to the hotel but its not very good. Even food ordered off their regular (non-voucher) menu was not good.

I loved the view ("city room view") the layout of the room and size. The bed was also very comfortable and the location was very close to several subway stations.

Breakfast was only served until 10 in the morning, even on weekends.

Very clean,great location,quiet,very good value for money,comfortable beds,big room, attentive staff, free wi fi, loved looking out of the big glass windows onto the park, and the WTC building fab.

Great location - near the U.S. Courthouse - and in a favorite neighborhood (Chinatown/Little Italy/Soho). Very efficient, young, earnest & attentive staff. Very clean.

Limited amenities.

I thought this was a very good mid-priced hotel. I had never been to this part of New York before and initially wasn't sure how it would turn out. I needn't have worried. Everyone at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The only problem we had was the room was too warm and they fixed it whilst we were out. The wi-fi is particularly good. Each floor has its own servive. The area is quite eclectic and has many good Chinese and Italian reataurants within 10 minutes walk of the hotel and they will give recommendations if asked. The park opposite is a microcosm of traditional Chinese life with tai chi, mah jong and traditional card games taking place most of the day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't mind being a little off the beaten track and using the subway to get around (which was very good incidentally).

The room was comfortable. Internet access was included and worked fine. The park across the street was beautiful and there were many people congregating there. It seemed very safe. It is a couple of blocks to the subway but a safe and easy walk. Lots of good restaurants nearby in Chinatown and Little Italy. Water available in the lobby (hot and cold).

Our room had windows on the east side and the light came in very early. The curtains didn't help much. Otherwise, very nice accommodations!

Location is great, staff was very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Great shower and lovely soaps/shower gels. They kept our luggage after we checked out for the whole day. The breakfast was delicious!

Right in the heart of Chinatown. It is within walking distance for shopping on Canal street, touring Little Italy, the Manhattan Bridge and the World Trade Center. The room was spacious and clean, the shower was amazing and it only cost us $78 for 48 hours parking in the garage next door.

The only complaint that I have and the only reason for my "fair" rating for cleanliness is that they do not use mattress pads or covering of any kind. This means that the only thing separating you and someone else's dna is a thin bottom sheet - ew.

Perfect location in the heart of Chinatown, opposite the Columbus Park where the chinese meet each other. Lovely beds, very clean.

The breakfast tickets we got were only valid for 2 persons in spite of our group being 4. It is mentioned on their website, but I think it would be nice to include all persons in the breakfast tickets. Considering the price, I am questioning the value for money.
