Wouldn't honor Booking.com reservation/prices. Had to call Booking.com and a very nice gentleman spoke to the hotel. Finally corrected price but had to jump through hoops to get reservation prices. Never again!! Pillows were small and not comfy and bed was like sleeping on rocks. Smelled musty.
The room was clean. The location is right near the aquarium and the village.
They deliberately tried to cheat us. This was no mistake, I assure you. They had the $173.98 part right but tried to say the tax (15%) brought it up to $230+. I told him that wasn't right. He just tried to talk me out of it. I then went and found the confirmation and went back and showed him the confirmation sheet, which had $173.98 but didn't have the total with the tax. The total was $200.08. Quite a difference! When my husband went down there he had changed it to $120+ but that still wasn't right. I looked on the confirmation page and found a phone number at the bottom, called Booking.com and explained everything to them and Brian confirmed the total price, put me on hold and called them immediately. They quickly changed their tune. I had already called my friends on the road and let them know what to expect when they arrived. The next morning my friend asked the front desk if it was all straightened out and they said that it had been taken care of but when we checked out, my friend and I got printouts to make sure we have it in writing. I can't even believe I had to ask for a printout. Thanks Booking.com for sticking up for us!!

Convenience to attractions
EXTRA charge above booking.com quote.
Location was great within walking distance to shopping and aquarium
Easy to drive to all the attractions. Good restaurants close.
the motel was across the street from the village. The seaport and aquarium were just a short drive away. Friendly and Steak Loft were convenient. The breakfast was continental but enoiugh to start your day.
location and price, room had a refrigerator
strong odor, mold like forced us to leave after being there for only half an hour. No elevator to get to second floor. Had to carry luggage up a flight of stairs.
We like that the motel was close to evrything!
The room is very basic. Very dated and could use an update.
Bathroom was in need of update/repair
Condition of premises
set up 2 wake up calls and neither one happened.
The hotel is pet friendly and the location is excellent, directly across form the Mystic Village with access to restaurants and shops all within a easy walking distance.
The facilities are worn down, the rooms are very small and the breakfast bar is quite limited. The location of the site warrents an upgrade, given that people would likely pay a bit more for the convenience if the quality & comfort of the stay were improved.
Great location, only a few blocks from the Aquarium. Clean and neat simple motel with good price. Outdoor pool good.
Breakfast is mainly toast, coffee Better quality fare would improve the experience. But at the low price, good location this is real issue,
great location, we could walk dinner & shopping. Nice pool, clean room, comfortable, nice staff
Pool was cold an marked wrong for depth. I am 6 ft. an at 4 an 5 it was over my head, luckily i can swim!!!!! Personality of staff was like a cactus in the Arizona desert, prickly an not nice!!
bathroom so small, couldn't turn around or close the door without bumping your elbows. No privacy when changing, a simple drape across that area would greatly improve need for changing privacy. A comfortable chair would be a great added feature. With the addition of just the privacy drape and a comfortable chair, I would definitely stay there again
Friendly fellow at the desk upon check in
Stained/dirty bath towel Moldy shower from ceiling leak Stuffy room stained carpet Place looked worn out No breakfast- junk cereal
had to fight for handicap room, especially one I could bring my scooter in, even though I had requested one
microwave and the fridge in the room.
the unexpected additional 10% occupancy tax.
The location was key. The motel was within walking distance of the Mystic Aquarium, the shops, several good restaurants.
the beds were not very comfortable, I slept ok but not great.
Bhavesh at the front desk was the man! Great recommendations and awesome service! Within walking distance (about half hour) from downtown Mystic and Mystic Seaport (about 15 minutes).
That we only got to stay there one night. :(
Easy to find. Good parking possibilities
Cleaness. Very! Noisy
Everyone was kind. The room was clean and neat. Fridge, micro a huge plus! Nice pool area. Would stay again.
Rooms could use a little updating.
