Free wine could last longer :)
Great location to Times Square, great staff. Very secure. Quiet.
Breakfast room service was 30 minutes late one day. I hesitated to even mention it because that was the only complaint. It was totally out of character based the other great service.
Perfect location. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Yet hotel was far enough away that we couldn't hear the noise in Time Square. Hotel was fresh and clean everyday. Service was outstanding from everyone. Wine reception added a touch of class. Maximillian help make my birthday special with some unexpected extra touches.
Staff, location and Hotel decor were top notch
Fantastic service Great restaurant
Close to time square, theatres, walking distant to Central Park.
Ideal location for a weekend break in the heart of Manhattan. Good rooms, comfortable beds and express lifts to upper floors
Our room smelled of cat urine couldn't really wear my robe it was hard to the touch not comfy at all they charged you for the bottle water there was no fridge or microwave no real convenience
The bed was perfection didn't want to get out of it the bathroom was emulate
Everything. They could and would do anything for you. The hotel even has umbrellas for you when it rains. Great stay.
The staff was delightfully friendly and helpful. From the concierge to the lovely people at reception. We highly recommend the Muse and hope to return ourselves. Our little one loved his crib and comfy blanket. Thank you!!!!
Having stayed at other Kimpton hotels, we found the Muse incredibly disappointing in comparison. The service was significantly less friendly than other Kimptons, often perfunctory and transactional, rather than welcoming. We weren't welcomed on arrival; when we checked out, no-one asked how our stay had been or if we needed any advice or support in locating transport back to the airport, and in the majority of instances, we struggled opening the front doors ourselves as the door attendants were too busy. far inside the lobby, sheltering from the cold. Our room was also unacceptably cold. The in-room temperature controls did nothing. If we wanted to relax in the room, we had to huddle under the quilt, and we slept wearing jumpers and socks. The shower had no temperature options between luke warm and scalding hot, further compounding the effect of the cold room. We would not stay at The Muse again, and will not gravitate towards a Kimpton hotel as we did in this case.
The location was good. There was an above-average range of tv channels.
So easy to get anywhere we needed to go from the hotels great location
The free hot chocolate and wine hour
The location was fantastic. Room was amazing! Staff were wonderful. Overall experience was incredible!
Loved it all
Hotel was great 9/11 museum very emotional. Shopping fab and Central Park.
Portable heaters in rooms, heat intakes extremely loud
The hotel was modern, clean and comfortable . The location of the hotel was great for the theater going that we did.
Awkward layout in hallways to get to rooms. Had a side/rear room that had no view.
Had a side/rear room which was very quiet.Very nice bed and shower and both the room and bath were very clean.
Wine reception. Morning complimentary coffee. Very quaint hotel in an excellent location.
gym very small
very central. comfortable bed. room not small for NY.
Staff & Managers are discriminating among asians! Rude & disrespectful. We were harassed in terms of how they treated us considering we got two rooms!
None! As a frequent traveler, I will never stay in this hotel again.
Elevators can cause a bit of a wait, but only during peak periods.
Attentive staff, restaurant was delicious, and the wine reception was fantastic. Rooms are nice and comfortable.
Hotel did not provide tea and facilities in the room unless requested which we did so but unfortunately the electrical sockets were not appropriately situated to plug in the kettle we had to put it on the floor to boil and the tea and coffee was not topped each day unles we requested it.
Location of hotel was great just down the road from times square 3 min walking distance
Cannot fault a thing!
Loved the location, the staff were brilliant, very accommodating and the room was very big for New York!
No business center. Staff offered to look up and print whatever I wanted at the desk, but of course, expectation was to tip every time and you feel like you are imposing if it took longer than a couple of minutes. Don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel (and I've stayed at plenty) where there was business center available for guests - it's just good business.
The location of the hotel is fantastic; easy walk to theaters, Time Square, Rockefeller, shopping, dining, metro, etc., which in my opinion made the higher price well worth it.
