Room was spacious, like a full one bedroom apartment, at a very reasonable price. |

Perfectly located hotel for my stay, convenient and room was clean. Internet free and connection easy. Hotel was easy to find, closed to the UN and Grand Central. Rooms need probably to be refurbished. The sofa bed need to be changed. |

Great location with several good eating places nearby. Friendly staff who were pleasant and willing to help. Maid service each day. The comfort of the beds were great even the pull down in the lounge. Bathroom small but shower powerful. Kitchen a good resource with teenagers. Overall a great place to stay for a city trip as within easy walking distance of Grand Central Station. Only thing that I would like to say was that the room was a bit dusty , ie it needed a good dust over the venetians and on the table tops. |

Excellent location, with the plus of the kitchenette which allows you to have breakfast (...or even a full meal, if you are in cooking mode). The room is big for NY standard |

I liked the price and the roominess. The A/C was very lacking for such a large room |

comfortable but dated hotel in the location of manhattan I needed. Lots of space if you are staying for a few days and have several people in your party. kitchenette nice if you want to save some money on food. Cleaning people needed to do a better job in the bathroom. the floor was not clean. |

The location was good. The staff at the front desk were not friendly or overly helpful. The rooms were stuffy and the air conditioner did not cool the room. The hotel cut off the hot water and we had to wait 9 a.m. the next day to shower. The maid left my room unlocked 2 of the 3 nights that I stayed. Two people in our group booked a room with 2 double beds. They were given a single bed and told that nothing is guaranteed. |

The hotel is in an excellent location. It was in walking distance of most of the sites I wanted to see. The suite was a nice size. Most of the staff was not friendly. As a visitor, I wanted to know of good restaurants in the area, but I guess they don't eat at the hotel and didn't seem to know or care to tell you where to go. Also, in most hotels there is a directory of restaurants and close attractions in the room. There was no such thing there. The air was not working as it was cut off for the season and the hot water was off for 12 hours which was very inconvenient for my party. |

The location was good not far from subway and places to eat. It was reasonably close to the airport. It was a dark dismal place. The wireless access was half a dozen lounge chairs in the foyer. People were often cramped together trying to read their email. the sofa bed was uncomfortable and it was over heated.the lift broke down twice while I was there. |

We found the mheh to be in the absolute best location in nyc - it's a short walk to many highlights yet slightly off the beaten path so is quiet at night. The kitchen facilities allowed us to make our own breakfast easily. Clean and comfortable and allows for 2 couples to stay together with privacy. Good value. Sofa bed was in poor shape - clean of course but needing repair or replacement. |

The proximity to Central station. Nearness to underground. The staff were not very helpful. The elevators needed maintenance. |

the doormen were very nice and friendly, particullary the blonde chap who was very obliging in hailing a taxi for us on our departure, and they always had a smile. we always had clean towels, the lobby was lovely and clean and spacious, location was good enough, we loved being so close to mcdonalds, all in all an enjoyable stay was had by all 4 members of our group. we would definitely stay here again. there wasnt much to dislike bout it really, the bed wasnt very comfy and the girl on reception wasnt overly friendly but these are very minor things that didnt affect our hols. |

The suite was bigger than I anticipated and having a large lounge as well meant I could have time away from my 2 teenagers to relax as we pleased after a long day sightseeing. Also its central location and closeness to subway made the whole city easily accessible for short stay. Our suite was at the rear of the hotel and it was quite dark due to it being set back between 2 buildings. Also the bedsettee was a hasstle but i found out that if the hotel is rang direct 2 beds can be guarenteed. |

The hotel's location, near to the Central Station and other facilities. The size of the room and the avaliability of a kitchnet. The lack of cleaning under the beds and some lamps werent working. |

The beds were very noisy everytime you moved the bed would make a noise that would wake you up. I think it was the box spring. |
