Both nights at the hotel we had trouble with the two female bartenders in the front bar. The service was lacking and they were extremely rude to myself. I will not recommend this hotel for the sole experience I had in the bar.
Staff at the front desk were very nice and accommodating. Food was great and breakfast brunch went very well considering we had more people attend than expected. Staff in restaurant were nice and flexible with guest changes. Thank you
Parking is expensive, $16 a day.
Very clean, quiet, great view, trendy.
The only thing I did not like is as much as we pd for the room why did we have to pay parking?? It seriouly should come with the price of a 200.00 room. The other king is we told the check in guy that we had never been there before but he did not tell us that we had to use our room jey on the elevator.
Very difficult to find a restaurant that was open at three in the afternoon. Double beds are smaller than I prefer. Price was steep in my opinion. While the place was trendy its really not fancy. Lots of nicks and and little details that seperate it from fancy. No pool.
Great view of Rainier and Tacoma dome. Just a quick ride on light shuttle to the Dome for a show and safe feeling 1 mile walk back after. Lots of great art pieces. Staff was friendly enough.
Room was very small for the price paid. Did not have a "wow" factor for a $200+ per night room. Parking was full so was forced to valet adding another $19 to an already expensive bill.
Bedding was comfortable and the room was fairly clean. Hotel staff was friendly at checkin.
The fact that I had to pay for parking.
Frienly staff and beutiful view and a very safe investment! !
Wi Fi was too slow and that is my only criticism
Got charged for parking and did not use parking ..parked across the street.
My night view from room
Prices are a little on the high side, however for splurging on an overnight date with your spouse (which rarely happens with 3 little ones) it is WELL worth the money. Great happy hour menu helped the budget!
Amazing staff (especially in bar!), wonderful view (we were on the 23rd floor on a clear night). Bed was comfortable. Very classy.
Pricey parking fees; for the room price, it is nuts to charge for parking.
Didn't realize all the artwork was so cool. Loved it.
All the glass art work, the beds, the breakfast, the modern look, the staff, the location
Well this is actually the best hotel from tacoma.... I've been there 2 times... Once was for my bday... The rooms are really nice with everything you need, and I love the location ... Is close to everything so go for it
I so enjoyed staying at the hotel Murano. It was such a treat from the cloud like bed, to the perfect service. I felt like a princess in a fairy tale waited on by a truly wonderful staff, and the amenities were incredible. I will be back!
Lifts broke down one afternoon (they fixed it fast enough though)
Decoration Very close to the conference centre (3 minutes walk) and Washington U. Bed View of Mt Harmon at 6am
Room was great. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Overall just a great stay.
I loved everything the hotel offered. In the future it would be lovely if they had a swimming pool. But if not I would still be delighted to go back anytime.
Everything. Unparalleled customer service in a beautiful, lush setting. 11 out of 10.
Bed was too firm for me, ok for my husband. Memory foam mattress topper would have made it ok for both of us.
Excellent proximity to Convention Center (walking distance in heels.) Beautiful Hotel with art glass, modern European style. Nice bars, good food, reasonable prices.
The inability to make a good cup or mug of tea, the perennial problem throughout the US.
I loved the inclusion of all the glass art works throughout this beautiful hotel. Each floor is dedicated to a different artist. It brings an extra element of class and sophistication and somehow makes your stay feel deliciously decadent.
the heating system in the rooms is very poor- either hot air or cold air--- very poor system
Room was a little shabby; paint and wallpaper. Dusty glass artwork. Room curtain didn't close all the way to block out the light. Had mix up with room took 3 tries to get the right room. Had to call housekeeping to clean up room and get us fresh towels. The lobby and restaurant were very cold. No hot tub. The round sink was cool looking but not practical- it spilled water when water was turned on. Have to pay for Internet and parking- really?
the art the location
Cost-cutting signs everywhere. Understaffed (e.g.,contrary to expectations of website, no staff in sight when I arrived. No help with door or luggage....I'm 75). Valet service=$19 per use (if I had only known)Could not connect WiFi in room. (Tiny)Business Center wifi and printer charges outrageous. No info or brochures on city available in room or hotel lobby. None available even for hotel restaurant, salon, spa.
Great bed, great view. Friendly staff, when you could find them.
Hotel needs renovating. Cracked vinyl chairs, peeling lampshades. Looked amazing when it first opened. Now it looks tired. Too tired for the price!
The glasswork is beautiful, staff friendly and helpful. The views from the upper floors were great. Good restaurant.
wifi is expensive!
upgrade to King bed
Heat in restaurant I found chilly
The hotel has a wonderful collection of art. Each floor highlights a different artist
