Rooms are big for NY standards. Full kitchen included with Coffee making facilities. Day staff was horrible. It was as if they were bored of work. It would be nice to have someone more energetic and helpful. Not centrally heated which means the heater is behind the curtain. Its not that big a deal but if you want to sleep late during the day you'd have to sleep with open curtains as they block the heater. |

I definitely would recommend this hotel. I think this hotel is especially good for a family & business. Apartment was really big. I was amazed. The big living room is fully furnished with chairs, armchairs, sofa & tables. Bedroom is big as well. I didn't use kitchen but it seems having all basic thing you may need. They also say that have a good gym. I've not checked, but I trust them =) Location is also good. In 10-30 minutes of walk from many attractions and about 45 min from JFK by Taxi (~ 50USD without tips). Also hotel stuff was not “smiling” too much, but was really helpful. Because of special offer two nights staying cost me about 240USD (inc. taxes) and it's really good value for money. The only thing that I missed was an Internet connection in the room. Internet is available at lobby level only. Another issue was a noise from the upper floor. Some guys had a party all through the night and it was possible to hear them very well in the kitchen and bathroom. Closed bedroom door solved the problem. I liked all other things so much that prefer to consider this issue and a bad luck or an exception =) |

The location is great! Service and facilities are great too! It would be perfect if the hotel had had enough red wine glasses. |

Location and fosibility to have a short breakfast / lunch / dinner in the room Staff was absolutely inefficient and poorly kind : my luggage was missing at JFK (arrival) and it has been delivered to the hotel by air flight the day after : nobody in the staff gave me the information : i asked every day and the answer was always : no luggage .. and in fact it was located in room service since the beginning! by luck my lugage has been picked up by a friend |

Good east side location, convenient to Grand Central Station and a pretty authentic Manhattan apartment. Good choice for a displaced NY-er returning for a visit. It was nice to be in an apartment rather than a hotel. Lots! The furnishings were a bit dated. Bed Sheets in particular needed to be replaced. The kitchen needs to be better stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils to be useful. The desk staff needs to understand they are part of the hospitality industry. Also, while a great location, be prepared to be on a noisy street -- traffic from the mid-town tunnel uses this street. |

I liked the convenience of the location, the size of the room, the efficiency of the running of the hotel, and the comfort of the room. I was not happy that, upon arrival, they had me sign a visa guarantee for the entire 5 nights of my stay. |

Thoe hotel was clean and close to Grand Central Station. THere was a small kitchen eqpuipped with coffeemaker, microwave, and refrigerator. The heat did not work the first night, and when it did come on, finally, we could not adjust it. The hairdryer also did not work. |

As an apartment hotel this would be a good place for an extended stay. By Manhattan standards, the rooms were large and there appears to be a high standard of cleanliness. While the furnishings were somewhat spartan, they were in good shape. The kitchenette would be fine for some light cooking and food storage. The location is very convenient to Grand Central Station and nearby business addresses. I am partial to this neighborhood having lived there some time ago. Front desk personnel were friendly and willing to help. Outside of the holiday season, prices are more competitive and reasonable. The bed was firm and comfortable. I would be pleased to stay here again. Soundproofing is not the best, but on an upper floor the outside noise is tolerable. Room door security could be upgraded with more modern locks. |
